Call to arms - Mission Pack - FULL

The Jedi Council was once the highest honor among the ranks of the Order. It still is in some respects, but to a warrior and Knight of the Order it is second to their true calling: To defend the galaxy and destroy the evil Sith. Now separated from his seat on the Council, Lord Bau Zo raises an army at their consent to face their enemy.

The call to arms went to all Jedi in the galaxy challenging them to join him. Many answered the call and gathered for the first time on Tython as the Jedi Knights. It was here the crusade began, and no one knew how tough the road ahead would be.

A two pronged attack would be launched to start their campaign. Brave Knights would venture to the edges of Sith space to scout a forward foothold, to test the resolve of the enemy, and to discourage the Sith from further expansion. The second prong was a bit closer to home. The Jedi needed new outposts and new allies to ensure victory. Another set of Knights were dispatched to start the longer journey to victory.

What does that mean? We need to establish a safe holding for our attack Fleet. As of now we are spread out and not organized well for war. Our destination is Halmad galactic West of Dathomir just outside of Republic space. This world is close to the worlds of our enemy and we are still shielded by Republic space slightly. From here we can launch bolder missions against our enemy and show the Republic what action must be taken.

This pack will come ONE mission at a time. WHAT? Yep. Sorry. Same rules apply here to be fair as with other missions.

Mission 1:
Prime Suspect
The largest export from the otherwise unknown world of Halmad is an extremely popular alcoholic beverage called Halmad Prime. Establishing a Fleet in orbit would likely hurt this trade if we don't all work together. Unfortunately, their proximity to both Republic and Sith space has taught them to fight for their neutrality and independence. Convince them to work with us and stop trade with our enemy.

• Objective: Obtain control of the alcohol trade on Halmad.
• Conflict: Primary source of income for locals. Don't cripple their trade and don't make a bad name with a hostile take over. Locals are resistant, possibly violently.
• Reward: One step towards capturing the sector.
• People needed: 3 Jedi Knights

Mission 2:
Bar Tending
The world of Hamlad may be popular for the export of their famous Hamlad Prime, but little know the locals behind the drink. Do the locals drink it? Nope. Every bar in Hamlad serves Hamlad Beta. Why is this? Prime is too expensive and earns them too much in exports to be sold locally. If you want to win the people over, bring Prime to the local bars and turn their hearts towards the Jedi.

• Objective: Deliver Hamlad Prime to the local bars in the capital city. Protect them from customs officials or any other interference.
• Conflict: This thread will be open for others to join and stop us!
• Reward: One step towards capturing the sector.
• People needed: 3 Jedi Knights

Mission 3:
Like a good neighbor..
Nearby our world of interest, Hamlad, is another populated planet. G'wenee is a major trade partner due to its proximity to Hamlad and takes advantage of it to obtain wealth. Their private military is fairly strong to maintain relative independence. We need to make sure they will not threaten our holding at Hamlad. Go to Lay Pa-Sidian on G'wenee and show them we are good neighbors.

• Objective: Ensure that our neighbors will not cause security issues for us. Try to be diplomatic, but we will have to get creative if they prove hostile. There is no room for Sith sympathizers in this mission.
• Conflict: The strongly independent people of G'wenee will resist us verbally and won't be afraid to resist us if we use force.
• Reward: Final step to capture the square
• People needed: 3 Jedi Knights

Given that adds 2 to the 3 (EDIT: for a total of 5), I'm going to say negative on this one. @Bauren or @Elijah Brockway can overrule me if they so choose, but that's my initial inclination.

I know Bauren has more missions to come, we've just had a rush with the start of the TL. Hang in there, and do some non-mission RP (I'm in two other RPs that have nothing to do with these missions). We'll definitely get you on the next pass!

Is anybody organizing specific JK-related threads? I'm a little iffy on where my character would be and what she would be doing at the moment, which is why I wanted to jump into a mission with defined goals and locations.

You can always put things in the Story forums with the Ask label. That's up to you, and that's where I have a couple non-mission related RPs going on right now. Eventually we may place some here in the Jedi forums, but I'll leave that up to @Bauren.
