Back on the throne and back in power, the king Hutt was on a mission. After seeing his legacy in such disarray, and stopping all out chaos in the Council Chambers, Borga has decided to pull the trigger on some of these unfinished plans. Starting with the takeover of Christophsis. The priority in this being that is had been set in motion long enough and the final details were ready to complete. He just needed the right people to do it. The Cartel was filed with those, yet he didnt want to rush anything. He would send one of his personal men along just to make sure things went smoothly. While Icarus had become more independent and has branched out quite a bit from simply a bodyguard and gladiator, the Hutt thought of someone else in mind.

The throne had been kept warm, figuratively speaking, by his mojodormo Wor Niedra, and all special contacts were kept up to date with his whereabouts. The call went through and the man for the job answered. Though, he would also trust two more. His son for one, whom he had yet to speak with upon his return, and another who he had yet to fully meet. They were given instructions to meet with him in his new palace in Grandio Chita, on Teth. Confident that they would suffice, and that another asset would be added to his own reign as Granee Lorda, Borga relaxed for the first time in months on his throne.

The Hutt waited for the teams arrival, though that didnt stop a maelstrom of underlings, crime bosses, or pirate leaders from attempting to get his attention as if he'd been gone for a decade. Stress came with the job and Borga knew just how to deal with it.

"Mi'lord, there is someone here to see you...Backes Kormtha Rahgor. He says he needs a word." Said one of the Hutts Zygerrian servants

The Hutt sighed. Had it been nearly anyone else he would have cast them away, yet Backes Rahgor was a long lived and loyal Hutt, one who deserved to be heard out at least.

"Send him in."

The servant squirreled away to bring forth the large Hutt. Backes bowed in respect, but didnt lose anytime getting to why he'd come.

"I am happy to see you back in charge Lord Borga, things havnt been quite the same since you left. I will get right to it. Tomax Anjiliac Aquila has essentially taken over one of my enterprises, and theres...."

"This is something you need to take up with your Kajidi, Backes. I did not return to solve every petty squabble that arises."

"But Kajidi Tamblyn has..."

"Enough, I dont want to hear another word. You are all here to benefit the Cartel, and yet you constantly worry only about yourself. Bring it to Petar Aquila. Find out whose enterprise brings the Cartel more worth, and then settle it. Now, leave!" The Hutts voice boomed. He was in no mood for such antiquated problem solving when the answer was simple. An answer that started with Vero, and one that Borga would continue to enforce. The Cartel was a community, and despite the recent civil clashes, Borga intended to return it that way. And while it was true, Borga's friend Jack Tamblyn has also appeared to be missing from the fray, it didnt change the fact.

It had been afew days since Jaz had been teaching Gemma when he got a message about a mission that might be suitable for the enforcer on the planet Christophsis but first he had to head to Teth, or more specifically to a palace in Grandio Chita, where most likely Jaz was to receive instructions about the task and meet the other members of the mission, so without wasting too much time Jaz left his racetrack on Nar Haaska, flying his personal fighter, heading to the planet Teth, dressed in his usual stormtrooper armour and equipment.

Once he arrived at the planet he then parked his fighter and made his way to the palace at double time he did not want to keep whoever was at the palace waiting for too long, and when he got there he heard a loud voice talking "Enough, I dont want to hear another word. You are all here to benefit the Cartel, and yet you constantly worry only about yourself. Bring it to Petar Aquila. Find out whose enterprise brings the Cartel more worth, and then settle it. Now, leave!"

When he saw the door open Jaz stood to once side allowing the hutt to pass without interference lowering his head slightly in respect, before he walked to the door and waited there for expressed permission to enter, which once given Jaz then walked to the hutt and stopped some distance away, military mannerism never going away..but of all the hutts he knew only two Nor'baal who had left Jaz and the rest of the group to take the fall for a unsanctioned takeover of a planet-or at least what he believed it to be-, and Arok who he had been working with for some time....unfortnally Jaz's ability with huttanese was...limited at best

I do hope this hutt doesn't get offended with my limited ability in huttanese Jaz thought to himself as he stood there like he was on parade

