DESCRIPTION
Designed and manufactured during the Imperial Era, the Koensayr Manufacturing Archon-class Starfighter was designed to be a competitor to the X-Wing. Unfortunately for Koensayr while the Y-Wing was a celebrated ship among the Rebel Alliance and played a curial role in the defeat of the Empire.Although the Archon-class would be picked up in low numbers during the early days of the Rebellion, finding some use in some rebel cells, the Archon-class wouldn't gain as much traction and would lose out to the venerable X-Wing, which would go later go on to destroy the Death Star. After the Empire era, the Archon-class would be discontinued, and in the meantime the X-Wing would go on to have many newer, updated models that would be used by the New Republic and beyond.
The Archon-class is a good, decent ship, almost equal to the original Rebellion-era X-Wing, minus two laser cannons.
