I will first respond to some of what the carebear (aowc) has said:

Add it all up and it leads to a very large, generic hatred for all things Jewish, and all things American (Goes Hand in hand. The biggest supporter of Israel is America) Still looks like you have been poisened with American / Israeli propaganda its like you have ignored the flip side of the coin. You havnt explored the foundations of why there is a hatred for israel. and of america (but i guess the latter isnt as relevent as the first)

I can understand easily why there is hatred for America. I do not have to study Iran. When you are on top, you will always have haters. I learned that by being so fly...
The Muslims hate the Jews, I understand that too. It is nothing new...
Also, if America did not support Israel, it would no longer exist. And I think it is key for America to have an ally in the heart of the Middle East. I think it is good that Christians from all over the world can go to the Christian holy sights in Israel without having to adhere to radical muslim laws, like women having to cover themselves, etc...

I will go out of my way and say this: Israel should be wiped off the map. It should. So should phalestine. Throw everything out and build a new Nation where Jews and Muslims can live together lol. or.... if that Fails, Partition the country Equally with a shared Capital of Jerusalem, straight down the middle.

This just shows how ignorant you truely are...

The day America uses a Nuke on iran (or anyone for that matter), is the day america ends as a super power. Missles dont win conflict kid. Air doesnt either.
I wasn't talking about nukes. I just wanted to point out that it didn't matter how many millions of troops Iran has, we have planes and missiles. We would fuck there shit up if we were force to.

As for Bac's comments:

WOW! Dude, I'm so glad I was able to meet you
Awww how sweet Bac, I'm glad i met u too... :p

Ok so to clarify my comments about America's military. You are right. We are strectched too thin right now. Gates said as much. But this supports my claim that we have militarymen all over the world. They are not all in Iraq and therefore they are stretched out. If we got the military from South Korea, and other places we would maybe have enough forces to make a coalition against Iran, if they tried some stupid shit. But they won't ... like I said before they are only seeing how far they can go. Ahmadinejad is just pushing our buttons, trying to piss us off. It won't work...

BTW: I heard that the people of Iran may not support Ahmadinejad as much as they did before. I would not be surprised if he does not stay in power for long.

To be honest, I am more scared of Hugo Chavez right now, but that is off topic...

Wrong again. Saudi Arabia has vast quantities of gold and silver, as do many other nations in the Middle East. Lebanon used to be a paradise before it was war torn with Hezbollah and many other conflicts. And, as Hassan reminded me earlier, Dubai is an amazing place to go.

Ok... gold, silver, and carebear mentioned exotic fruit....
All those are valuable. But you are retarded if you do not agree that the value of the tons and tons of barrels of oil they have under the ground, is superfluously more valueable. All the rich people in the middle east are not rich because of dates, or gold ore, or silver ore ... they are rich because of OIL. Bin Ladin's family = rich. Why? ... OIL! That is what I meant by my previouslt ignorant mention of Middle east being a wasteland without oil.

Favorite line from this quote: Lebanon used to be a paradise before it was war torn!

DUH! This is the story for almost all places Muslim. It used to be paradise, then their steady diet of hatred led to their generational habit of warfare, which led to their legacy of: it used to be a paradise before it was war torn.

And as for Dubai ... where you think they got all their money ??? to build the majestic capitol and make islands shaped like each country in the world. Oh yeah ... they can build islands. They are oil-rich!

I can visit a tropical island = hood-rich
I can build a tropical island = oil-rich

Bac, the Jewish hate among Iran and many other countries has been around for over one thousand years. It's not as easy as just "getting a grip" when hate has been in your culture for that long.

Did I say “getting a grip” would be easy? No. This is the second time that you have read something that I have said in this thread and assumed something incorrectly. The fact that after one thousand years they can’t get a grip shows how unreasonable some Iranians and some Jews are. Remember, when we talk about Iran we’re referring to the people who still hold a grudge against Alexander the Great for conquering the Persian Empire over two thousand years ago.

The thing with blindly supporting Israel, which we do quite often, is that it leads to deep routed hatred. What I saying is that when the western world blindly supports Israel, much like we did during the Israel-Lebanon War back in 2006, people start to hate the western world more and more. I find that to be justified, yet unreasonable at the same time. I find it to be justified because it was Palestine and it was converted to Israel by the United Nations, but at the same time the world at large did create Israel and one of the golden rules of thumb is that “majority rules”.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Feris Kai @ Apr 5 2007, 01:22 PM) </div>
This just shows how ignorant you truely are...

