Prudii leaned back in his seat aboard the small cockpit of the Devastator. The Pursuer-Class enforcement ship was a smaller freighter, and her cockpit was no exception. In front of him Prudii could see the celestial pearl that was Nal Hutta. He had been summoned to the planet by Nor'baal Vesajilic, his newfound Hutt Lord. Prudii had just been promoted to the Hutt's personal security advisor, and the head of the KES' security forces. He transmitted his credentials, for once he actually used his actual name and ship name. For almost a year he and the KES had been running from the Hutt debt and the Mandalorian coalition. While he knew better than to feel comfortable in a place like Nal Hutta, he felt safer there. Safe enough to use his actual credentials.

An air traffic official for the Hutt world transmitted him back his landing permits and the hangar he was designated to use. Prudii complied with the transmitted orders and lowered his ship into one of the Hutt's official hangars.

Lowering the ramp he strode out. His armor had been polished, his cape cleaned, and all of his weapons were clearly on display. His armor still bore the scars and burns that he had collected over the years, he was proud of them. Walking across the hangar, Verpine hanging from his back, EE-3 from his chest, and various other weapons dangling he was approached by a protocol droid.

"Ah hello! My name is TC-48 in the service of the honorable lord Nor'baal Vesajilic."

Prudii nodded "I know. Take me to him."

"He is currently on his sail barge..."

"That's the idea tin brain. Take me to him."

