DESCRIPTION
The Chichan is one of the first civilian available submersible craft on the market. Bellica Works Inc realized that many planets have extensive water ways and while people can traverse land and air with ease, the depths of oceans, lakes and rivers are still out of reach. So they set out on designing an adequatly performing air speeder that can also traverse aquatically.Since its originally unveiling, the Chichan has become a common sight on resort worlds and areas on planets with notable bodies of water. Little to no difference from normal air speeders the HCT-4 has a few key differences. The Chichan bears a limited life support system that allows its inhabitants to remain underwater for nearly 24 hours. This was meant primarily as a safety measure due to the intense pressures that the depths of some oceans provide. Search lights and a radar system allow drivers to avoid collisions with obstructions or other vessels.
While it is below average compared to other high end repulse craft it's ability to submerge without issue makes it still an attractive purchase. To submerge, one must first decrease to a safe speed or risk impacting the water and causing permanent damage to the speeder. It's bulbous and open cabin makes it ideal for exploring, sight seeing, and everyday transport. Usually people choose to sport elaborate paint jobs and bright colors since they are in bright and sunny locales. The cataloged provides numerous forward, rear, and more defining pictures that allows for a dynamic understanding of the vessel.
LEGALITY
Legal, treated as both a water craft and air craft of civilian type.INTENT
There are plenty of planets out there and I would think that the Mon Calamari have some but are not in great circulation. Various explorers and PCs would want to be able to go underwater without resorting to a mon cal star fighter or advanced tech when they simply want to get to point A to B.ADVANCED TECH
NO. These are common throughout the galaxy and have no real advantage in a PvP situation that makes it worthy of being advanced tech.
