BIOGRAPHY
Carmilla grew up as a slave to the Haxion Blood syndicate. With no memories of her parents or home planet, Carmilla only had her elder sister Gabriella to cling to. The two often tossed around for their skills as technicians, but that changed when Gabriella was thrown into the Haxion Fight Pit due to insubordination. Gabriella won her fight and from then on was trained as a fighter with Carmilla as an aid. Carmilla learned slicing, cybernetics, medicine and anatomy from a young age. When Gabriella lost her arm in a fight, Carmilla was the one to save her sister and installed a new arm. The two were inseparable for a decade before a rebellion between the slaves and Haxion members broke out. A rigged sonic grenade went off near Carmilla causing the young girl to lose hearing in both ears. Gabriella shoved Carmilla into an escape pod, and that was the last time she saw her sister.

The escape pod landed in Sullust. There, she was taken in by the native Sullustans and lived there for a year while she physically recovered. During one of her forages into the upper world, she found the ash-rabbits to be adorable. None of them would allow her to pet them, but she was determined to own one as a pet one day. She found their stubborn personalities cute and loved watching them eat marsh fruits. While on Sullust, Carmilla was able to expand her knowledge of slicing and cybernetics by helping others who lost appendages. The newfound freedom wasn’t lost on her, but she didn’t know how to function as a person for months without someone telling her what to do. Eventually, she snuck aboard a merchant ship and has been hopping ever since.

By the time she turned 18, she had dyed her hair bright pink and equipped rabbit ears to replace hearing aids. The ears start where her normal ears would be and extend upwards adding four inches to her short height. During her time world hopping, she had become addicted to spice. She has a preference for the ones to ‘make you feel like you’re in zero gravity’ and ‘have happy dreams.’ She also created an ash-rabbit droid by the name of DRAMA to keep her company.

Ever since her escape, Carmilla has been searching high and low for Gabriella. Carmilla wants to free Gabriella and is saving enough credits to purchase her if still enslaved. Regardless of the law, Carmilla will do whatever it takes.
Personality
Carmilla is usually left to her own devices and fills her time by tinkering with DRAMA or partaking in spice. She’ll talk to herself or DRAMA making most think she’s off her meds (she’s not on meds, but needs to be). She often listens to gliz or sparkle-pop music, and thanks to her mechanical rabbit ears, no one else can hear it. Often drowned in her own world, she has a difficult time relating to people and says whatever comes to mind. She doesn’t any friends given her tendency to job hop when overloading on spice. She’s hoping to get a job in the Apex Military Contractors to get back on her feet.

DRAMA is Carmilla’s most prized possession. Replicating the ash-rabbit, DRAMA stands for Dwarf Rabbit Assault Model Android. The little droid is the size of an ash-rabbit, and helps Carmilla with her technician job. DRAMA also comes with a voice box, and isn’t afraid to give her opinions, often resulting in Carmilla having to apologize or attempt to shut her friend up. She’s feisty and noisy as well.

Carmilla’s reliance on spice hinders her ability to accept the past for what it is, and move forward. She clings to fears without ever confronting them. As such, she usually has a stash of spice on her person or hidden in DRAMA. She usually partakes after a stressful day at work or when everything is becoming too much. She has a habit of combining it with alcohol to the point she gets black out drunk. This has caused stressful situations such as waking up on different stations, agreeing to insane jobs or finding herself in a cantina (sometimes with her accidentally starting a bar fight).

Given her laid back personality, Carmilla’s not one to adhere to strict rules or authority. She has a bad habit of running her mouth before her brain can filter. Carmillla stays away from rich and clean areas believing she’ll leave a smear; whether this is tied to self confidence or she is usually dirtied from her job is unknown. She doesn’t understand politics and believes most problems can be solved with fire and alcohol. Carmilla isn’t afraid of using her fusioncutter to make a point and isn’t afraid of using it on others in cases of self defense.
