My community is definitely afraid. He graduated from my high school and there's been fears that he'll make an appearance there.

I'd be more afraid of the LAPD showing up and shooting you accidentally.

They've actually been doing that. Of course not to me, but people have been shot at accidentally. We're all very tense over here.

I wouldn't be frightened of Dorner unless you are a "bad cop," or assisting said "bad cop."

He's killed two civilians. And the police have fired on innocent people as well. It's not as simple as being a "bad cop."

JP has every right to be concerned. It's probably not constructive to be paranoid over this incident, but as someone who grew up in a violent neighborhood, when shit like that does happen around you, you do get a tendency to be wary. JP's situation is of course, different than mine, or yours, but don't begrudge him his feelings, particularly when they are just a benign sort of caution.

I do hope they catch this gentleman with no further bloodshed, though given the contours of this story, it seems more death is inevitable.

Being paranoid gets you nowhere, but caution is always good. And they last saw him in the middle of the wilderness in the mountains so I'm fine. It'll make an exciting movie one day.

A girlfriend and daughter of one of his targets. Dorner is smart and has a mission. In all likelihood, you have absolutely nothing to worry about unless the cops decide you're a big black man with a grey truck.

Update: He torched his truck and ran into the mountains. The schoolkids up there have the day off for obvious reasons. The police got a call last night that led them to a cabin that was occupied, but Dorner wasn't there. They have no idea where he is right now.

Ex-Military, ex-cop. Dude's off the grid imo. He won't be found unless he wants to be found.

He's obviously crazy, being driven to this point (of craziness) by the LAPD themselves. When you lose belief in justice, what is a person to do? I hope they don't find him, admittedly. The twisted part is that the LAPD have proven statements he made in his manifesto right, and those hunting him are likely to kill him to avoid a big, open trial.

If I thought that he was going to get a fair trial I would want him caught before he could cause more damage.

Wait, wut???
However you justify his killing spree, it wouldn’t suffice. Innocent lives are been lost at the expense of some douchebag’s
