The last commander under the fallen Imperial grand admiral Vaxus walked the ruins of a long dead clan of a group long forgotten, though she was unaware of the whole story. All she new was there was a force sensitive to be found, and that was all that mattered. What made things especially interesting is the amount of activity this barren area of ruins had been getting. She'd been briefed of a girl and a Mandalorian having been there not more than a day ago, and a rather suspicious man made it clear of his force sensitivity when a thief attempted to to nab his rather oddly shaped dual blaster pistols.

What made matters worse were reports that even the jedi had become interested by these comings and goings.

"I'll find something, I just know it." she gave a wicked smile, her default gear glistening from the sun, among something she'd been wanting to try for awhile now. 10 Duranium spikes for her utility launcher sat in a special holster on her belt.

"I always do." she said walking into what was left of a scorched building. It seemed rather sturdy despite it's popular appearance.

Talia knew she was being followed. As a result, she decided to set up shop along an outcropping of trees, observing the scorched building from a distance. There had been a lot of attempts on her life recently, and this time she decided to become the huntress instead of the hunted. Talia saw the Sith woman creeping towards a building. It was hard to miss someone when their gear was ‘glistening in the sun’ of course.

Without hesitating, she waited till the woman’s back was turned, having no reason to believe anyone was outside the building and talking to herself. Talia acted quick, switching on her jetpack and leaning forward so she dashed forward in the blink of an eye. Having already been close by, it took her no time to reach the woman from behind before she entered the building. Simultaneously, she activated an EMP grenade set to detonate upon trigger (no delay) which would fry both her and the woman’s gears. Difference was, Talia had spare mags for her guns and the woman didn’t. Talia also was well prepared for melee without explosives. As the woman had been focused on going into a building, there was no way for her to move quick enough to get out of the radius of 5 meters. Talia’s jetpack would place her next to her within the blink of an eye. She purposely came in from a slight angle so even if she whipped around to try and shoot Talia (and she'd have to know Talia's coming, draw her gun, aim properly), she wouldn't be able to hit anything essential before the EMP fried her guns or Talia diverted.

Talia’s hand immediately went to a saber hilt, skidding to a pause only arm’s length away from the woman. She didn’t attack yet, fully prepared to react to whatever the woman had prepared. The Mandalorian also hadn’t come alone, a squad of commandos on standby to eradicate anyone else that would intervene.

With virtually every single bit of gear on the woman deactivated, Talia knew she posed no further threat. Unfortunately, Talia wasn’t the forgiving type. With the recent issues with people attempting to kill her, she no longer had any mercy left. She was already inside the woman’s guard by the time the EMP had done its job.

As her hand had been creeping towards the saber hilt on her hip, Talia completed that motion. As she skidded to a halt right by the woman, Talia ignited the saber and plunged the blade directly into the woman’s torso. Her other hand was free to deflect any last second attempts to block the attack. However, as the woman had essentially done nothing yet, it meant she was severely disadvantaged to block any incoming attacks.

With the light armor the woman had on, the saber would easily cut through her. Talia had no desire to hold back, aiming to drive the blade directly through the woman.

Talia's saber cut through her like a hot knife through butter. Once again, she was disappointed by yet another idiot showing up to hunt her and having nothing to show for it. Oh well. Talia took the explosives and guns off the dead body.
