Mmkay, an MK-series maintenance droid join has fallen into the possession of Cheyenne and Jennifer. It's allowed free reign around the ship and may even be called in for special jobs that find themselves in need of. And thanks to Mmkay's unique programming, it's overbearing personality is similar to a motherly one, which gives these two orphans their daily dose of over-intensive "love". Mmkay therefore has pink overtones on it's paint job.
Jennifer Horne was born to two smugglers who had set to retiring on Nar Shaddaa. Her parents quickly found themselves spending more money than their funds were contracting on their own, so with reluctance, her father, Ben, absolved his retirement and was back to narrowly escaping close calls with capital ships. His wife, on the other hand, cared for her newborn baby, guarded the child with her life and rarely left home due to the scary landscape surrounding her and her child. So, when Jennifer's mother was impregnated with Cheyenne, stress began to overtake her. A few days after delivery, Cheyenne and Jennifer's mother perished due to complications that weren't wrapped up after delivery, leaving a lovesick Ben to care for his newborn and toddler.
He swiftly set to making a direct living on Nar Shaddaa and moved him and his girls into his ship and docked at a promenade. He set to working for a gang to make ends meet, therefore leaving his MK-series maintenance droid to watch over his girls. The droid originally didn't do much, but after learning that hiding them wasn't going to stop the crying, it quickly learned that diaper changing, feeding, and putting to bed were one of the few ways to get them to shut up.
As the two young women grew up, at the age of seven and five respectively, the girls had begun talking with people in the promenade and were educated by a member of their father's gang. They were taught Galactic Basic, Huttese, and a bit of Binary so they could understand droids, while also learning how to do "smuggler" related things. They were taught to lie, to shoot, and to move and think with dexterity. However, at the age of twelve and ten, the two were in nearly entirely different directions.
Cheyenne was dependent on her sister and served as a technological specialist rather than someone who would shoot someone in the face, even though she was capable. Therefore, her schooling was more focused in and she was taught how to pilot her father's starship, repair things, slice, and do handy work. Jennifer on the other hand, was more hands on, aggressive, and protective. She learned how to use an assortment of weapons and how to hold her own against people, as well as pilot a variety of land and atmosphere based vehicles. Both practiced multiple martial arts, although Jennifer led the way in terms of the duo's skill, as well as how to repair things.
At the age of fifteen and thirteen, the two were contracted with their father to do jobs. Cheyenne served as a slicer and technological specialist, while Jennifer covered her sister and acted as a distraction. Their father watched them and provided insight when they were having trouble, as well as covering both of them. Sadly, it didn't last.
Their father was killed in action during a high priority mission for the gang. He was to pilot his ship into enemy territory and smuggle some slaves out, although it backfired. He was killed and his transport was stolen, leaving his two daughters to fend for themselves on Nar Shaddaa. Although it was a heavy hit to their lives, the two began to pave their way into something greater than their parents did. With Mmkay still functioning (he was left behind), the three removed themselves from the gang, stayed hidden, and began practicing private contracts.
