Karasym let a half smile creep over his face. Saeryl was smart, he liked that. "You're right. I'm sure you'll be fine," he said. He looked at her once and walked out of the cantina, not saying a word. He wasn't going to tell her he was planning, in case the one who hired them was a force sensitive himself.

When he was a good distance away, he used the force to make himself invisible and then lowered his presence so that no one could detect him via the force. He waited for the hunters to leave with Saeryl, then he would follow behind them. After that, he would invade the mind of the Taung for the location of the leader, and beat them there. He would figure out who the leader was, and make a peaceful attempt to stop him. If that didn't work, he would have no choice but to kill him...

Saeryl smiled to herself as Karasym left, then walked along quietly as she was escorted by the bounty hunters. This would be a good test, seeing if he actually went through with the plan. She was a stranger to him, so she didn't see why he would risk his life unless his morals demanded it. She didn't looke around as they walked, keeping focused on looking ahead.

"So who hired you then, boys? Someone rich and powerful, or just rich?"

She didn't think the bounty hunters knew or would tell her much, but there was no harm in trying. It was always good to learn as much as you could before going up against an enemy.

"There's no harm in telling me, is there? And besides, you owe me for making you all rich."

She nodded matter of factly, a smile still set on her face.

Karasym was probing the mind of the Taung hunter, scanning for any indication for who the guy was that was hunting Jedi. The Taung was strong, there was no doubt about it. But it still wasn't enough as Karasym found a name and face to go along with it. Kryaralyn Je'Descor'Mihala, a slimy Ithorian making a foul name for his people. He knew the Ithorians had a low enough intelligence as it was, but he didn't think they'd stoop that low.

He probe a little longer to find a location, and made his own detour route to get there. It took less time than expected. It was a rogue refugee sector that was abandoned several years ago, refurbished into Kryalaryn's lair. There were several prototypes for ships that didn't look well beyond their time, but a little more advanced than the current technologies. He imagined they were stolen, as Ithorians weren't intellectually capable of constructing such things. They would probably even be perfected in the next three years or so. He imagined they were going to be sold to the Hutts, which made it clear what this nerf herder was; a smuggler.

Karasym made his way through the compound, sneaking quietly through vents and unused halls until he popped down into Kryalaryn's main office. He was the only thing in there. The shocked Ithorian looked at him and then eyed his lightsabers.

"An Ithorian smuggler," he said.

"One would think a Jedi would have more brains to walk into the office of one who's after them," he replied in his own tongue.

"You are the fool here, Kryalaryn. You see, you've disgraced your peoples name, and proven to be utterly incompetent to be selling to the Hutts. Is this why you're after Jedi? You want to let them be enslaved by Bogan?"

"How do you know so much, human?" He asked, standing to his feet.

"A female is about to be brought in. Let her go and lift the bounty on force sensitives, or your slimy head gets severed," he said, appearing behind him in the blink of an eye with a lightsaber drawn at his neck. The door slid open as a group of people started to walk in...

Saeryl tilted her head slightly as they moved into the room, seeing that Karasym was already inside. Apparently he enjoyed making things more difficult then they needed to be. She shook her head as the bounty hunters all drew weapons and trained them on her.

"Now now, there's no need for anyone to die. You've captured a jedi and brought her here, so why don't you just aquire your pay from this delightful Ithorian and be on your way, hmm?"

She kept her eyes on Karasym, just so she'd be ready in case he looked like he was about to go on a killing spree to berate him. The Ithorian had a lightsaber to his throat, so he wasn't really in a position to deny payment to the bounty hunters. Since the bounty was hefty, she hoped that it would be enough to sate their greed and get them out of here in one piece.

"L-Look, I won't sell anyone to the Hutts if you let me live! I swear this!" The Ithorian pleaded. Karasym could sense the panic in his voice, but was willing to let him go.

"Do as the woman says. Pay the hunters. I already killed one over this, and don't want to kill any others, but know it's in my nature to kill out of defense. If you're smart, you'll realize their deaths would be on your conscious. Do you understand what I'm saying, slug?" Karasym said, keeping the blade ever close to the Ithorian's neck.

"Yes! Take the credits, Taung! They're on the desk there! Take them and leave! Fifty thousand for both of them! There's a bonus, now leave!" The Ithorian yelled. The hunters obeyed, took the credits, freed Saeryl, and left.

"Are you done with this bounty on Jedi?" Karasym asked, withdrawing the blade and walking to Saeryl.

"I'm done with you two, not Jedi. Jedi are wanted by Hutts. I capture, I get rich. That's how it works," he said.

"You are really hard headed," Karasym said, pulling a blade out once more and keeping it trained at the Ithorian's head.

Saeryl let out a sigh as the man simply refused to listen to reason. The bounty hunters had been paid, let her free and left without incident, so now it was just them and the Ithorian. She walked forwards up to Karasym, unclipping her Saber from his belt before walking around behind the Ithorian to stand on the other side of him. She trusted him to not move as he had a lightsaber trained on his head. She stood right next to him, bringing her arm up to rest on his shoulder while she leaned in real close to talk to him.

"You don't seem to get it, hun. This isn't a negotiation. We're not asking you to stop, we're telling you. So now you have two options. You can stop, or you can die."

She brought her lightsaber up and tapped his cheek with it, still unlit for now.

"So why don't you go ahead and make the smart choice here. The galaxy isn't going to miss a lowlife like you, but I have a feeling your neck just might miss your head, if only a little."

"If you kill me now, this whole operation will-" He was interrupted as Karasym's blue blade ran through his forehead. The Ithorian simply wouldn't listen. Karasym truly wanted to spare the lowlife in hopes he would get possibly another chance like Karasym himself was given, but it was either the smuggler, or the countless Jedi to die. Even if he still didn't trust the Jedi masters and council, the knights and padawans were still fighting for the Jedi code. He noted their small bit of honor and honesty.

"Shame. He could've been spared. Either or, let's get out of here," Karasym said to Saeryl. He was ready to leave the planet, the more he thought of it. After that, he felt that was his reason for coming to Nar Shadaa in the first place.
