Climate and Terrain: Planetwide the seasons are fairly temperate. The upper half of the planet features warmer climates. The Upper half is divided into two continents, divided by the planetary ocean. The larger continent is that of a grassy, forested continent. The smaller one is a complete desert. There is one prominent desert in the upper portion of the planet. Due to the orbit the lower half is exposed less. The lower half of the planet is comprised primarily of an ocean, with a large tundra being its sole landmass. The entire planet passes through seasons in the order of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. The summer lasts for 8 months, while spring and fall get a month, and winter gets two in the upper half. In the lower half Winter gets 8 months, while spring and fall each get a month on either side, and summer gets two months.
Rotation: One day on the planet is 36 hours long due to the speed of its rotation. The night and day grow and shrink as it passes through its seasons. Because of this the planet only has 20 day months.
Inhabitants: The dominant species of Canteras Prime are humans. No species is known to be indigenous to the planet, but humans discovered it long ago.
Resources: The planet is ore abundant. It has been found that deep veins of Diatium, lommite, and carbon.
Government: The planet features one larger government and several smaller ones over the two continents of Oagis and Qares.

It is home to sprawling cities with buildings extending near the edge of the atmosphere. There are also sprawling farms and forests within its borders. The nation is unified with no smaller states or sectors being recognized. The organization of government is that of city government, and national government. This prevents favoritism, corruption, and ineffective to an extent. The capital of UC is the city of Trekken, located on its eastern coast. The city is widely recognized by most as the capital of Canteras Prime, though other nations dispute this, claiming their right to the capital.

History: Canteras prime was originally uninhabited. During Core Expansion human travelers found the world and founded a colony on it, in the Oagis continent.
There were originally five nations Tekketh, Finzel, Killip, Vargo, and Golleth Pax, each formed due to cultural differences, and religious deviation. The Qares Continent was a prison colony where prisoners were exiled to by all colonies. Through the millennia the nation's coexisted peacefully, with minor incidents and border disputes happening. The nations were united into the Canterian Coalition where they handled border disputes, trading, tariffs, and extradition.
Roughly 475 years ago the leader of the nation Finzel was assassinated The identity of the assassin was never known it was highly believed that Golleth Pax had assassinated him due to a recent border dispute in which the coalition gifted Finzel a significant portion of Golleth Pax. Enraged Finzel and Killip, always close allies that shared a common religion, launched a full on war against the rest of the coalition.
The war spanned fifteen years and cost many lives. It launched each of the nations into poverty as they had to afford to arm their soldiers. Finzel and Killip reorganized into Killzel 10 years into the war and combined their resources, eventually tackling the other nations. A decision was made, as the coalition leaders met once more for peace talks, that the nations would be reorganized into a singular nation. The nation was named United Canteras, and featured a religion combined of all of them.
Through all of this Qares was completely left out. Once the war was over, now branded the unification war, Qares was officially deemed free land. However, the UC still unofficially dumps prisoners there to prevent overcrowding of prisons and keep peace.
Culture: Many of the nations in Qares have their varied religions and deities, many of them founded and created by the ruling party. United Canteras features two primary beliefs that roughly split the nation in half. Half of the nation believes in a single deity that created the universe and galaxy, and that is the force. They believe that Jedi, Sith, and Keyworks commune with this being and that he blesses them through the force. The other half of the planet is atheist. They believe in a scientific origin of the universe and that the force is an unexplained phenomena.
Economy: Since the Unified War the economy has stabliized. United Canteras has enjoyed a peaceful stretch of five hundred years. United Canteras isn't rich, but they aren't poverty stricken either, the poverty rating is 5%. The nations of Qares on the otherhand are stricken by poverty which is often times what dooms their infant nations to fall.Technology: United Canteras is a technologically advanced nation. They feature the same technology that any other average planet would have. The inhabitants of Qares are lacking in much technology at all, partially due to the seemingly everlasting poverty existing in the area.
Satellites: There is one moon, Canteras PS1, as it is scientifically known, or commonly as the moon.
Notable PC's: Vincent Gelos has special ties to Canteras Prime as he has frequented their sprawling tall cities during ventures with his corporate father. He has recently decided to found his corporation on Canteras Prime.
Intent: This planet is to serve as the base of operations for NovaTech Innovation & Design. The corporate and financial offices of NTID will be hosted in a towering building based in United Canteras' own capital city of Tekketh. The planet serves as a favorite to the faction for multiple reasons. For one, the planet's ore presence makes transport and refinery of commonly needed minerals and ores cheaper and easier, as they are able to do it in-house in-planet. The UC Government in Tekketh has agreed to significantly lower taxes on NTID as long as they pay full tariff price for all goods sold or bought through the planet, and the corporation is considered a United Canteras company. This will bring a significant amount of jobs into Tekketh, while also pouring credits into their local economy. In addition, Canteras Prime was always a favorite of young Vincent Gelos who is NTID's Chief Executive Officer. As a child traveling with his corporate businessman father Vincent enjoyed roaming Tekketh's sprawling towers and streets, and exploring the woods and outdoors of the surrounding un-urban area.
