Written by Jedi Shadow Saeros before he died, Caladglær is a unique, ornately crafted hardcover tome with a circular, sky-blue memory crystal nested in its front cover. Its contents are handwritten in Basic, with further notes and annotations scribbled in Rishii in the margins. Caladglær, roughly translated "Song (or Poem) of Light", contains extremely comprehensive details on the Force abilities Aerokinesis and Force Light.

As Saeros was a Rishii, he was skilled at commanding the winds through the Force to further enable his ability to fly. Not only writing down the basics on how to properly manipulate the air, the Jedi Shadow also etched his own personal experiences and insightful notes in the text. Having also being a practitioner of Force Light, Saeros detailed how to wield the Light itself for both offensive and defensive means. Furthermore, he expressed through his writing the great importance of how a Jedi should continuously live to be able to call upon the Light.

As the author spent much of his time on his home planet, much of the book was written on Rishi in the far outer rim. There he was able to accurately and thoroughly test the uses of Aerokinesis, writing of his fondness of the ability. Saeros' new home, however, was in the Temple on Ossus. During his time between assignments and other outings, he spent his days meditating on the Light and jotted down his knowledge of the ability in Caladglær. After his death, Jedi Austin Wolfe and Galahad Vult uncovered the tome in the temple ruins on Devaron. Though completed, there is space in the rest of the book for others to pass on their knowledge of the Force.

The memory crystal, upon being accessed with the Force, projects an ancient Jedi creed to the mind of the reader, which reads as follows:

I am a Jedi, an instrument of peace;

Where there is hatred I shall bring love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

I am a Jedi.

I shall never seek so much to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

The Force is with me always, for I am a Jedi.