Ignorant? Oh, dear God. Right back at you! One of the sole reasons that the United Nations approved the United Nations Partition Plan was because it was in the wake of the Holocaust and they felt that the Jewish people needed a home. Now, that’s somewhat justified, but what they did was give the Jewish people 55% of the land and the Arabs 45% of the land. The Arabs were later then forced under Israeli control and the West Bank and Gaza Strip were occupied by Israel for DECADES. The Arabs and the Israelis BOTH deserve to have land there, which is why I believe it should be split fifty/fifty. If that doesn’t work, then as Hassan said we would have to work INCREDIBLY hard to get them to co-exist. Granted that would not be easy, but if everyone was willing to compromise then it could work.

I would also like to point out that you did not actually write out a rebuttal to Hassan’s point splitting Israel, but rather simply said “this just shows how ignorant you truly are...”. In a debate, it’s best to actually reply with by making a point rather than avoiding answering the question.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Feris Kai @ Apr 5 2007, 01:22 PM) </div>

Iran also has planes and missiles. They also have Anti-Aircraft technologies. Don’t just assume that it will be like “PAKEW PAKEW PKAEW RARRR RARR ARRRGGGHHHH FUCK YOU GOT ME!” Iran would be a bitch and a half to fight.

Now, you said that “it didn’t matter how many millions of troops Iran has”. That’s 100% not true. If we were to attack them in the air and with missiles then they would send those millions of troops as one massive wave into Iraq and into Israel and begin obliterating every enemy they could find. If we were to attack Iran, we couldn’t just assume that it would be Iran vs. the United States. It would be Iran launching a blitzkrieg against everything and anything they could find.

You really think removing troops from South Korea would be a viable option? I can just see Kim Jong Il’s eyes lighting up if we were to ever do that.

It’s entirely possible, but we also have to remember that people were saying the same thing about Adolph Hitler back in the 1930s. I don’t think I have to remind anyone how that one turned out.

That doesn’t mean anything. If he has a nuke then no one save for those closest to him could touch him. All he would have to do is implement MAD and he’s set for life.

Hugo Chavez is all talk. You want to talk about someone who doesn’t have the balls to do anything? We’ll talk about Hugo Chavez. The only reason he’s being so outspoken and is able to implement his socialist agenda is because he knows the big bad United States can’t and won’t do anything to stop him.

Yes, of course it is more valuable. However, we were simply pointing out that the Middle East would NOT be a vast wasteland were it not there because there are so many other things there that are valuable as well. If there was no oil, the Bin Laden’s would probably be rich due to gold or silver.

I don’t remember my classical world history books ever saying that most places in the Middle East were a paradise before being war torn, considering the fact that they have almost always been war torn. However, I could be wrong. If I am, please direct me to a link to read so I can admit I was wrong in that respect.

Wrong. Oil reserves in Dubai make up less than 1/20th o of the economy of Dubai and it only represents a small portion of it’s income. Dubai’s wealth comes from tourisms, ports (it has the largest man-made harbor in the world) and it is developing a great deal of technology and finance industries now that the Dubai International Financial Center is up. There is also a HUGE real estate industry in Dubai. Granted it used to be an oil-reliant economy, but it’s not anymore so they’re not raking in the money from that anymore. I don’t foresee Dubai becoming a vast wasteland anytime soon, even though the money they made from oil will probably be gone very, very soon in favor of commercialism.

Lucky. Very lucky indeed.

I see nothing wrong with asking questions about the Iranians. So they went onto a ship and asked them what they knew about the Iranians? Big deal. They were on a mission from the United Nations, and there's no rule saying you can't ask questions.

it is not practical and would never happen in a million years. There will never be an offer great enough for the muslims ... they will ask for more than the jews are willing to give. There is a legacy of tension between them two peoples and the divided state idea could never happen... At least I don't think so. But what do I know? I recant any previous statements about people being ignorant, it was rude and I didn't mean it. You guys are far from ignorant.

And so am I :harhar:

Maybe some of the hate but not most of it. Most of it is from the way America acts both individually and as a nation. When the rest of the world meets Americans its generally one of two groups soilders or tourists depending on where you live in the world. Well we can all easily see why soilders would be hated since they are generally fighting at least some of the people in the country they are in, but there is some good will there as well since they should also be protecting others in the country. Now America tourist are where most of the 1st and 2nd world countries experience Americans and generally speaking they are stuck up jackasses who think that we should somehow be the most thankful people in the world since they decided to come to our country, they expect everything to be just like in the states and to be treated better than everyone else, rarely follow rules such as times for tourist trips and think they know everything about something or somewhere because they done or seen it once. Now this is a vast generalisation but you can see why American Tourists are generally hated around teh world.

