Well then I would ask this. How is this different from the 'Dramatic Personae' thread?

Because this is specifically for those who partake in bounties. It would be the dramatic personea thread for bounty hunters only. You don't see Vero or Jack signing up for bounties, do you? This is just to get more interest into the faction via the bounty boards.

Also, something I got thinking about as I start my first bounty thread. What exactly are the rules for doing a bounty thread? Get someone to NPC the bounty, but is that someone required to be a cartel member? And what is someone wants to do the bounty as a solo thread, NPCing the target themselves, would that work?

The way I wanted them done was to tell the best/most badass story you can. So it's very free reign. You can have someone (anyone) NPC the character for you, or you can NPC the target in a solo thread yourself. So yes, either way is fine.

Well I'm back as well, and I agree that the bounties should be done freely, no need to put limitations on them. Unless it's like a super important bounty and we make a story arc about it.

Also I can't say I'm fully convinced, but I think I see what you mean Matt. If you're still up for it, make a draft of the bounty hunters of the Cartel and let's see where it goes. : )

There is no doubt that bounty hunters in the Hutt Cartel are important and necessary for their businesses to run. As such the Cartel has been cracking down to place numerous enemies on their Most Wanted list, found here. Because more and more enemies are being targeted, bounty hunters have also been on the rise. Okay, I admit this is pretty dumb. Can we make a thread that's just a place for people to drop off completed missions/bounties? The sign-up threads are so cluttered it's gonna be a bitch to keep everything straight soon enough.

Well I've never had a problem keeping track of completed bounties and whatnot, I can see where the clutter is going. I think this could be a good idea, and we could get creative with it.

What about this: we create a thread to drop off the bounties like Bee suggested. Though we have them actually RP the bringing of the bounty off in a single post in the thread. So the thread would consist of IC posts of people simply finishing off their bounty, even if it means copy and pasting their final post in their bounty thread.

I like that idea. Maybe even officially restrict it to one post, to drop off the finished bounty. But I do think this particular part of the system isn't so broken as to need much fixing, as Matt said (not in so many words... lol)
