I made my introduction post already, but this is my more formal greeting post. For the past 5 years the majority of my RP was taking place on another Rp forum, it is a roleplay server for Minecraft and now you might know why I am here! I feel like I am outgrowing that area and I wish to move on to more complex roleplay that I can fit in with more. Lord of the Rings is a favorite of mine but I must say my heart lies in the Dark Side of the force, and I will always be a bigger Star Wars fan. Why I didn't join earlier I'm not sure but this is definitely my time and I am thankful to have found such a blissful community. I was unsure I would find anything like this but I feel right at home already. I really look forward to starting up on this new timeline with you all, and once I figure it out I hope to be a Sith Lord on the new timeline. However I'm not sure how I go about getting a teacher and how I actually master force powers. If someone can be so kind to msg me about this I would be most grateful.

So far as finding a teacher for your character goes, all you really need to do is ask around and see if someone might be interested in picking your guy up as an apprentice. Beginning in the new timeline, however, starting on the bottom rung will be optional as the base starting rank for Jedi/Sith/Indie Force users will be Knight (or the equivalent of Knight in the case of Sith and Indies). I'm sure you could still pull off the Master/Apprentice thing though, just have to find someone willing to do it with you is all.

As far as the Force goes, in this timeline you would essentially "level grind" your way from Acolyte to Crusader, and eventually Master, earning access to new powers as you went. From my understanding of how things will function in the next timeline, however, this will no longer be the case. What system will be implemented in place of the "leveling system" we don't know just yet, but Force powers will no longer be intrinsically linked to rank the way they are now.
