| DESCRIPTION | The Ca'oya (Mando'a; lit. "Nighthunter", translated after the predatory creature and namesake of the Runi'naast) is a Mandalorian bladed weapon utilized specifically by the Mando'a Runi'naast. Sleek, lightweight and sturdy, the Ca'oya is unmatched in terms of sheer penetrative power. Using the keen prowess of natural obsidian ore, the Ca'oya is refined in structural integrity by trace amounts of phrik alloy, and is sharpened to a near-molecular edge along the proximity of the blade. This is further enhanced by the use of mullinine alloy, which augments the sharpness and thinness of the edge, allowing it to - with necessary force behind the delivery - penetrate through almost any substance. Although the Ca'oya is a jian, it is physically designed after the style of the traditional Xyphos (Turian Sword). |