Right. again your being ignorant.

History lesson for you:

306px-1947PartitionPlan.PNG

This is what the original plan was. The deal was split up phalestine create a israeli state within the borders of phalestine. The two soverign nations would then have a SHARED Capital of Jerusalem. Right now this is what the area looks like:

374px-Is-wb-gs-gh_v3.png

Right now, through an ongoing process, the palestinians within the jerusalem area are being pushed out of jerusalem, towards its outer areas, even though there is supposed to be a shared capital. You call this fair? please.

The whole region is a mess. There never will be a solution untill mutual equality is reached. for both palestine and for israel. My Idea is a solution. Your views just supports an ongoing conflict, where both Israeli's and Palestinians die.

Im pretty certain that if the original parition plan was offered, the palestinian people, as a whole, would accept it. Why wouldnt they? it would improve their situation atleast 1000 times. ¬_¬

And it aint carebear. Its Jihadist Bear. got it? :p

Thank you, im here all week :p

Might aswell get this out of the way...

Which is pathetic, really. It’s not like the United States holds a grudge against Great Britain, Mexico, Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany or most other countries we’ve been at war with. It’s called “get a grip”.

you have to remember, this has been going on for a very bloody long time. and its of a religious nature, not a national one. Grudge goes deep, but it has just escalated severly with the poor handeling of the british mandate of palestine and the UN Parition plan of 1947.

Fiction:

1. The class of literature comprising works of imaginative narration, esp. in prose form.
2. Works of this class, as novels or short stories: detective fiction.
3. Something feigned, invited or imagined; a made-up story.
4. The act of feigning, inventing or imagining.
5. An imaginary thing or event, postulated for the purposes of argument or explanation.

SOURCE: Dictionary.Com

I’m sure there’s a word in Arabic and Persian for “fiction”.

Yep your right:

قصة, أدب قصصي, خيال, رواية, تخيل
:p :p :p :p :p :p

what the fuck that says, i have no clue =|!!!

Yes, but as I said “get a grip”. Holding grudges is childish, at best.

:p as said above, a religious grudge is different to a national one.

Yeah, but come on. There are better ways to do it then to cry about things that happened (or didn’t happen, in the President’s opinion) sixty years ago.

Didnt cry, just took a dig at the jews. Come on. whats the best way to piss off a jew. Answer is: Say the holocaust was fiction / didnt happen / over exagerated.

I completely agree, but you know that’s not what he was saying. He was angling for either the forced relocation or the extermination of the Israeli people.

=P Well he did have a minor point. Basically he sees the UN's solution to the jewish plight as a way of dumping their problems on "us" (us being the collecting muslim population of the middle east). i dont know. meh its an iffy subject.

Personally, even though it was the best place possible for the jewish nation to establish, i still think there was a sinister goal within the UN for the exact placement of israel within the middle east.

Bush has not caused the deaths of nearly one million people. It’s more like half of that, though that is still an incredibly large number. However, you have to remember something: Bush means well. He’s just incredibly arrogant and has the IQ of a grapefruit and is being controlled by the bureaucrats and bootlickers that he has surrounded himself with.

10,000 + in afgahnistan
between 396,185 and 945,842 in iraq alone
2500 in lebanon/israel during the summer conflict.
4000 dead in somalia
3500 Coalition (UK USA mainly) dead in iraq.

While these may not be 100% accurate... god damn thats a bloody high figure. Blood On bush's hands =|.

there are a few points i missed out, mainly due to me being tired, or they didnt require a response. bac if you want me to address any missed out points, simply just quote them =)

And its time to address the other person :p

I can understand easily why there is hatred for America. I do not have to study Iran. When you are on top, you will always have haters. I learned that by being so fly...

I can probably quote you atleast 50 different things for why the world hates america. and 99% of the listed reasons would not be as a result of being "the best" or "at the top".

Off the top of my head:
 1. Unconditional Backage of israel
 2. Lebanese / Israeli war - Had the ability to stop the war, to stop the civilian slaughty (and the israeli army getting pwned) yet they dragged it on for two weeks.
 3. Forcing other nations to do its own dirty work
 4. Globel warming
 5. Most Polluting nation on the planet
 6. War on iraq (for no reason other then oil)
 7. Serial Liers
 8. War of afghanistan (excuseable though, you guys wanted blood, but did it in the wrong way)
 9. etc..
I wasn't talking about nukes. I just wanted to point out that it didn't matter how many millions of troops Iran has, we have planes and missiles. We would fuck there shit up if we were force to.

meh bac addressed this point. Also anydamage you would do to iran, iran would do 1000 times back. Why? how? Simple. as previously stated, iran can fuck up the supply which you rely on the most. Oil. Iran has the ability to destroy every single refinary, every single oil rig, every single oil platform in the middle east. What would this do? This would cut the worlds oil supply by about 40%. America would be fucked for a few months atleast. No question about it.

