Ask Caves, Crystals and a new friend?

M'haeli was an agriworld, it was mountainous with vast plains separating the mountain ranges, generally unremarkable planet in the Expansion Region, except for one thing, kyber crystals. they could be found in a specific mountain range and that is what Felix was here for kyber crystals.

Touching down on planet on the flattest surface nearest to mountains, Felix would begin his such for nearest cave, letting the force guide him to his direction, and after many hours hiking across the mountain range came across a cave, knowing this was the place, he set up a camp in the cave entrance, as the light was fading and he was exhausted from the hike.

But as he was doing so he footsteps of something or someone, he instinctively went from for his sabers only to find them not there, raising his fist instead ready himself for whatever was coming towards his little camp.

[Emilia Vuth]

Emilia's footfalls caught the attention of the man she was approaching. Despite the stance the man took, the small and young sephi continued forward without any hesitation. Her cold and calculating purple eyes were darkened from the fading light, yet they would still become visible to the man she was approaching.

Since he did seem tense, however, once he was able to see her fully Emilia stopped. Her lithe, near ethereal form was covered mostly by her white robes, including with a pulled up hood. Her gaze was stoic per usual, her stance straightened properly with pushed back shoulders per years of training.

She realized that despite her demeanour most people took one look at her and didn't see a threat. She was a small, young girl. The idea that he might not feel threatened and act was not what made her boldly walk up to this stranger, however. She needed something and this was her opportunity to seize it, regardless if this man was dangerous or not.

"I need a ride on your ship," Emilia's voice broke the awkward silence in her usual stoic tone. She still hadn't saved up credits for her own ship and was using whatever ways she could figure out to move between planets.

Felix tilted his head slightly as he lowered his fighting stance, a confused look on his face. Did this pretty woman just follow him up a mountain just to ask for a ride? he thought to himself kinda stunned at brazen request.

"do you make a habit of following strangers up a mountain so you can ask for a ride?" A small nervous chuckle left him thanks to the strangeness of the situation.

"For all you know I could be a murder, a criminal or even worse, a sith." for her to approach a stranger in the wilderness to ask for a ride is an action most don't consider normal unless under desperate circumstances. He wondered what the problem was she chasing or running from that needed such a measure.

Nothing changed in Emilia's expression as this man started to talk, chiding her for following him. All she did was wait till he finished talking, then spoke, "I asked for a ride, not to be questioned," with a plain and disinterested tone.

Emilia didn't close the distance between them, though she did take note of the cave near them. She'd heard rumors of kyber crystals being deep within them. That started to make her wonder why this man was here near it. Still, she looked back at him. "If you want credits, I'll pay for the ride."

"If you're here for a reason," Emilia's head tipped her head slightly towards the cave. "I can provide help in exchange for the ride. Either or."

Even in their short interaction the sun had dipped down further and an inky darkness started to creep around them. Soon the moon would be their main source of light.

This girl was a bit... odd, he had seen more expression in droids than what he was getting from girl in front of him, there was a coldness in her tone and to be honest seemed she hadn't interacted with many people or maybe she just didn't care for social etiquette, Felix didn't know all he knew so far was she was blunt and straight to the point.

Felix was about to suggest she could help in return for a ride but the girl stole words right from his mouth. "i was actually about to suggest that myself, great minds think a like." A small nervous chuckle escaped him, "because I'm going no where until I get myself kyber crystal"

Felix watched the sun set behind the girl, they were now stuck on this mountain, hiking down it in the dark was not the best of ideas. "do you want to have a rest before we go down into caves? we've got all night so there's no rush."
