OOC Mission Statement
When I returned to SWRP a few months ago, I began to brainstorm on how to revive the Lost. I spoke to Insoluent a few times, but due to his IRL problems we could never get anything going. Eventually I came to the conclusion that the Lost needed to restart completely fresh, and from the beginning. So, my intent for Clan Beviin is simple: develop them into the Lost through role-play. For full disclosure, Insoluent gave me his full permission to go this route.
Thematically, I intend to explore the Mandalorians as a culture in crisis. After the Civil War, the Clan Wars, and the Genocide, it's time to evolve. Not only should our characters evolve, but the stories we tell should evolve. Further, the original inspirations for the Lost will also be evoked, Robin Hood's Band of Merry Men and the Brotherhood Without Banners from the Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire series.

Clan Beviin History The history of Clan Beviin dates back to the terror of the Yuuzhan Vong War; founded by Goran Beviin, his husband Medrit Vasur, and their children. Fighting alongside Mand'alor Boba Fett, Goran achieved a handful of successes throughout the war, most notably killing a Yuuzhan Vong warrior with a pair of crushgaunts. Otherwise, most of Clan Beviin's distant history has been lost to time. Although Clan Beviin grew steadily since the Yuuzhan Vong War, they never reached reached the level of prestige that Clan Ordo or Clan Fett did. Concerning more recent history, the most important thing Clan Beviin did was side with Corden Vencu, eventual Mand'alor te Vencuyan, in the Mandalorian Civil War. Defeating the few Mandalorians who were still loyal to Dani Marren proved quick, and after that the Mandalorians as a whole, under the leadership of Vencu, joined the Empire in their war against the Galactic Alliance. It was a time of massive success, perhaps one of the few periods in recent memory that Mandalorians can remember with fondness. During the Battle of Coruscant, Vencu was murdered and the Mandalorians fell into disarray. Succeeded by Mand'alor te Di'kutla, who himself was succeeded by a thousand different individuals, the Clan Wars completely destabilized Mandalorian Space, and most of Clan Beviin died in the fighting. The Empire was forced to create a blockade of the area to keep the infighting from spreading into their own territory. What followed, eventually, perhaps most importantly, was a foolish attempt from Clan Renelo to run the blockade. They failed. The Empire decided to entertain peace talks, but those failed too. In response to everything, the Empire pushed into Mandalorian Space and destroyed everything in sight. Entire clans vaporized, multiple planets glassed. A few escaped the genocide, including a little more than a dozen of Clan Beviin's main body of members. Since, the few who remained has wandered neutral space in a single barge, doing their best to keep food in their belly. An illness recently swept through the already tiny remnant of the clan, killing two, including Bernez, the aliit'alor. Immediately after his death, Bernez's brother challenged Poe, Bernez's 14-year-old son, to a duel to determine the clan leadership. The younger Mandalorian won through pure luck. Beliefs & Goals The singular and overreaching goal of Clan Beviin is survival, a trait that most Mandalorians share. On top of that obvious goal, Poe Beviin, the current aliit'alor, wishes to establish roots on a planet somewhere. At the same time, he wishes to open his doors to any Mandalorian that needs help. One belief that makes Clan Beviin unique is their refusal to support any new Mand'alor, naming Corden Vencu the final, and also still current, Mand'alor. If you hear a member of Clan Beviin proclaiming their support for Mand'alor, they're speaking of Vencu. A new driving force for Clan Beviin is Poe's own want to help those in need, Mandalorian or not. Organization Clan Beviin is organized very informally at the moment. Poe Beviin serves as aliit'alor, and due to his age, an effective, but not official, regency council has formed. The council consists of Gwen, Poe's mother, Yann, Poe's uncle, and Krussk. Additionally, Tross'khak, Krussk's son, serves as Poe's quasi-squire. Otherwise, everyone in the family are on equal footing. Assets All the clan has of note is a single, generic barge. They own no other starships. All 14 members huddle as best as they can onto the one barge. The clan still has a single cache of weapons (i.e. carbines, slugthrowers, glop grenades, etc.) from their days of numbering in the hundreds. Previously, they had four other caches, but those were traded for a large amount of ration packs.