The exchange was short lived and the droid escorted him to a speeder. The two of them climbed in and the droid began to pilot away from the hangar.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Approaching the Sail barge, Prudii's speeder set itself down in one of the boarding ramps located on the lower section of the barge. The Mandalorian disembarked the speeder and began towards Nor'baal. He knew his way around a sail barge.
He quickly made his way to the throne room and took a knee before the Hutt,
"Your excellency, you summoned me?"
Two Guards, Gammorreans, snorted as the armored man walked past them and onto the barge, across the main deck which was teeming with gamblers in various states of intoxication. Once again, Prudii was watched by the Bouncers on the main deck, large Gammorreans, nearly a dozen, whos job it was to prevent violence breaking out on the barge, before he passed out of sight into the lounge of the Hutt. The Lounge itself, which contained a bar for the Hutts personal guests was filled with a haze of smoke, the scent of alchohol as well as a small group of scum, smugglers and the like, gambling at the various tables. Around the room, stood dancers, awaiting the summons of the Hutt, or to be called out to perform privately for a guest, while either side of the Hutts throne stood a Gammorrean Guard, with a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter - hired by the Hutt for protection - was seen standing off to the throne right, adorned with a wide array of ranged and close combat weapons.
Nor'baal himself was pouring over the Yachts financial takings, once again gambling income was on the up, and the Hutt smiled to himself, before looking up and seeing Prudii walk in. <Welcome. Take a drink if you wish. I am hoping to discuss in more detail your desire for a new vessel?> the Hutt boomed at the man, hoping he would inform him why he needed the vessel, especially given the mans new found status.
Prudii removed his helmet and clipped it to his belt, trusting his safety in Nor'baal's presence. He approached the small bar and withdrew a clear crystal glass, pouring into it some brownish red ale. Taking a sip he returned to Nor'baal.
"Yes your excellency, I wish to obtain a Haranov-Class Gunship, and it is my understanding you may have the means to acquire one."
Waiting for his subject to pour himself a drink, Nor'baal pondered the mans request for a while, watching as one of the Dancers wandered out of the room, clearly having been requested somewhere on the vessel. A small light on his datapad flashed, showing a number of credits being paid into his account - clearly the Dancer had a wealthy client, Nor'baal made a mental note to have a word with her afterwards, she had potential it seemed.
The man was correct in his assumption that Nor'baal would be able to secure a Haranov for him, however such things would take time, credits and favors - something Nor'baal would need convincing before parting with, especially given his recent deal with the KES.
<And why exactly should I do this for you Prudii, what need have I of a minion with a gunship?> he said. Nor'baal didn't like people making demands, especially people who where his property, of course if Prudii could offer a good reason, and a good amount of credits to make it worth the Hutts while, then he would become more amenable.
Prudii took a sip of his drink and continued "I am your personal security adviser, your excellency, but I lack a powerful enough ship to launch a defense for you, or to evacuate you with should the need arise. I also lack the ability to wage war for you, my lord, with my personal vessel. She is too small, and too underpowered. A Haranov would grant me the ability to better fight for you, and defend you. I have the credits for it your excellency."
There was no doubt that the Hutts security adviser made a good point, coupled with the fact that having his own pet Mandalorian, with a decent vessel, would make Nor'baal look more fierce, the Hutt was being swayed - however his practical side kicked in. The man was paid to defend him, to rough up a few gangs, right now - until the Hutt spoke with the Cartel leaders - the KES slaves could be used only as thugs, not a private army for hire. He expressed his concerns to the man;
<I can see your point, but what need have I of an attacking vessel Prudii? I have defenses of my own, and if I come under attack in space, I simply flee the scene. However, at the same time - if you are willing to pay for such a vessel then I can of course see to getting it for you.> he said <On one condition of course. You are my property Prudii, and as such so is this vessel for the time of your service. You will use it, and own it, but you will lease it to me, and agree to have it co-piloted by my Guards.>
Providing a newly acquired slave with a ship was practically inviting them to run away, something Nor'baal did not want - the loyalist Co-Pilots would see that this did not happen.
Prudii pursed his lips for a moment "I prefer my own crew, your excellency, but I will permit one other guard as a co-pilot, as long as he doesn't interfere with my piloting. Thank you for your generosity, your excellency. I can pay for such a craft."
Narrowing his eyes, in a clear display of displeasure, the Hutt snarled at the man before him. <You will permit what you are told to permit!> barked the Hutt, lashing his tail in anger, causing the gamblers on the nearest table to look up in shock, a few smirking at the man who had earned the Hutts ire. <All your crew will be people I decide Prudii, for you are in no position to make such choices.> he concluded, before settling down.
His eyes focused on the man before him, Nor'baal was clearly unimpressed with the man thinking he could 'permit' a guard of his master onto the vessel. The gamblers, noting their master had calmed, turned to watch the Mandalorians reply, smirks plain to see on their faces as they ordered in a new round of drinks.
Prudii wasn't amused either, and didn't attempt to kiss the Hutt's ass "Your excellency, I am sorry for offense I have caused. I do not fly with those I don't trust. You, certainly, can understand the need for trust and reliance in a crew."
One of the smugglers chuckled at that outburst, whilst another took a quick glance at the door, as if calculating how long it would take for him to make a bolt for it. Meanwhile, Nor'baals anger once again resurfaced, and he slammed his tale so hard into the ground, his Hookah Pipe was knocked over by the force of the impact.
<I do not care who you do or do not fly with boy!> shouted the Hutt <You will do as your are ordered, or you will not receive any ship at all, and I shall bounce you back down from your current rank.>
The Hutt was beside himself, had he not just spared everyone the man knew, and yet still he called out for more. He was of half a mind to have the man removed, and thrown in chains for his manner, but he allowed the Mandalorian Slave another chance to redeem himself.
Prudii hung his head and took a knee "Yes my lord. Of course. My apologies for forgetting my place." He bit back his pride and once more assumed the position of slave. "You are more than generous for arranging such a purchase for me."
Nodding in approval as Prudii once again took up his deferential stance, Nor'baal spoke <Very well, I shall commence my search for the Vessel and get back to you with its cost, you may leave.> he stated directly. Prudii could be flippant at times, and that was something the Hutt would need to iron out of his new slave, but such things took time - adapting to the life of a slave was after all, never easy.
Prudii nodded "Yes M'lord." He pulled his helmet back on and left the Hutt's presence. Pushing past the guards he reentered the droid speeder and was whisked away, back to his ship.