The human waved the large vibropike wildly at the growling Nexu, and attempted to fend it off with a clumsy two handed swing that missed the agile catlike predator by a wide margin and causing him to overbalance and nearly fall on his backside, leaving his flank dangerously open to a vicious swipe from the massive feline. The Nexu though didn't take the chance, and instead batted the weapon away from the shaking human with almost contemptuous ease - it's wickedly razor sharp claws sheathed in its large paws. The crowd watching from the large gallery above cheered on the Nexu, as tail swishing it slowly advanced on the cowering human. The man made a belated and hopeless dash for the fallen weapon, but he cat was too fast for him - with a lightning fast leap it jumped forward and slashed the male's outreached hand, causing him to quickly retract his now profusely bleeding arm and cradle it in his other hand. The Nexu bared its enormous mouth showing its innumerable fangs to good effect, and then darted forward to sink its jaws into the humans other hand. Now bleeding from both hands, and torn and bloodied from being batted around like a boloball the terrified human scrambled backwards on his back, trying to get away from the slowly advancing killer.

Finally tired of its sport, and to the glee of the watching lowlifes, the Nexu sprang forward in an almost invisible leap, moving so fast as to be a blur of lethal muscle and deadly claws, before it clamped its powerful and deadly fangs on the human's neck and shook with all its might. The force of the bite, and then the subsequent ravage left the mutilated and damaged head in the grip of the Nexu while the rest of the body was flung to the side, and spraying blood and gore slumped next to the wall in a growing pool of blood.

Arok clapped his hands with delight, and his booming laughter echoed through the vast room on Ryloth as he watched with delight as his pet started feeding. That annoying and pesky lawyer won't be bothering him again, and it would serve as a harsh lesson to his enemies arrayed on the planet that he wasn't someone to trifle with. It would also close the ongoing investigation into his business practices, as the principle investigator now lay dead in a pool of his own blood; and Arok was sure that the next "investigator" was going to be someone more - sympathetic - to his cause. After all, he was the one who had arranged for him to go through law school on Bastion and had paid his tuition as well as other "expenses" for him. That self same successor was staring down with barely disguised revulsion at the half eaten carcass of his old boss, and Arok was sure he would have a new outlook into the accusations of corruption that had been directed at Arok. Happy with the outcome as well as with the bloody carnage, Arok flicked his left eye subtly and activated the neural link to his monocle. Sending various commands, the viewport that had opened into the Nexu's living area/execution arena slowly closed leaving a featureless wall where a glassteel portal was a second ago. Holographic screens winked into being over it, and resumed their interrupted reports - galactic stock market numbers and charts, the different newsfeeds from Lessu City, as well as various reports from his underlings and gathered sycophants, all bloomed into being on the various screens.

As Arok went back to his scheduled meeting with the Mayor, who was staring at Arok with newfound respect, with a healthy dose of fear mixed into it, 3D-4Z stepped closer to Arok and in whispered Huttese (the Mayor was well known for his aversion to anything not Twi'lek) explained to him that he had a message on his private commlink line. Arok raised his eyes at that, there were only a select few people who had access to that frequency, and most of them were his family - except for his superiors of course and they all new not to interrupt him when he was in a meeting. Not unless it was life or death or he was needed immediately.

Arok rumbled his apologies and motioned for his aide to attend to whatever the Mayor wanted, and left towards his interior apartment rooms that he maintained on the topmost level of the great Tower. Exiting the repulserlift with an alacrity that the fat slug didn't know he had within him, he made his way towards the communications panel on his living room and activated the message. As the familiar blue light appeared in the air in front of him it coalesced into the form of an aged Chevin; and with a start that sent shock rippling through his body Arok recognized him as Wor Niedra, his father's longtime Majordomo and faithful steward of the Vosadii fortunes.

That was definitely unexpected, and Arok had to mentally shake himself from his stupefaction and concentrate on the message he was being given. Arok couldn't believe his ears and had to play the message again for it to sink in fully. It was everything that he had wanted for the past months and yet everything that he dreaded at the same time and Arok didn’t know what to do with himself. His father's disappearance had thrown the whole Kajidic (not to mention the entire Cartel) into jeapordy, and while Arok had done his best to project strength and control to the outlying Kajidics he was still only an Enforcer - and a junior one at that.

