CHAOS UNLEASHED: Sith Onslaught Strikes Peaceful Ansion, Jedi Master Leads Defence!

The peaceful planet of Ansion has become the latest victim of Sith aggression. Falling under an attack focused on the usually secure settlement of Cuipernam, Sith infiltrators led by an Apex Mercenary Commander assaulted the Sorr-ul-Paan Plateau, home to the planet's only major spaceport.
Led by a member of the infamous murder-for-hire outfit Apex, the hired thug leading the attack is, based on early images released to this publication, a cybernetic warrior of unknown species.
Heading up an attack force of ships 'brimming' with Droids and Sith warriors, the Sith Order, who appear to be funding the invasion, immediately began firing on unarmed and unsuspecting civilians.
Within moments of the commencement of the attack, the cyborg commanding the attack appeared to fire at a defenceless shuttle, potentially killing all aboard.
Cuipernam serves as a major hub for interstellar trade and transportation in the region. Not only that, but planetwide, countless innocents face the prospect of starvation, with the only route off-world effectively locked down.
Analysts, speaking to the Herald, expressed their worry that the Sith and their Apex hired hands intend to take the independent planet for their own.
"There's only one reason the Sith could want such a planet, its civilian population," remarked Professor Drandall, of the University of Kuat "presumably to use them as slaves."
The Sith Order, which has not outlawed slavery, could be trying to secure the planet and subject its entire population to Sith rule.
However, in response to the assault, Jedi Master Sevrin Valtiere, a lead figure of the Jedi Order and a scion of an esteemed Thustran family, has taken charge of the city's defence.
Accompanied by an unnamed Padawan learner, Master Valtiere moved quickly to put together the city's defences once the attack started, locking down Cuipernam to prevent further incursions by enemy forces.
Civilian eyewitnesses on the ground captured harrowing footage of the Apex mercenaries firing upon an unarmed civilian shuttle, leaving residents stranded and vulnerable amidst the chaos of battle.
"They just fired at the shuttle, an unarmed shuttle. Unprovoked. We have no way to escape now, no way at all," lamented one civilian caught in the crossfire.
