In the dead of night Lauren Pete's ship landed in the grain fields of his farmstead where he had spent his childhood. He came rolling out of the shuttle in his wheelchair and quickly made his way to the front door of his home. His mother had been waiting for him in the doorframe as he made his approach waited patiently for his son's return. Her hair was a mess and her eyes where bloodshot from the stress. She had sent Lauren mutliple messages that his father had been abducted after his ops mission behind enemy lines. She bent down to give her son a long hug. This had been the first time they saw each other in years. since his depature and never got the chance to say goodbye. Finally, she broke out into tears. "I'll find him and bring him back." Lauren whispered before prying his mother off of his shoulder then turning away in his wheelchair and pushed forward trampling over the grain and back to his shuttle.
The Jedi Knight knew his duty and the Sith responsible would be punished for his crimes. He took a shuttle to his father's last whereabouts of Ord Radama where he was on an espionage mission. He had thought his father was involved in petty crime stopping, finding out he had been activily fighting the Sith weighed heavily on his heart. The Sith were ruthless and could only imagine the horrors he was going through.
Once touching down on the industrialized world, Lauren needed information and knew where to find it. On the planet was a prominent crime syndicate of humans and devlikks that illegally export minerals and bypass imperial tariffs. Someone must have had contact with his father, the syndicate being a reliable source of information in regards to knowing how the empire choses to export their goods. But first Lauren needed to contact them and the most reliable way was to join their ranks in the prison system.
Leaving his specialized wheelchair behind on a rented ship on the outskirts of the city, Lauren propped himself up with crutches and began to travel to the nearest bank hundreds of miles away. Opening the door inside of the large crowded bank, he brandished a blaster rifle from underneath his robe. Before he could even lift it up into the air he was quickly taken down by three muscular security guards. The three of them cuffed and beaten him with electrical batons beofre taking him away.
Lauren appeared infront of a judge, pleaded guilty and was sent to three years in a correctional facility. All planned of course, Lauren already had plans to escape. Before hand he watched from orbit security blind spots in the central courtyard and escape routes . He was allowed to keep his crutches and was issued a cell the next day. Fifteen days in prison passed, Lauren was sitting crossed-legged in his cell meditating when a guard slipped him a letter where normally he had been recieving his food. The lettter read simply: Meet us in the laundry room at dusk fellow patriot. A smirk appeared on the Knight's face as he whispered to himself that night. "Just as planned."
