Technically the goal is already done- to cause rioting and civil unrest on Coruscant.

Now why would there be an argument? Those only stem when one party is being completely irrational while the other strives to show them a more logical conclusion. I'm fairly certain nothing happened here that warrants that.

Perhaps, but the entire purpose of me helping coordinate the riots was to prevent that from happening. The idea was for it to be chaos for the RSF and then cat and mouse for S13. lol, if that can turn into an argument then I can start a fire with ice.

I RP'd that the tear gas was deployed around the protesters to cut off their avenues of escape, not into the crowd. So, the number of individuals that get caught within the gas is minimal: they would have to deliberately run into the tear gas in order to suffer from the effects of the gas.

Reading the recent posts, I got the impression of the latter.

Firing into the crowd with gas is idiotic for crowd control and public view of police forces.

Exactly. The idea is to keep the rioters contained, not to piss them off and force their hands. If we wanted to do that we would have opened fire into the crowds with lethal rounds. As it is, the tear gas was ordered to prevent them from attacking the RSF officers.
