After getting the information that he could. TYcho had managed to track the smugglers responsible for stealing goods that were meant to go to a town to a cavern they have been using to stash away the goods they have stolen until they can smuggle them off the planet. Hopefully the smuggler gang has not managed to get the stolen goods off the planet yet.

Now there are two problems. First he has no idea how big the smuggler gang is, and two how big the cavern. If the cavern is huge then the smugglers will be spread out and able to get the goods to a new location while others engage with the rebels. Standing outside the cavern Tycho waited for two rebels to show up. He had sent a coded message out to other GA members asking for one or two to come assist him when he realized that this job will be too big for him to tackle alone. Granted he does not know how big the gang is as far as numbers but questioning people who have come across this violent smuggler gang and lived have told him numbers that are concerning.

Standing behind a boulder to hide himself from the single guard that stood outside the cavern opening, but in a way that allowed him to safely observe while he waited for his comrades to show up. Tycho watched as two more guards, bringing the total up to three, joined the one guard. Well he will have to see if anymore show up but so far it looks like entering the place will be easy. If luck is on their side. His favorite rifle, his Westar Carbine is ready for when the mission is officially ready to begin.

[Levi Solus]

Levi had come on short notice, having been "in the area" and looking to finally do some worthwhile rebel stuff. Patrolling the Holy City on Jedha and beating up gang members tended to get boring, and he felt like he was barely making any impact on the war as a whole. It was time to actually be useful, rather than just stumble around waving his lightsaber like an idiot. He'd also started carrying a collapsible staff for that reason exactly—it prevented him from always announcing himself as a Force sensitive, and also gave him some much needed practice for combat with a double-bladed lightsaber.

Though he wasn't sure who exactly he'd be meeting, he'd shown nevertheless, clad in a dark cream robe, the hood pulled up. He noted a figure hiding behind a boulder from the three guards, and deduced that it was likely who he would be helping today. When the man turned out to be Tycho, he felt some relief wash over him—he wouldn't be fighting alongside strangers. It was also the perfect chance to show the lieutenant what he was made of.

Which only made him slightly nervous. Levi had fekked up once before, on Jedha. He'd hate to do it again and slowly turn into the black sheep of the rebellion. Gulping down his anxiety, he approached Tycho slowly, making sure to avoid being seen by the guards.

"What are we doing today?" he whispered, seeking some sort of on-the-go brief.

[Vardon Galland]

Ryloth. Just as it happened, Vardon Galland had found himself on the planet when he received the coded call to arms. Naturally, he'd be responding to it, seeing as he was relatively close to the location from a galactic perspective and was anxious to work with his rebel allies. After having been dropped off fairly far from the location, the padawan had made his way towards it by foot.

Clad in his normal armour with both vibroknives and lightsaber hanging off of his belt, the Thyferran could eventually see a few figures in the distance. With his view slightly obstructed, he could at least see two people, maybe more standing by the cave entrance and then another two hidden behind a large rock. Careful not to reveal himself to the people by the entrance, Vardon made his way towards the rock - the rebels often seemed to be the ones hiding after all. Besides, one of the hiding figures seemed familiar, although putting a finger on from where proved to be too difficult.

With his approach putting the rock in between himself and the guards by the cave entrance, staying hidden in the rather bright armour didn't prove to be as difficult as it would've been otherwise. Without knowing how far into the conversations his supposed allies had gotten, the padawan simply raised his hand in a stale wave and let out a "Hi" which was barely audible, even for himself.

[Tycho Draykon]

Tycho looked to Levi smiling as he recognized the younger man easily. Though he didn't recognize Vardon when the other jedi approached hi right after Levi.

The criminal looked to both of them but glanced over to the three guards to make sure they aren't approaching. It looked like the three were deep in a conversation and will not be approaching. Yet. Looking to the other two he will give them a quick briefing, "There is a gang of smugglers that have been stealing from supply trains that were bound for a town. Our job today is going to be going in there and taking out the smugglers while securing the goods that were stolen. Any questions?" The man will pause briefly before continuing, "We have three guards guarding the entrance. Each of us will focus on taking out one of the guards. I suggest we hit as quickly as we can. If we can take them out before they can raise the alarm we can get in there before anyone notices." He hoped that the two are catching onto what he is saying. He knows that Levi has experience in military operations. But the criminal is not sure about the other jedi.

The man hoped that they can get into the cavern without alarms being raised.

[Crix Dolan (TL8)]

Crix was clad in his mechanics overalls and elbow deep into the console of his trusty ship, The Highwind when Peetwo came rolling into the cockpit, chittering something about an incoming message from the GA.

"Uh, I'm a little busy here buddy. They can wait a sec--" he started, but the little droid cut him off.