The games of intrigue and politics had even forced him into allying himself and his fortunes with another Kajidic in order to preserve what was left of the Vosadii, and he had desperately wished some days for his fathers return and the uprising it would mean as well as the return of power and control that would once again be the birthright of his Kajidic. However on the other hand, as Borga's only heir apparent and the sole surviving member of Borga's bloodline - Arok had made sure that his "siblings" didn't survive much later then their one hundredth birthday - Arok was looking forward to taking over his father seat and becoming the Kajidi of the Vosadii and ruling the great criminal syndicate that was his own birthright. Unsure of what to do at this point, Arok called in 3D-4Z and ordered him to prepare his ship for a long flight - his father had called him after all, and whatever he was going to do about it would have to wait until after he met with his father - and then settled in to think of the consequences of his fathers return. As his SoroSuub Corporation Luxury 5000 space yacht was refueled and restocked for the flight, Arok made a few calls and then guided his hoversled to his ship.

TETH, TETH SYSTEM
GRANDIO CHITA
Borga's Palace

A while later....

Arok swept into the large foyer just as a different Hutt exited the Palace in what looked like a huff, and he raised his eyebrows at the spectacle - could it be Backes Kormtha Rahgor? What was a Kormtha doing in his fathers Palace? Ever since their mishaps and accidents following Jack Tamblyn's ascension to their Kajidic they weren't seen around Hutt Space often, and to find that one of them had gotten the nerve to come out from their unofficial ostraciszm and make his way to the Granee Lorda himself! Must have been truly important or he wouldn't even be alive...

As he continued moving forward, and passing the numerous security checkpoints inside the Palace he finally reached the entrance to Borga's throne room and found to his surprise that a human warrior was waiting inside standing at attention, his posture ramrod military and his demeanor looking like he was waiting for someone to tell him what to do. He glided up behind him and slapped him on the back, chuckling to himself "<Hello there Jaz, what are you doing here in my father's Palace? Have you been summoned here as well?>"

Risa Valo had been seeking an chance like this and was nervous beneath a stoic face. Dressed in her crimson jacket and tan pants, Risa made her way through the security within Borga's palace after being cleared. The fact she was summoned by one of the heads of the Hutt clans had been a welcomed surprise. Of course, Risa reminded herself that she was still a lowly kung, barely worth any note in the eyes of the Cartel...yet. She knew how such a system works due to her peasant origins on Falleen.

Yes this is a chance to prove herself but it was best not to let it to get over her head.

Then she came into the throne room where Borga the lorda himself relaxed in full view of the all who can see. Yes he was a king but unlike those Risa was familiar with on her home-planet, Borga and his kind not only had power they had the drive and means to suceed in whatever venture they wanted to take. Those were traits she very much admired if nothing else about the Hutts. Suddnely she spotted Jaz Corban an enforcer she met on Nar Shaddaa and another Hutt beside him. It seemed the slug knew Jaz as well judging by the way he greeted him.

It was like a prince greeting a servant he was familiar and fond of. She nodded to Jaz in silence while bowing her head to Arok and then to Borga on the throne.

"<Greetings oh exalted one I have come as you commanded.>"

It was a good thing Risa learn a great deal of Huttese in her galactic travels as a pirate. She didn't speak actually like a Hutt would but it was refine enough to show reverence to Borga's status.

Allowing the three participants to arrive and settle in before having them approach, Borga was glad to see them all answering his call. Though, he was more curious about seeing his son. While he was away, he hadnt had the chance to take a look into what Arok had been doing. And so he didnt know just how successful he'd become. Though it was long overdue, their meeting here would not be there last, yet it would not be one of social congregation. He had a mission, and needed it done before anything else was to happen. With a wave of his hand, he gestured for them to step further. Having such confidence in these three, he did not feel the urge to send in his own weapons.

"I am glad you are all here." The Hutt king began in Standard Basic. He understood that there were those who still hadnt grasped the language yet, and one of them being a recruit he did not was any mis communications. "First off I'd like to mention that yes, I am back from my short hiatus. MY absence was not unwarranted and you can trust me that it was in the favor of the Cartel and of all of you. So now that I am here, the Cartel has my full attention. Which brings me to my first order of business. Please familiarize yourselves with what is going on on the planet Chrisophsis if you have not already. Essentially, we are planning a takeover of the planet and its resources. The operation had started not long after the end of our little conflict with the Sith, and now it is in its final stages...that is where you come in."

Borga let his Majodormo handle the specifics of the current mission. While the Hutt-King understood the overall picture of the operation, he did not want to get facts confused on the smaller specifics of missions. The Chevin stepped forward from the Hutts side and began right away.

