BIOGRAPHY

Choli's earliest memory is the blinding light of the Twin Suns. The mirages of heatwaves, the grit of sand choking her throat, and the roar of a sand storm as it enveloped her. The Tusken Raiders found her, a lone bantha sheltering her from the brunt of the storm. An omen. Lost but found. Taken in, Choli spent her early years being raised by the clan. Choli was to complete her coming of age ceremony, a situation within the tribe led to the decision to sacrifice Choli to the demons of the desert. Left alone with her bantha, she was discovered days later after a terrible sandstorm by local Jawa merchants. They brought her to Mon Eisley, and, from there, she was thrust into the shocking life of offworlders, began her life among several drifter colonies. Her adeptness in mechanical skills allowed her to earn some credits, but it was during a stop at a spaceport in Wild Space that Choli met a Corellian woman named Chloe Blake. The Corellian pilot took Choli under her wing and brought her aboard her ship, where the secretive Warden of the Sky Master would teach the young woman everything she knew; astrography, piloting, the scattered, lost Force legacies of the past. Like a sponge, Choli soaked it up in awe and was entranced by the galaxy at large and all its inhabitants, so different from her clan back on Tatooine. As life would have it, assisting a local world of refugees against the Sith resulted in the girl joining forces with local resistance. She ultimately served as a starfighter pilot with them, fighting Sith and imperial troops alike. It was during these series of battled filled months that Choli found herself a POW under the Sith during a starfighter crash. Ultimately, the girl woke up a month later with no memory of what occurred. The loss of time and uncertainty of just what the Sith had done to her is a trauma point for her, resulting in a panic attack, seeking to escape the med-center. It was then that she met Trextan Voidstalker, a Jedi Knight who was still working through his broody mess of a past. As time went on, they became close friends. At the fall of the local resistance that they both participated in, they decided to try their luck at exploring the galaxy together, figuring out just what the Force and the Galaxy had in store for them.

Personality

Choli is mature for her age in some ways and naive in others. Her time growing up with the Tusken Raiders allowed her to hone her abilities for survival in extreme environments, tracking, hunting, and understand the harsh realities of life. However, that isolated culture affected the girl just as well; she was illiterate, and it was difficult to fully grasp the written word once she was exposed to society. Relationships and their intricacies are slow to be developed as she tends to be overwhelmed by the extroverted of outworlder society. The mores and norms of the Tusken Raider lifestyle are a large part of her worldview, affecting how she interacts with others. She can be no-nonsense and commanding in necessary leadership roles, doing her best to gauge the whole situation. She is blunt, more often than naught, without tact. She has no sense of description, as the communal and survival culture of the Tusken Raiders meant that lying or being deceptive was not a part of her social norms. At times, she sees things in black and white and has trouble grasping normal social norms. However, she is getting better after her experience in a small sector resistance against the Sith. Building a community with her squadron pilots allowed her to try and find some normalcy.

Skills

Choli's time working with Jawas and as a drifter colony bum in her later years granted Choli a knack for fixing and tinkering with droids, ships, and anything mechanical. She could lose herself in a salvage yard looking for salvageable parts or trying to refurbish old ships or droids. The Force only amplifies it just a bit more, allowing her to glean a bit more information or a faster diagnostics analysis. She is an average pilot, with just enough Force sensitivity to assist in those gut decisions for turns. Her time with the Sand People has allowed her to survive in a harsh desert environment, identify water sources, suitable flora to eat on Tatooine and increase her stamina and endurance for long treks. However, this means that she is out of her wits in an icy or cold environment, unable to bear with the unfamiliar climate. Double-jointed, Choli is also reasonably nimble, and this allows her to twist into better positions to turn a wrench in tight spaces. She is unaware she is an Epicanthrix and believes herself to be a humanoid mutt of some sort. Perhaps just human. However, her racial abilities allow for both a boon and flaws;. At the same time, it is difficult to probe her mind for information or glean what she is thinking; it also means that any telepathic attempts or communication don't work. She cannot use telepathy or mental powers beyond a very low use of telekinesis. While Force Sensitive, her strength in the Force is low, allowing her just a bit of an edge and assistance. All in all, she is a below-average Force user, and that is just fine with her.
