And before you went from being in charge of nobody, to leading 500 men, to leading a few thousand. That's way too large of a gap ICly and it makes no sense really. As is, there's more ranks which means more opportunities for promotion and you now control sensibly sized squads.

Well, you could have gone at it the way they do in canon (US Naval ranks), especially if you needed more ranks. Still, if you have some sort of IC reason, then go for it. Kinda senseless to use Naval ranks for ground forces man.

I'm going to say the ranks have been that way since the first Imperator stepped to the plate and took over. I can't tell you more as Chiss Military History is still M.I.A but that's what I'm going with for now.

I only changed the Army ranks, the Navy ranks have been the same since the timeline started :p

Yeah I'm not quit finished with her profile yet. I sort of hit a wall on her profile and started to work on my sith yesterday until I figured out what more I wanted to put into it.

Well I got to be honest looking at all I can find here the limited government roles have left me a little unsure. Though based on some of the ideas I have been having about Lirum I'm thinking as some sort of liason to the Empire maybe. She would be someone the chiss sends when they want something from the governments of the galaxy. If that makes any sense.

Well, I've been working out the Empire + Chiss relationship with Xeno and one of the terms of our little alliance was that the Chiss would have a representative in the Empire. Maybe you could work on filling that role? I'd have to see the finished profile to tell you for sure, but I could let you know.

That'd be a high rank for someone that used to work in the entertainment industry. You'd be coming in at the bottom, if you used that character. However, if you want to create a military man, I'd be okay with you running a sim against Mr. SWRP Calender himself, Santoro.
