Hi. I know the Bounty Hunter Guild is around and maybe this could work with them somehow, but I've noticed there are a lot of independent mercenary characters floating around without anything significant for them to do.

I was thinking of GMing a couple threads where a retired bounty hunter (an NPC) posts bounties on exotic and little known criminals that wander the galaxy. It would be mostly to help lend a little realism to the galaxy, maybe influence some credit exchange, that sort of thing.

So, if I made a thread for people to put their bounty hunters to use, can I get a show of hands for who might join? I just dont want to make the thread and have it immediately fall flat.

If there was sufficient demand, I could make the NPC as a registered account and let the password circulate. I mean I assume people wouldn't be immature and screw it up, and it would be a lot simpler than having different users using the same NPC. But like I said, that's only if there's a demand.

So, anyone interested?

Owleh Karground, who took over his lands and palace, wants who he thinks is the only person still alive that can take back the lands. It's all covered in the basic biography.

I don't care if you wrote that stuff into your profile. Five million is ****ing ridiculous.

It isn't even the highest bounty on the list. Not even the third highest. It is a reasonable for a man who faces possible death for his crimes... and who is rich enough to own two lands and two palaces to place.

Stop hatin.

You're an idiot if you think your character has the same value as the Jedi Grandmaster.

Oh stop hatin'

I don't give a fat rat's ass. Five million for one individual because you wrote it up? That's really dumb. I can understand letting other people determine that. But you doing it yourself is still retarded.

It's just a plot device. It isn't even the same people who put the bounties up. He is valued to two different people. This isn't about me, it's about what the character who placed the bounty wants.

@Horizon: Well I determined how much for my other three characters. It's just a plot device that I put up for my own character. I'm doing some hardcore rping. Why are we so angry on me putting a very valuable death wish on my own character. This is for the sake of my rps, I'm not saying I value my character the same amount as a Jedi Grandmaster. I want a lot of people after him.

Once again...

That is dumb.

But hey whatever, Jerek.

You missed this part, and cut that out. I'm putting it in for my entertainment of the game. If I want a lot of people to come and attempt to kill him, that's my wish. Why do you feel the need to get angry at something that doesn't do anyone or anything wrong except myself which is the purpose. It's a hardcore rp thing that I make sure my characters are in mortal danger or something else equally thrilling to me.

I'd prefer a challenging role play experience in which I may not triumph. Life and death and its uncertainty is what makes me enjoy these types of rpg's. Why would I want my character always succeed? That's just boring. Also it looks cooler and is generally a better experience if there are difficulties that test the mettle.

Lolin' all the way.

It's not much of a challenging roleplay when people like CK bust up in a thread wreck your shit.

Pshaw, that was all Ru in your thread. We should probably stop clogging this up before good ol' Nevermore sodomizes us and kills all our characters.

Later guys!