Crix's attention had been glued to the various wires he was trying to fuse together, but at the mention of Tycho he immediately stopped what he was doing, "Why didn't you say so! play the message!"

If astromechs could roll their photoreceptors Peetwo would have. With an annoyed little warble, the droid played the message. Crix listened carefully, Tycho was looking from some help with a group of smugglers. He chewed his lip as he considered the information. He quickly tucked the wires he was working on back into the console and set a course for the coordinates Tycho had attached to his message.

"Looks like we're headed to Ryloth little buddy." Peetwo whistled excitedly rocking back and forth on his tracks, before connecting to the XS-100 and prepping them for the jump to lightspeed.

A few hours later, Crix was clad in his Scout Armor. His gunbelt carried his Quickdraw blaster on his thigh, his DH-7 on his hip and his Brylark Lightsaber. He slung a leg over one of his 15-A Locust Swoops. Peetwo clearly wanted to come, but Crix stopped the little guy.

"Sorry bud, I need you here. keep the ship ready to go just in case. If smugglers are involved we may need to run them down." Surprisingly the little droid didn't argue and Crix lowered the loading ramp. He fired up his swoop and headed to the rendezvous point.

Crix set down a few clicks out from the meeting point. The last thing he wanted to do was draw unwanted attention to the mission before it started. He was apparently a little late to the party, but that was kind of his thing at this point. He kept low to the ground and carefully joined the party.

"Gents," he said greeting the party. Tycho was the only one he knew, but the other two were clearly Jedi, how experienced they were was a different story. "Heard you needed a little help pinning down a smuggling caravan. What's the plan, pal?" he said to Tycho. This was his friends Op. He trusted the former criminal with his life. Together they'd freed Wookies and destroyed a Nightsister mother, these smugglers were in trouble.

"Oh, I'm Crix by the way."

[Tycho Draykon]

Tycho was about to initiate the attack when he noticed someone that is way too familiar approach the group. If they weren't right outside where the smugglers are hiding he would have burst with excitement. It has been a while since he had seen Crix. Way too long.

"Long time no see buddy. Well problem is there is no exact number on how many are using the cavern. So the plan is to take them out as we come across the smugglers." Tycho told Crix. With Levi and Vardon being new recruits. In a ways the two will be getting hands on training.

"Alright. Let's get moving." He will say quietly as he got into position to take out one of the three guards. Picking the one closest to the cavern, Tycho took aim and put a single bolt into the guard's skull. Two left then the rebels are free to enter.

[Levi Solus]

Levi nodded, already eyeing the guards and trying to formulate a plan in his head. He heard someone approach and turned to him, finding that he looked somewhat familiar—Levi had seen him at that party on Mimban. As for the other person, he had never met him before, but it seemed both Levi and Vardon were relatively new to the resistance.

"Levi," he replied in greeting to both Crix and Vardon. Without further ado, the four got to work—Tycho shot a guard and Levi reached out with the Force to try and subdue the second...

...Only for the plan to awfully backfire. The two remaining guards had noticed the blaster bolt striking their companion and heard Tycho firing, which resulted in one of them yelling loudly that they're under attack. This alerted several other guards on the inside of the cavern, and soon enough there were blaster bolts raining down toward the rock the rebels were hiding behind.

Sighing, Levi unclipped his lightsaber, aware that he'd need it to deflect bolts no matter what. This would be harder than he'd expected.

[Vardon Galland]

Soon, it seemed like they were a full party as the four men all hid behind the same rock which protected them from being detected by the guards. At least for the moment. The jedi who was first to arrive seemed to have the bright idea to introduce himself, prompting the Thyferran to do the same. "Vardon" he said after having raised his left hand to the height of his head in a stale and awkward wave.

The group was getting ready to commence their surprise attack. Whilst Tycho took aim with his blaster and Levi prepared to subdue one with the force, Vardon unsheathed one of his vibroknives and prepared to throw it at one of the guards. Only after the shot had been fired did the padawan throw his weapon at the designated target. The disappointment was clear in his face as the knive just scratched the side of the bandit's lower leg. Clearly, they had been detected, and to make matters worse, the now furious guard kicked the vibroknife so that it fell down into a crack whilst drawing his blaster. It was clear that Galland wouldn't be getting that weapon back anytime soon.

After a few brief moments of staring at the failed attack, Vardon dodged back in behind the rock, right before their foe's had the chance to fire at him. With the sticky situation they now found themselves in, the padawan grabbed his lightsaber with the right hand and readied himself for a continued fight.

[Crix Dolan (TL8)]

The mission was underway following a quick introduction. Tycho took the lead and aimed a shot at the closest guard. As he fired, Crix took the opportunity to move. The wonderful thing about Ryloth was an abundance of craggy outcroppings that would make decent cover. Their point of attack was well chosen and Crix managed to angle off to the remaining two guards left. Both Vardon and Levi ran into some trouble, but luckily they'd acted as a distraction. Slipping both his blaster out of their holsters he took aim at the pair of retreating guards and opened fire.

