Aopler wears a specially fitted ebony-coloured suit of armor, made of Mandalorian iron as to defend against lightsabers, which also has a jetpack installed. But what makes this suit especially unique, is its helmet. Made to look like the white bone of the skull of a human, it has a ghastly look about it, meant to strike fear into his enemies. With this suit he can still travel fast, and escape with his life if he needs to retreat. Also with him is his trusty hand-blaster strapped to his side, which emits green bolts that explode into a noxious, burning gas if it comes into contact with a lightsaber. He also has a long-range rifle on his back, and a vibro-knife at his hip in case his enemy gets too close.
Skills:
Cinic has always been good with guns, and normally as old age begins to set in, one becomes less skilled. Luckily, physical old age has yet to set in with Cinic Aopler. He is just as good--if not better--than when he was in his twenties. Which was about thirty years ago. And in that time, he has perfected his long-range marksmanship, as patience is one of the key traits in a sniper, and is something that usually comes with age.
Weaponry may be his specialty, but he is also a deadly hand-to-hand combatant, he is after all, a Mandalorian. And almost all Mandalorians are excellent with their fists.
He's also a decent pilot, as his reflexes have not yet begun to slow down.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
Cinic Aopler's best strength would be his skills with a gun or rifle, he could shoot an apple off your head at 1000 feet with a hand-laser. No lie.
Weakness? He's slow. Not in the head, but physically. He's 54, he can't kick box with the young kids any more, not like he used to. But don't get too cocky, get in close and he can still show you what hell looks like.

Ship named Mistakes
Cinic had won the ship in a bet actually, a bet on a game of Pazaak. Dejarik was more his style, but he was feeling the luck that night, so he thought he'd try Pazaak. One of his old buddies, Xol Trevol (a Kel Dor who actually worked for the Republic, but when off-duty was a pretty cool guy) was busy playing the game already, and had beaten most of the lads in the cantina. Cinic then sat down in front of the Kel Dor, and demanded a match, wagering all his armour and weapons. Xol, wagered a ship, a fairly good sized freighter. Needless to say, the Mandalorian Capatain won, but the humorous thing was that Xol said it wasn't even his ship, but in fact his partner, Eurrsk Plot'nel's.
Tactical Ground Vehicle:
Named Betty
This vehicle is one of Cinic's favourite perks of being a Captain of the Mandalorian Clans. He was given this as a special gift years ago, and has since souped the tank up as much as possible, adding in a forward turbo laser cannon, and larger traction tires, giving it the ability to hold its ground better, and handle with ease. Betty is only used in dire circumstances, ones which Cinic deems worthy, such as when badly outnumbered, or in the middle of a war. He hopes he gets to use it again soon, it's fun.
Personality:
Aopler isn't a senile old man, not yet. He is just over the hill, old, but doesn't feel it. In his heart he is still twenty-five, and tends to like his women that same age. Full of life, and fun loving, Cinic likes to live on the edge, always taking risks, and flirting with danger, but he also knows his limits, albeit he doesn't like them. He's pretty patient too, and knows the price of arrogance, which has been granted to him through years of experience.
History:
Some might say it was the defining moment of his career in the forces, as well as his last.
But to him it was not so. It was a day to learn from his mistakes, and to grow from them. It may have taken a couple decades, but he did learn from them.
Cinic Aopler had a typical Mandalorian childhood. Stripped from his parents at a young age, he was trained to be an elitist, to become a full member of the Mandalorian clans, and to seek glory and honour on the battlefield. Cinic was one of the greats in his squadron, one of the best the army had ever seen. Excelling in almost all aspects of a soldier, Aopler was put out on the front lines in a war on a small planet in the outer rims.
There was a problem however; he was arrogant. It may have seemed like a good attitude to have to his superiors, as he was a bright young warrior, and his troops were behind him all the way, ready to follow him into death if it came down to it. But, he wasn't ready to charge to his own death. He was too inexperienced, and wasn't used to real warfare. He was used to the training sessions, not the bloody reality of the battlefield.
The first day went by easily, him and his squadron of men had captured one of the enemy's supposedly "secure" bases, and his men were in high spirits. But the second day, the second night, all that could have, went wrong. Their enemies executed an offensive assault on their lost base that night, surprising Cinic and his men, but Aopler thought they could handle it on their own, and did not call his superiors for reinforcements. Big mistake. By the time the night was over, more than half his men were slaughtered in the ensuing gunfight, and Cinic himself was shot in the right leg, multiple times. It was said he would never walk again, as most of the bone was pounded into mush from the erratic gunfire. He called for backup at that time, upon realizing that they would lose, possibly the whole war, if they didn't hold that base. What he did, was admit defeat.
Cinic Aopler was offically honourably discharged from his position, though behind the scenes he was scolded for his behaviour out on the field, Mandalore himself was disappointed. The leader of the Mandalorian Clans thought that maybe they had another great war general on the rise, but he was obviously wrong, and said so after hearing about the debacle.
Years of physical therapy later, he could in fact, walk again. Cinic limped however, and could not keep up with his fellow soldiers when it came to advancing on the field, or taking shelter from attack. He was slow. Too slow to be on the front lines. So he was issued a sniper, and brought in on rare occasions, to take out a few, or a single target. In his later career, he was awarded with valorous medals of honour, but none could whet his appetite, his ambitions. He wanted to be out there on the main front, to fight once again among his fellows. He could shoot better than most, and punch harder, it was just his leg that held him down. It was his initial arrogance that corrupted his future.
Now, at the age of 54, his limp still hasn't gotten any better. But it no longer matters, with his yearly income from his service, he purchased a special suit of Mandalorian armor, one outfitted with a jetpack, capable of long suspended aerial time, only having to refuel after several hours in use. He can once again move as quick as when he was young, if not faster. But it's up to his superiors, if he deserves a higher rank. Afterall, Cinic is 54. Who in their right mind would let an old geezer like him out on the front lines? But, he's a Mandalorian. One with a chip on his shoulder, and a heart yearning for this moment. And everyone knows, passion is the greatest weapon of all.
