(( No one said they were inside the temple, just near the ruins of it. If anyone else would like to enter this thread, they need to have been involved in the clean-up at this very moment. They will also need to PM me for an invitation, as this is OBVIOUSLY a closed thread. Why you had to disrupt it instead of PMing one of us is beyond me, but hey, whatever. From this point on, I would ask no OOC posts be made on this thread. If you have an issue, create a thread in the OOC section for it or message one of us. ))

You're in the Jedi Temple, which is actively being rebuilt at this point. There is no way you Dark Jedi can have a closed thread in there, it makes no sense.

It'd be the same as having two Jedi have a closed thread on Ando Prime (the Bogan HQ). It just wouldn't happen.

If you want the thread to continue in the Temple/around the temple grounds, you'll have to have it open for Jedi.

I asked Fyrefly to join. When the ruling was made that the thread had to be open, I was unaware that you still wanted to decide who could join and who couldn't.

Tbh I don't see why you have a problem. I RPed the message being sent to Fyrefly's character:

His thumb flicked forward and pushed a button that would send a signal, a ping, to a number on his instant-contact list.

And someone is coming to pick us up, whether you want Fyrefly in the thread or not. Ru offered to send a speeder himself(also I don't see you declining him entry...). Rather than an NPC coming in and having to be RPed, why not have a PC?

Right now, it seems to me that you're just trying to use any excuse you can to get your way - which is keeping Noah, and apprehending Nikoj.

This was a closed thread to begin with. And instead of being allowed to edit the setting, I was told Jedi had to enter. You have your Jedi there. Now, instead of pulling some cheap bullshit and having Bogan swarm the planet, Nikoj is just fleeing.

I do not want anyone else in this thread.

I've conceded enough, and I've been more than patient up to this point with everything other people want to do in my thread. No more.

You may escort Noah off-planet via NPC ships. Nikoj, however, is long gone.

Do you have issues with that?

You would have been allowed to change the setting, Nexus said as much, but you decided not to and as such the thread is Open for Jedi.

I do have an issue with escorting him off-planet via NPC ships, actually. I'd rather interact with my PC apprentice.

And Nikoj isn't long gone. Or is that you making a ruling on that because it's your thread?

Middy: I spoke with Ols in PM the other day, and am more than fully aware that Nikoj will be followed. In fact, I expected it from the beginning, because capturing and interrogating a Bogan who managed to get onto Jedi lands would naturally be decently high priority.

It's my understanding that the thing that's really caused a stir is the inclusion of another character. I believe that Ru discussed things with Midnight and lead him to believe that nobody else would join if I didn't try to bring other Bogan in.

However, given that the thread is essentially open based on Admin ruling, there's not much that can be done either way. So, I think that it would be best to chalk this one up to experience for both Midnight and myself. I would personally love for us to reach some middle ground; but the Rp has progressed rather naturally thus far, and I'm actually happy with it.

Let's just get back to the RP, and enjoy it. I love a challenge. >.>

However, the thread's progression will be us three being picked up by a Jedi padawan flying a shuttle. It's possible for me to NPC the padawan, but I'd rather use the opportunity to RP with my actual padawan (who was also one of Zinthra's former padawans) as it is an extra story element, and valuable interaction.

From the looks of it, the ruling to open the thread is well justified. We go about this mainly for assisting new member relations with the community as a whole, since most Story threads tend to be anything but open for newbies; lots of opportunities to jump in on the RPs, amrite? This thread has very little reason to be closed due to the setting (as mentioned), so please handle the few extra characters. You can limit the total number of people that can enter, as long as it is reasonable enough to not conflict with the "open thread" status.

In fairness, this has nothing to do with new member relations. If there was a miscommunication, then that miscommunication could've happened with anyone. It's unfortunate, but it happens. Don't let yourself fall into the new member victim mentality. :)