His Quickdraw blaster fired off pair of plasma bolts that slammed into the freshly scathed guard, dropping him. As his body crumbled Crix aimed and fired his trusty DH-7. The blaster bolt slammed into him just as he called out cutting off his call for help, but unfortunately, Crix wasn't fast enough. The blaster fire had piqued the interest of a local sentry and after barking into a com he charged out and took cover out of Crix's line of sight.

The smuggler sucked his teeth in frustration while holstering his Quickdraw. Blaster fire began to rain down from a guard tower, and he knew he needed to move if he was going to drop the newcomer. The guard tower was going to be an issue.

If they couldn't take out their enemies eye in the sky they'd be at a serious disadvantage, he lifted his comm and said, "Tycho, pick a partner and take out the guard tower. Whoever's left you're with me and we're going to secure that cargo!"

[Tycho Draykon]

Tycho cursed under his breath as he ducked behind a boulder that was barely big enough to shield him from the bolts that started to rain down on the team. As if that wasn't enough three smugglers who were most likely on guard duty came running out of the cavern to confront them.

Thinking everything through the criminal looked over to the tower. If he could just get a bit closer he can probably put a bolt in the guard's skull. Tycho will then look to Crix, "Already thinking about going for the tower. You take Vardon, Crix." He will then look to Levi, "Levi. You're with me. Come on." He will tell the jedi before running out from the safety of the boulder for another outcrop of boulders that are closer to the tower.

Along the way he took out one of the three smugglers with three bolts slamming into the bloke's torso. Once he got to the safety of the boulder outcrop that is closer to the tower. He started watching the guard to judge when to get a shot in or if they should go into the tower. There is a doorway. Yes it is shut. But there are always ways to get in.

[Vardon Galland]

Numerous new foes arrived but it seemed like the others had started making good progress on dealing with them as their numbers dwindled at a reasonable pace. Still, remaining behind the rock didn't seem like a very good solution in the long run as the padawan didn't have a blaster of his own and had already lost one knife. Besides, it seemed like a good idea to keep the momentum and force the opposition to react instead of letting them dictate the flow of the battle.

From the corner of his eye, the young Thyferran noticed that the mission leader took off, heading towards new cover closer to the tower. The blaster from the guard in the elevated position sounded and bolts flew towards the running men. As that guard was distracted by Tycho, Vardon decided to charge forth towards the enemies by the cave entrance. His quick movement along with a few swings of the saber ensured that the two foe's either had their shots miss or be deflected by the blue blade.

Unfortunately, these pirates were not as foolish as one might've hoped and the two quickly made an effort to make themselves scarce, knowing that the padawan would have to choose to go after one while the other could recover and perhaps even retaliate. Vardon pursued the one to the right, leaving the other guard and the tower to his left. Despite being a good runner, the Thyferran had no intentions on trying to race the fleeing opponent and instead reached out with his free left hand and pulled the poor foe back, allowing him to catch the man rather quickly.

His lightsaber connected centrally at the foe's back and pierced through his right lounge, ending the man's life without prolonged pain and suffering. It was then that Vardon realised that he had been outplayed as his back was now open to attack from both the tower and the other guard. The tower didn't seem like much of a problem as it was preoccupied with Tycho and Levi, but if the other guard got the chance to attack, it was clear that the padawan would be in trouble.

[Crix Dolan (TL8)]

The Smuggler tipped Tycho a two-fingered salute as their plans merged into one. Crix was with Vardon and Tycho was taking Levi. Soon after their quick planning session, the group went into motion. Tycho burst out of cover and took out one of the three ground-level guards while closing in on the guard tower.

With the distraction made by Tycho, Vardon saw an opportunity and took it before Crix could warn otherwise. While the younger Jedi made his move Crix picked his way from one rocky outcropping to another. Being careful not to attract any unwanted attention. Luckily for him, the guard tower had taken interest in Tycho's group making it easier for The Smuggler to move unnoticed.

Just as Vardon impaled the fleeing guard with his blue blade the final guard popped out of cover and leveled his blaster at the Jedi's back. Luckily, Crix was waiting for him. With his Quickdraw blaster in hand, the Rebel aimed and fired killing the final guard outside the cave. He sprinted forward staying low to avoid being picked off by the guard tower looming above and once he was in Vardon's line of sight gestured for the man to follow him into the cave.

Crix took point and moved methodically, reaching out with the force and feeling for anything that might cause them trouble. It wasn't long until he came across several beings filled with anxiety and he held up a hand for Vardon to stop. He pressed himself against the cave wall and carefully eased himself to the corner. After a silent three count, he chanced a peek around the corner and spotted four armed guards nervously glancing to and fro within the room and directly behind them was the cargo they'd come for. A sly smile parted his lips as he slipped back around the corner.

