Clan Rodarch
Recent History [1000 ABY - 1023 ABY]
Recent History [1000 ABY - 1023 ABY]
Based on Concord Dawn, recent years have been tough on Clan Rodarch. Along with most Mandalorians, they evolved into bounty hunters and mercenaries. Losing their warrior identity was accepted by almost everyone. They found themselves in a strict rank structure, they found themselves arguing over what contract to take next, but they found themselves rich.
The raise of Mand'alor te Vencuyan was the best thing that happened to Clan Rodarch. Throwing away the petty titles, the contract work, and the rich lifestyle Clan Rodarch joined the Mandalorian Separatists. They would go on to suffer a lot of death, first at the Battle of Fenris and then at the many skirmishes. Growing so small, all Clan Rodarch could do to survive was attach itself to Clan Vencu. Becoming a minor clan, even more so than they were before, they continued to fight. They would eventually win, fighting alongside Clan Venc, Clan Ordo, and Clan Fett.
For a time it appeared that Clan Rodarch was prospering. Everyone shared in the honor and glory that Mand'alor te Vencuyan brought, fighting with Imperials and Chiss alike to conquer the Galactic Alliance, a foolish bunch of abandoned the Mandalorians under the reign of the last Mandalore. However Clan Rodarch had grown dependent on Clan Vencu's size and strength, and later they would realize the consequences.
With the destruction of Coruscant, the fall of the Galactic Alliance, and the death of Mand'alor te Vencuyan, the Mandalorians suffered. Clan Rodarch suffered the most of them all. As the Mandalorians fractured and fought each other over what little was left, Clan Cadera, a family of glorified bounty hunters and mercenaries, turned their attention to Clan Rodarch. No longer could Clan Rodarch exist, at least in Clan Cadera's game.
No one came to Clan Rodarch's help, not a Mandalorian, Imperial, or Chiss. They were hunted into near extinction as a result. Mandalorian Space wasn't safe, just outside of Mandalorian Space wasn't safe. The remaining members of Clan Rodarch had to run in order to survive, and many refused to run.
Kalsar Rodarch made his way to Rattatak, determined to see the survival of his clan. It's there he would call the last of Clan Rodarch to him. It's there Clan Rodarch would prosper.
Clan Culture
Clan Rodarch has brought back the traditions of the Mandalorian Crusaders. Honor and glory is gain by participating in battles and being loyal. The Resol'nare is followed to a tee, although along with many Mandalorians, Clan Rodarch is hesitant to follow the next Mandalorian that declares themself Mand'alor. Species from all corners of the galaxy are accepted into the Clan Rodarch, and the clan boasts a variety of different species all united as equals.
Warriors in Clan Rodarch are expected to be self-sufficient and competent, and should be able to provide their own food and supplies if the need ever arrises. Since Clan Rodarch has very few ranks, warriors follow the most experienced veteran on the field into battle. Aliit'alor Kalsar Rodarch serves as a guiding hand, peacekeeper, and father, but he is not a dictator. Every warrior has a stake in the future of the clan.
