The cameras cut in to the visage of the Empress, now a well-known face within the galaxy. Her face was grim in preparation for the severity of the announcement she would make today, but it was time for people to understand that the Empire was not going to sit by in stagnation. For their subsequent treasonous actions, they have each been executed, she said, letting the words sink in. There were no further details that she provided, and that was on purpose. There was room for speculation and fear. If she would remove her entire Council for failing to perform their duties appropriately, there was no telling what she would rain upon those who stood in her way.

Senin stared wide eyed at the holoscreen of his bedroom on the Ravelo estate in Lay Pa-Sidian. He was watching his favourite holonovela "Senhora do Destino" when it was interrupted by an announcement of the Empress. The entire Council was executed by treason. All these high ranking members of the Empire were killed, even the Sith Lords. He couldn't believe it.

When he agreed to join the Sith Order, Senin was excited with the possibility of having so much power on his hands. In his gullible mind, he used to think that when he finally became a Lord, no one would face him. He would still need to pay obedience to the Empress, but his position would be more or less secured.

However, years after his introduction to the Order, he came to understand that nothing was certain when you are a Sith. Senin still remembers what happened with Jade after her failure. At the time, he thought that it only happened because she was an Acolyte. He knew that they were considered disposable, but this reality only hit him hard when he saw what happened with her.

Even then, he still believed that the Sith Lords would be safe of such punishments. But now they were all dead. All of them. If the Sith Lords could be so easily disposed of, which future would he have? Would he once again live fearing that each day would be his last? It was exactly how his life was when he lived in the streets.

Senin was so scared with this news, that he barely registered that one of the Sith Lords killed there was Artorigas. He should be happy because of it, but then he remembered how Malou should be feeling about the death of her former Master. The G’weneen picked his Datapad and started to make a call to her, asking if he could make her a visit. Perhaps she would like a friend with her at this moment.

In reality, Senin was doing it because he wanted a friend next to him. Someone that would at least give him some comfort after he finally understood how being a Sith is to be always walking a knife-edge.