The Jedi relayed the information to Vardon and prepared to attack. All that stood between them and securing the cargo were the four guards, this was going to be cake.

[Tycho Draykon]

Tycho was busy watching the guard currently situated in the tower to notice that Vardon and Crix had taken care of the other two guards. Nor to see if Levi had followed him as the criminal told him to.

The criminal held his breath as he aimed his carbine in the direction of the guard. Resting his rifle on top of the boulder to keep it steady. He had his aim. Now he just had to wait to get a shot in as the guard blazed away with his weapon. It was not long before the guard made a deadly mistake. As the bloke reloaded his rifle, he left himself wide open. Something Tycho took advantage of as he put a single bolt in the guard's skull. The guard went limp on the floor of the tower.

With that threat taken care of the criminal tapped Levi on the shoulder, "Come on. Let's help the others." He will tell the jedi. As he moved in the direction of the other two Tycho will then notice that the other two were already getting ready to move into the cavern. Moving up behind Vardon he prepared for the gunfight that will begin as soon as they enter.

[Vardon Galland]

Fortune seemed to be on Vardon's side as his exposed backside didn't get attacked. He was surprised as his blunder couldn't have been very hard for the opponent behind him to spot. Upon turning around, the padawan realised what had happened - the newest arrival had managed to save him from being injured. After giving the man a grateful nod, he followed him to the cave entrance away from the tower.

Not even the tower seemed to present much of a threat for too long as Tycho managed to shoot its occupant before it risked becoming a prolonged skirmish. With the entire group gathered by the cave entrance, it was clear that an attack was about to be launched. For some reason, the four guards inside had decided not to join the relatively short battle outside. Even though it would've been nice to know whether they were prepared for the group to enter the cave or not, the plan wouldn't change all that much - they were going in to take the goods regardless.

After looking forth to Crix and then behind him to Tycho and Levi, it was clear that they were all ready. With that, the padawan entered the room with a sprint in order to close the distance to the foes quickly. While three opponents could be seen in the distance, the fourth man was nowhere to be seen. At least not until he appeared from behind a rock with a quick swing towards the Thyferran's abdominal area. The sudden appearance took Galland by surprise and he barely raised his lightsaber in time to prevent the attack from striking true. Whilst the vibrosword didn't strike at his stomach, the deflected blade went downwards and managed to cut him in the left leg causing major discomfort and bleeding.

While being cut was most unfortunate, it was at least a relief that this aggressive opponent prevented his allies from shooting at the padawan as he stood right between them. In a quick counter attack, Vardon threw a heavy punch which connected with his opponent's head and consequently knocked him out.

[Crix Dolan (TL8)]

Vardon decided to get things rolling and rushed around the corner. He was met by a guard, but the padawan was able to overthrow his adversary. He landed a punch that made Crix wince in sympathetic pain. The smuggler crumpled to the ground and as he fell Crix made his move. Rolling out from behind the padawan, The Gunslinger pulled his Renegade Blaster and fired off two shots. The first shot caught a smuggler directly in the chest. The second shot slammed into other smuggler's face.

Both died on impact. The final guard dove for cover and began taking pop shots at the rebels closing in on their location. This mission was as good as done. A smirk played on The Gunslinger's face as he slid behind cover. All they had to do now was take out the last smuggler and prep the cargo for departure.

The Gunslinger kept the pressure up on the guard firing off pop shots hoping to get the being to move the wrong way. Crix had a good feeling about Tycho's attack. The guy was a crack shot with that blaster of his.

[Tycho Draykon]

The other two rebels, starting with Vardon, took out three of the four remaining smugglers that were guarding the countless piles of goods. But the remaining one was either really stubborn or certain that he will somehow take out the criminal and two jedi. Like that was going to happen. With him taking up the back of the group Tycho had the time to find a good position to get a crack shot in at the remaining smuggler. Aiming his carbine at the remaining enemy soldier, he didn't have to wait long for the smuggler to make a mistake. Being which the smuggler stepped out of his cover, immediately Tycho fired a single bolt at the other man. He hit the smuggler in the skull as he had planned but the smuggler got one last bolt out of his rifle before hand that bounced off one of the crates and scraped along the side of Tycho's right arm. The armor will absorb most of the damage but he will feel the all too familiar burn of the bolt.

Hissing the criminal nodded to the other two as he headed over to the stacks of crates, taking note of what is here and to see if anything is missing. Luckily he will find that everything is accounted for after looking in each of the crates. They had managed to stop the smugglers before they could send them elsewhere. So now the goods can be returned to the town they were stolen from during shipments.

With the goods in their control and secured. It was time to begin the next phase of the mission.
