NAME: A Droid Called Can (Can for short)
FACTION: Independent (Crew of Yoania)
RANK: Translator/Navigator

APPEARANCE:
Can is about 170 centimetres tall and weighs around 80 kilograms. It is of a typical humanoid shape made out of Durasteel. A few cables are showing here and there, but it seems to be a purely aesthetic choice. While it is rusty on quite a few places, the rest of its body usually shines as if new. Its most noticeable feature are its eyes, which also act as flashlight. Other than that, it seems just like another protocol droid.
ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS:
Can, as previously mentioned, has an ability to produce light from its eyes, which is valuable in dark places. It also has the ability to speak fluently all of the Galaxy's common languages, and a lot of the uncommon ones as well. Besides that, it was programmed to be a navigator for ships, making life easier for pilots. It also considers itself to be the Galaxy's best performer of the "robotic" dance. However, its marksmanship, piloting, decision making and most other skills are all subpar, as it wasn't programmed for pretty much anything else.
PERSONALITY:
After the memory wipe, Can's personality was wiped also, so it is of absence. However, in this short time, Can already managed to develop a few quirks. It always wants to be helpful, sometimes even as much as it hurts the team rather than helping it. Weird obsession of its with dance aside, Can also developed a strange sense of humour, which it keeps at certain percentual value (as well as rudeness, honesty, hostility and fear).
BIOGRAPHY:
Can was an experiment of criminal organization known as the Exchange. While placing bounties and hiring assassins was effective, it was also expensive. And so, Can was created (with a different codename, of course), along with other assassin droid prototypes. However, shortly after activation, Can's unique and faulty programming showed up and its hostile programming commanded it destruction. Can was eventually caught and shut off, but not before destroying most of the other droids and killing multiple members of the Exchange.
The leadership had decided that creating assassin droids by themselves was too big of a feat, as they didn't posses required knowledge and technology, so all the droids that were left, including Can, were stripped of their combat features and remade as protocol droids. However, wiping Can's memory proved to be a difficult feat, due to the unique programming. They had to simply lock his memory from his combat functions or memories, leaving them there. Can was assigned to a smuggler, but shortly after, that smuggler was detained and Can was left alone.
