Phew so i got a bunch of questions on the character creation:

STRENGTH: Describe the strength of your character.
DEXTERITY: Describe whether or not your character is nimble or agile.
CONSTITUTION: Describe the health of your character.
INTELLIGENCE: Describe the intelligence of your character.
WISDOM: Describe the wisdom of your character.
CHARISMA: Describe your characters ability to charm or influence others. I’ve seen on other profiles a Point System yet this is not in the Standard rpc template so how is this ranked how many Points can you invest or is it simply free form ?

SKILLS:
Describe the skills that your character possesses. Is there a list of skills to choose from if so where? otherwise how do we make up these skills?

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Add in the lightsaber/sword forms your character knows as he/she learns them. Please keep in mind the rules for knowing lightsaber/sword forms. At the Jedi Padawan and Jedi Knight skill level, you may only know one form. If your character reaches the Jedi Master skill level, you may know two forms. If a character becomes the Faction Leader or is at the Jedi Council skill level, they may know a third form but it is preferred that they do not have a mastery over the third. Aside from light sabers does this count for other swords if so which and how are they taught and or what would the Jedi Knight rank be if the sword form was a vibro blade for example?

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Describe in moderate detail the strengths and weaknesses of your character. Again is this free from or is there a Point System ?

GEAR:
Describe the items that your characters carries with them.

SHIP:
Does your character have a personal ship? If so, describe it in moderate detail (what does it look like, what can it do, what types of weapons and engines does it have, etc.).

DROIDS:
Does your character have any droids? If so, what are they? For gear ships and droids how do we know how much we can give a starter character ? Also is there a list of items to choose from for example can the rpcs who have joined the rebels pick from the weapons that are given in the rebel technology section? Or do we have to apply for These in the creation section and then pay with the amounted credits ?

PETS:
Does your character have any pets? If so, what are they? Do we have to acquire these IC or pay or how do acquire these ?

BOUNTIES COLLECTED:
Post the names of any bounties you have delivered and the amount of money you gained for it. If possible, include a link to the thread in which it happened. Is there a bounty book somewhere on the site ? as in certain rpcs have bounty’s ? If so where?

Sorry for the bombardment of questions I have to get used to the sites format and am having trouble finding things thank you in advance

I like to use the for my attributes 8,7,7,6,6,5. As this gives you a lot of room to have your character grow, but that is entirely up to the player. If a profile comes across as too strong, usually the fellow writers here will hop on in and say something. As for your other questions, just be reasonable.

If you walk away from character creation saying "hehehe, this character is sooo powerful." Then go back and fix it. But, if you're reasonable and true to the character, then you should be fine. Just please don't have him starting off with a legion of Super Battle droids that he restored with his superspecialawesome repair skills while being a master swordsman who everyone loves because he's so charismatic.

It's... relatively freeform, for the most part anyway. The points 'system' is more a way of quickly getting across what your character is generally good at than say... something that comes into play as a mechanical game system. Some people don't use points at all and choose to describe their strengths and weaknesses ("Brian has impressive physical strength, attributed to his race's natural height and build, as well as regularly training, etc, etc. He does not possess many social-skills however, being rather reclusive and something of a loner, much more comfortable in his own company than with large groups of people. This is a consequence of his quite sheltered upbringing"). With that being said, whilst it is a freeform system - and I expect you know this - that doesn't mean you should go overboard and ramp every attribute up to the highest levels (extremely strong but quick on his feet, very intelligent, with lots of charm and wit).

SKILLS:Describe the skills that your character possesses. Is there a list of skills to choose from if so where? otherwise how do we make up these skills?
Skills are up to you. Whether he's good with a blaster, a promising swordsman, half-decent pilot or has a great pokerface when playing a hand of Pazak. The only real exception are Force Powers. You can find the banned list here. Just don't make him a master of everything.

[/I]LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:

I THINK this just refers to lightsaber forms, but I'm sure somebody else can confirm it.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

Freeform. As always, don't go overboard. Try to balance each strength with a weakness.

GEAR:
Describe the items that your characters carries with them.

SHIP:
Does your character have a personal ship? If so, describe it in moderate detail (what does it look like, what can it do, what types of weapons and engines does it have, etc.).

Again, it's freeform. Again (again), that's so long as you don't go overboard. Keep in mind that if you're going to be using/creating a new piece of gear/ship/species that doesn't already exist you'll need to submit a request for approval. The sub-forums for that can be found here. You CAN (and it's generally encouraged) get these things via roleplay. My character kept a shuttle that he and a partner-in-crime used to escape on a mission for example. As a general rule of thumb though, you should be able to explain how/where/when your character got something such as a pet, a ship, any really juicy bits of technology (obviously for stuff like standard factory blaster rifles it's not really necessary). Moderation is important as I'm sure you're sick of me going on and on about; your guy won't have a Star Destroyer (and probably never will), but it would be reasonable for him to have a personal craft such as a starfighter or small ship to get from A to B and engage in some fights with.

Certain factions have bounty boards. You put in a request to take that bounty and usually partner with another player(s) character(s), then you whip up a thread and go about getting that bounty. I'd say that the faction that has the biggest focus on bounty hunters/hunting would be the Hutt Cartel. Tah-dah.

Don't stress it. We were all new once.

Everything on SWRP is freeform. So don't bother with points or numerical attributes, to be honest. Besides, some stats such as wisdom, kinda defy quantification by their very nature.
