The smell of ventilated air swirled into Camulos' nose as he stood at the end of the room, arms folded. Though he called this academy, this planet, home, he much preferred the air of Kashyyyk. It was fresher, and much easier to breathe. With each breath he took, he tasted the darkness that lurked over this planet. It reminded him of the past Sith who had been trained here. Some of the greatest minds that ever existed had been trained here, formed and molded.

As he waited for his apprentice to show up, he strode to a nearby table and picked up a datapad, perusing the information it contained. He had read it's contents several times before. But there was something mysterious about it. As if something was missing; as if something hadn't been logged. Scrolling through the information, he reached the top once more.

Brandon Blake..., Camulos burned into his mind.

Blake had no thoughts as his new Master called for him..Entering the wicked room that Camulos occupied, Blake had no weapons, nothing but the clothes on his body, and a weak sense of the Force in his mind, barely enough for any Force wielder to be satisfied with however. Hands held behind his back, Blake approached Camulos with a sense of curiosity.

Although Blake's strength in the Force was still considered weak, he could no doubt feel the strength of a dark power that lurked throughout the room, perhaps even the very planet. Lowering his hood to reveal his face, Blake nodded to his Master, to show that he would listen..

Camulos smiled upon seeing the face of his apprentice. His apprentice showed no thoughts in his expression. This could be good. He wouldn't be easy to read, so he could get away with a lot of lying after some proper training. Camulos slid the datapad back onto the nearby table, placing his hands behind his back. He began pacing back and forth in front of the eager apprentice, glancing up at him a few times.

"I understand that much of your history is lost. What is known of your history, I already know, thanks to the scouts of the Sith.", he paused.

"But your history will be left behind us. We will be reforming you. You will experience a...powerful rebirth. So now I must ask you...Why do you wish to join the Sith?"

((Sorry, I didn't have much time to write.))

"Strength..."
Answering the question with no hesitation..It was a real easy question to answer, with no real reason to think over it..A lie could be uncovered easily if told with thought, answering as quickly as possible is sometimes best, but sometimes worse..There was nothing for anyone to read in Blake's mind, nothing to find..There was no lie in his voice when he spoke to his master however, he was there to become the best.

A chuckle escaped the firm face of Camulos, echoing from the tall ceiling to the tile floor and back again. Though every man sought power, he hoped this apprentice would be more like himself. Camulos was not here to become the strongest. He was not here to be the most powerful. He was here to outsmart-here to outplay-all of the other Sith. There was a great mind behind the face of young Camulos, and it was simply waiting till the right time to show itself.

"Ahh, yes. What some would call a pinnacle of the Sith. Though I am obligated to train you with what you wish to learn, I will show you that strength and power does not only reside in the muscles. In the Sith, you will learn that your mind is your strongest weapon."

He paused, though still pacing infront of Blake.

"Let us get started. Have you been taught the Sith code?"

Blake had figured such things would be a strong part of the sith..The mind, he had noticed when he travelled with his old Master, was a powerfull tool to have. Basically by learning that no thought could be stolen through having an empty mind, he learned that there was a way to block those such things..Or lie about his thoughts..Blake wanted to learn to how defeat an enemy with these feats, physical combat is something that could be strengthened more easily for him perhaps, by already knowing how to fight for his life..He wanted to learn how to fool and trick an enemy in every way, he wanted to know the Force..And learn to use it to cripple the greatest and the potential best..

A wave of disappointment fled through Camulos' body. No matter. He would not waste precious time on the subject. He would say what needed to be said, and be done with it. It did slightly puzzle him though. All Sith were supposed to learn the code before even being eligible for a master. He must've slipped through the cracks, as so many worthy Sith did. But the code was not just words to Camulos. It had meaning. It light an internal flame within his soul. It was essentially the foundation of the Sith. It is the terms their "organization" was formed on.

"'Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.'", Camulos said, halted from his pacing.

"I will not waste time with teaching it to you now. Remember it, and memorize it on your own time. I will be asking you to recite it and what it means to you at a later time. Right now, we will begin physical training. Do you wish to bring your focus on the Force, or lightsaber combat?"

Blake knew that he could step up on his melee combat skills with a lightsaber..But already having some knowledge on combat, he thought it would be best to focus on the Force, not knowing enough of the Force could be a problem..Become stronger in the Force, and slowly influence his melee skills throughout time. The Force could bring strength in lightsaber combat if his melee skill became too weak, or at least be a substitution of a blade in a fight, perhaps even it could be the first pick of choice to Blake in a fight. The Force is a more powerfull weapon than a lightsaber, but then again, the mind can fool the strongest of weapons..

"Good choice.", Camulos said humbly. "For after this portion of the training, you can use what you learned from the Force to enhance your combat skills."

He gently waved his hand and a great wooden table floated out of the shadows and into the center of the room, dust falling off as it touched the floor with a thud. Right behind it, a glass ball floated, landing silently on top of the table. It reminded Camulos of his own training. But it was only natural to mimick one's master and his ways.

"I'm assuming you understand the principle of using the Force?", he paused, not allowing much time for an answer.

"You must reach out with your feelings. It is a way of extending your senses and your mind. The Force surrounds us all. It is us all, both internal and external...Close your eyes. Though it is not as sharp as it could be, you can still see the room. You know where everything is and how some things look. You get better at this with training...Once you believe you are ready, and you can feel the Force around you, I want you to feel the Force around the ball on the table. You must connect to it and become a part of it. Once you are ready, pick it up. No, not with your hands, but with the Force..."

Blake followed his Masters every step..Believing every word that came out of Master Camulos' mouth, Blake felt his life transform into an entirely new perspective..His body was revealed from the deafening shield that protected himself from the powerfull shadow of the Force..He became a man that he would have once blocked himself from..Leaving that shield that protected his mental state from the Force, the empty spaces that kept Blake safe, was now filled suddenly with the Force..The one thing he wished that wouldn't have happened was loosing his strongest weapon. Although, Blake would one day re-create a dead zone within himself to protect and hide his mind, if only to use it to destroy the strongest of Force-wielders, it would be a strong feat to remember when the time comes.. The Force had illuminated the room around him, showing him the true picture within the dark training chamber, the Force could tell the truth were perhaps eyes could not.The ball that was set on the table had its own way of life to it, for the Force touched in in a way that could make it manipulated..Feeling the Force that surrounded the ball, Blake reached to it through the Force, for the first time..He was able to use the Force, as the ball gently hovered low above the table..His life had begun.

((In case you can't tell, I really can't find time to RP. The little free time I do have, I spend either at the gym or just sitting and thinking. I don't think I'm a suitable master, so I'd prefer if someone else would teach. So, yeah. Blake is up for grabs.))