"SaCouer Enterprises and Reliant Heavy Materials Corporation have been stockpiling weapons and building their private armies like none before on the crystalline planet to protect themselves. Assault one of SaCouer's board-members and kill him...publicly. Whether or not you leave a little bit of evidence implying Reliant Corp does not matter at this point. Anything you can do in addition to ensure war as an end result. Another optional goal that will add fuel to this fire will be to stage an attack on a nearby SaCouer local office. While not as necessary, this will help ensure a war." As the Chevin stopped speaking Borga nodded and rose from his throne.

"So if there are any questions or doubts...please voice them now. Otherwise you will have my full armory and hangar at your disposal."

Turning around to see who had slapped the red head's back only to see that Arok was here as well, so it seemed as though he had been summoned to this palace as well, listening to Arok as he spoke asking why he was in the Arok's father's palace then asking if he had been summoned as well

"Yeah I was summoned here as well, right in the middle of modifying my swoop bike as well, but as the saying goes "duty calls" what about you? i'm guessing you were summoned here as well?"Jaz asked before noticing somebody else coming up beside them, and noticed that it was the pirate Risa Vola, nodding back at Risa before focusing on the other hutt who sat on the throne..what was his name...Borga? yes Borga that's the name of the hutt, noticing the hutt motion for the trio to step closer which he did taking a few steps forward

And what happened next surprised the man, when the hutt started to talk in basic...and he had thought that the huts didn't like using basic unless needed, shaking his head slightly he carried on listening to Borga as he explained the reason behind his absence, finishing saying that his plan was in the final stages and that were the trio came into the plan

"..."staying quiet he then watched as a Chevin stepped up to talk about their task for which they had been summoned for, which was starting a war between two Corporations by killing a SaCouer's board member publicly regardless of if they used evidence to suggest that the other corporations was involved...well if that was the case..then to achieve the best result they would have to dress up as members of SaCouer's private army...but then again that might be abit risky.

As he thought about the task Borga then asked if there was any questions or doubts which Jaz didn't really have any that were important, since the task was clear kill a board member publically setting off a war between two corporations, though there was one question which would help their mission out greatly

"Is there any way we can get the uniforms of the Reliant Heavy Materials Corporation private army?, As I believe this would help us throw the blame squarely on the corporation in question without drawing attention on the cartel?" Jaz asked standing there waiting to see if the others had any questions and for the answer to his question as well

As Jaz stumbled forward a little and then turned around to see who had slapped his back, his consternation and surprise turned to a friendly greeting as he grumbled good naturedly about his swoop bike while asking about Arok's own involvement in this new escapade. Arok chuckled lightly, and was about to answer him when a new sound echoed through the grand chamber - it seemed someone else was invited to the party and he was curious to see who it was this time. During his recent time with the Cartel, Arok had grown more and more social and had met more then a few of the Cartel's more prominent member's as well as its rising stars and he was surprised when he couldn't identify the female scoundrel who was walking up to them as they waited for Borga to acknowledge them.

The woman was a Falleen of all things, and her striking green skin, lightly scaled and ridged betraying her reptilian ancestry was more then offset by a rakish crimson jacket that she wore, tan pants and a freakish assortment of weapons adorning her body. Of note was the vibrorapier that more then denoted her status as a pirate and privateer for hire, as most combat veterans preferred the usage of firearms over getting up close and personal (in his experience at the least), as well as the double holsters on her belt that were placed just so, to give her the optimal hybrid of style and efficiency, holding a LL-30 Blaster Pistol in each one.

She sauntered up to the two of them, and nodding to Jaz and bowing her head slightly more to Arok she then turned to Borga and greeted him in Huttese. That already raised his opinion of the woman, as she definitely knew how to address a Hutt properly and even showed enough respect in her words. Arok decided that for a non-Hutt she was ok, and resolved to check her out later on and see if she might be of use to him - he was lately becoming quite the collector, and though like most collectors he always wanted more, he collected agents and operatives - not material possessions (Although truth be told, after the whole Onderon heist he was also building a taste for collecting other things as well, and he recalled fondly the Nexu and Gobo that he had collected in his time in the Cartel, as well as the ships and swoops he had bought/ They would constitute a good startup for his eventual private gallery that he was planning to build on Ryloth).