DUH! This is the story for almost all places Muslim. It used to be paradise, then their steady diet of hatred led to their generational habit of warfare, which led to their legacy of: it used to be a paradise before it was war torn.

Which again shows how you dont know about the subject.

The Civil war was motivated/influenced/started by elements of your doing.

(Israel, PLO).

- In simple english. If it wasnt for the mess in Phalestine / Israel, the PLO would never be in lebanon. Without the PLO, there wouldnt of been a civil war. The mess you guys created, spread all over the place, including Lebanon.

Thanks btw for raising that point, all it did was shoot yourself in the foot. Not for the first time either.

WOW ... Jihadi Bear those are some nice maps you got there. And you found the Arabic word for fiction. You are on point, bro!

My Idea is a solution. Your views just supports an ongoing conflict, where both Israeli's and Palestinians die.

How exactly do my views support the ongoing conflict? How am I supporting an ongoing conflict just by call it an ongoing conflict? Me and my views have nothing to do with Israelis and Palestinians dying...

I can probably quote you atleast 50 different things for why the world hates america. and 99% of the listed reasons would not be as a result of being "the best" or "at the top".
I only saw eight...

But dont waste your time posting 50 reasons they hate us ... you have already proved your point.
War with Iran right now is not an option for US and by association, UK. I concede this. They have legitimate and reasonable feelings of strong dislike or hatred for the US/West. I just have the same position as Bac, to get over it ... (ala Get A Grip), but maybe that is easy for someone who grew up in America to say. I have experience much higher standards of living than those of Iran and other Middle Eastern countries. They live in poverty and curse America, partially because they belive it, and part because they are told to hate us (especially thru their media).

I know Jihadi Bear pointed out our Pro western pro israeli media, but our media does not insight hate. At least it doesn't in me...

I rant! I rant!

What do I know?

Yes, they do. Unless me and Hassan have both misunderstood you, you obviously support the fact that Israel should remain as it is and that the Palestinians should not receive their own state or share Israel with the Jews. By supporting keeping Israel as it is now, you are in fact supporting the ongoing conflict. The reason there is a conflict is because of the fact that Palestine was taken from the Arabs and given to the Jews by the United Nations. If you support that action, then you are indirectly supporting the conflict because the conflict will not end until new borders are set that are mutually beneficial to the Jews and the Arabs.

After reading what Hassan said in response to me saying that, I have realized that it is somewhat arrogant to say “get a grip”. Granted, I do still think they should try to “get a grip”, but I was simply thinking in terms of a national dispute when, in fact, it is a religious dispute. As Hassan said, a religious grudge is different than a national one.

Don’t think that they curse America because they live in poverty. It is due to a vast amount of reasons, specifically the unconditionally/blind backing of Israel and a military presence, including a war, in Muslim holy lands.

I know Jihadi Bear pointed out our Pro western pro israeli media, but our media does not insight hate. At least it doesn't in me...

Of course the media doesn’t insight hate. It’s just dangerously biased and does not let us see the Arab, Persian and Muslim sides of the issue. All they do is show protestors in the Middle East chanting “death to America” without providing reasons as to WHY they are chanting “death to America”. It leads to the American people being ignorant, which leads to more hatred of America throughout the world.

If you support that action, then you are indirectly supporting the conflict because the conflict will not end until new borders are set that are mutually beneficial to the Jews and the Arabs

That a big stretch IMO...

Nothing I have done since the day I was born has taken away a thing from those people. I am not the UN, and I am not AMERICA ... they don't even know me bro!

I was just pointing out that poor people are angry anyways, and I didn't make them that way. I just think their own people and totalitarian rulers have cause this poverty to remain so rampant and widespread. They can blame America if they want...

I just don't think America made Arabs and Iranians poor, if anything we made them rich from all the oil we consume... Of course you could always point to a moment in history and say "that's why they are poor and it's the West's or America's fault", but I just don't buy it...

I realize they have other reasons to hate us (I have already said they have legitimate reason to hate us...), I just think that their hatred is fueled by their impoverished living situation, which is kept impoverished by their own governments which may be corrupt.

Wow ... first time I heard that watching the news makes you ignorant! LOL
I agree our media has an extreme bias, thats why I try to watch international news on cable. I love that I live in a country where you can find un-biased news.
