Ok. As Former head of the Bounty Hunter's Guild (which no longer exhists, so ignore my signature it will only confuse you) I'll do a quick bounty exmplanation.

First, do you know how the thread system works?

Open Thread = anyone can enter the thread and intereact with those present.

Ask= You must request permission from the thread founder to participate.

So, moving on. In terms of bounty pursuit, you have two options.

1. Message the player with the bounty and ask if they want to do a bounty thread with you

2. Stalk them until you find the Bountied Character exposed in an open thread, then pop in and lay down your justice.

Whether you coordinate before hand or not, be sure to comminucate amiable with your quary, especially if might need to take them in Dead. If the Bounty says dead or alive, be decent and try to take them alive/ just go for the incapacitation. Besides that, its assumed that a live capture has a better payout.

Now to your specific reference

For bounties that say contact on sight or whereabouts unknown, how does that work in RP? Do you make a thread about hunting them and have them rp the responses to communications or? Sorry for the questions. I'm new here and I just want to do it right.

First, this is my bounty so I see what you're up to buddy ;)

Second, all of that is just useless flavor text, and me trying to creat options for drama, since Diva (me) has literally been MIA for months.

Lol I really only meant my questions in general, I swear I have no intent of taking your bounty. Do you update the thread to indicate which bounties are still active and which have been completed? Also are you allowed to ask to go after your bounty in an ask thread or no?

Yeah sure. Asking is always allowed. Never feel embarassed to ask someone for some RP action, it's the only way to get going.

And you are welcome to go after my bounty. If it is up there, the player knows about it and agreed to it being posted, or even posted it themselves. This simply means that it is all fair game, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

@Prudence actually stepped up to the plate in my absence and manages this bounty board (very well, I might add.) If a bounty is anywhere in this thread, and not marked as claimed you can go for it.

Can I suggest that some of these read "Besadii" or "Desajliac" Kajadic, as Nar Shaddaa doesn't have a department of Justice.

The Nameless One officially accepts the Bounty placed on Talia for the glory of the sith, and also for the wonderfully nutritional brains. @Sreeya

Can we get the references to the 'Nar Shaddaa department of justice' changed to 'Hutt Council' please?

How are so many Sith Leader Characters on the bounty board, but the Sith don't seem to even want toplace a bounty on any Jedi Leadership characters? Does that seem weird?

Question from a new writer:
Diva, you've been absent from writing so if one were to go after your contract, how would we RP that PvP? The contract says ALIVE, so do you just want someone to snatch your character up? Or will you be available to respond?

You would need the writer to participate in the thread, or at least their express permission to be NPCed. If neither of these are possible you would be unable to pursue the bounty.

Who do we contact after capturing/killing the bounty? For example, under the Republic faction site their "High Command," is in a classified location; do we contact the PC playing the High Chancellor?
Or for simplicity, do we post the link in this thread for the bounties to be updated?