So engrossed in his own thoughts that he missed his fathers gesture to come forward, and to his chagrin his father's voice echoed through the large chamber surprising him and pulling him back to the present. He deftly manipulated the hand controls on his hoversled and with a silent nudge the sled zoomed forward until it rested alongside his partners below the grand dais of Borga. His father's great voice boomed out through the room and his presence drew all eyes to him, as he outlined briefly the recent situation regarding his absence as well as the situation with Christophsis - Arok was already appraised by Mjolla about the mission, although he couldn't go himself in the end, he had arranged for one of his major contacts in the Bounty Hunters Guild to be sent in his stead - Grondo Vosadii Arduv, a most vicious Hutt and a psychopathic killer if there ever was one.

Arok was glad that this time he himself was going to aid the beautiful woman directly as well as helping out his father for the first time since Arok returned from his little rebellion with the Exchange. Soon enough the familiar form of Wor Niedra shuffled slowly forward and outlined the plan in its minutiae - it seemed that they were to assault one of the board members of SaCouer Enterprises and kill him - publicly. Arok raised his eyebrow at that, even with his recent acquisition and rebuilding/renovation of the Shell Hutt armor plates and an ancient suit of Hutt Battle Armor he still wasn't the most accomplished warrior and he was worried that he would let his father down. Nonetheless he was determined to continue forward with the mission and he wouldn't let himself be sidelined by any handicaps. Arok thought about getting a droid brain/A.I to handle his firing and made a mental note to get Gemma or Nodja to fix something up for him before he left for the mission itself.

As the Chevin concluded his briefing and Borga magnanimously shared his expansive and high tech armory with them as well his large hangar that housed more then enough spacecraft for the mission, Jaz spoke up and asked a good question about their mission objective and the means in which they will be going through with it.

Arok looked up at his father and crossed his arms defiantly - the last time they had spoken was not in the friendliest of fashions, and he still smarted about the incident on Desolation Alley! But he quickly mastered his emotions and plastering a smile on his face he looked at Jaz quickly in disapproval and faced his father for the first time in quite a while "<I concur with him, Lorda->" he deliberately used his fathers Kajidi title instead of his familial one to acknowledge that now was not the time to reignite their familial dispute, and this was a meeting between the Granee Lorda and his minions "<My only question is - as Jaz asked, do you want this to be tied to the Cartel, or are we supposed to make it seem like corporate warfare turned ugly? Because I believe that my presence there would more then make it seem like the Cartel was taking a personal interest in the corporate politicking that is happening on Christopshis, a Hutt after all is a very distinctive and unique creature.>"

He looked at the pirate and wondered what she would say, as he waited for Borga to answer his own question. While he knew that with his newest acquisition he was more then prepared for this type of mission - finally - he wasn't sure that it was the right tool for the job. His Battle Armor was armed to the teeth, and sported a shoulder mounted E-Web heavy repeating blaster as well as small blasters on his wrists, as well as some rockets and darts that could be launched at opponent's should the need arise. His last trick was something borrowed from old Imperial technology and was stolen from their old spacetroopers armor - and incorporated a miniature proton torpedo!!! in case of some real emergencies. Although he knew that it was a one shot piece and extremely dangerous in close quarters he nevertheless chose to incorporate it into his suit for any sort of chance that would ever need.

Risa Valo herself would've never expected a Hutt speak in basic, of course stranger things had happen in her travels she recalled. Still one could tell that his lordship Borga wanted to be perfectly clear with what he had in mind for them to do. It is thrilling to her, to start a conflict on Christophsis, so that the Cartel can take full advantage of the world. Yes assisting in the takeover of this planet would be most excellent start in her new career. She couldn't resist forming a half smile at the very prospect.

Of course, Jaz and the other Hutt, Arok brought up some points to consider, but Borga must've have that taken care of or else he wouldn't have bother to given them this task. The Lorda did stated he had an armory and hanger for their use, meaning the Reliant Corp equipment could be wthin reach already. She didn't see any need to ask a lot of questions since the others gave a good share already and she wouldn't dare offer suggestions when it comes to these plans at his stage until she had built up her reputation in the syndicate a little bit more.

Still I can't not present myself as an ignorant pet who knows noting, the hutts have those as many as the stars and very expendable. No I must show myself as a willing future vassal to vital to his plans. She thought within the inner sanctum of her mind and she then spoke in basic with professional yet respectful tone.

"If you permit it oh mighty Lorda, what is the name of this target that must die to fulfill the Cartel's vision for Christophsis?"
