THEME
Burkhart walked down the sparsely populated street of the under levels of Eriadu. It was not the first time he had ventured to the planet but it had been a decent amount of time. Still, he had not been to this seller of goods before in his actual place of business. The man had been sold some arms before but the Morling was not after the same things as what he had sold. In fact the merchant he was intending to buy from had other goods that he did not readily have access to.

A clawed, yet gloved, hand scratched the back of his neck. Despite the decent facilities he often took part in he always felt like he never got a decent enough bath away from home. Sighing he trudged along the sidewalk of the street. Well, it was a foot street so the whole thing was a side walk more or less but his habit had him off to one side.

Not alone he wondered how his comrade was doing. The man, Daz Solus had a similar name to another two Mandalorians he knew. If he was anything like the other Badgers he had met than the reputation both proceeded and represented itself. It was a good thing to see the reputation of a clan be true to itself. It was something he hoped for the Kelborn clan though he worried about from time to time. There was a reason the Kelborn name had some bad apples associated with it and a sour reputation with others.

Keeping his head on a swivel he looked around towards the upper level. A mandalorian was always well aware of the vertical threat in an urban area. After all, it was they who often exploited such a thing. Hopefully though this simple pick up job would go off without a hitch.

Well. He had been dragged to worse worlds, that was for sure. And with less information too. So all in all, the day was starting out pretty OK. Though he didn't know his partner on this mission, Burkhart as well as perhaps he should have, he had long since been a ally of the Badgers and was reasonably close to Daz's sister so that spoke to his wherewithal if nothing else. That said, the giant Mando on a mostly 'civilized' world drew attention...more attention that Daz probably would have liked for a visit to a black market hub, but what could you do.

Some people were just born giants. Daz shrugged to himself as they walked forward, Burkhart glancing everywhere and missing nothing. Daz too kept his wits about him but Burkhart seemed to think that they were going to be jumped at any moment. "You ok, big guy?" Daz asked as they walked. "All this glancing around, up, down...practically through things. Is there something you're not telling me? You practically gave that cabbie back there a heartattack just for looking at him for two seconds too long."

It was only a moment longer before they arrived at the rendezvous point. It was a large, nondescript storefront displaying a bland array scale model ship upgrades and other more or less standard hyperspace travel paraphernalia. Daz led the way into the building, startling a clerk up from his place behind the counter. The man started to stammer something about perhaps they had the wrong shop but stopped when Daz turned his emotionless mando visor to the man and simply stood waiting. They wouldn't go unnoticed for long.

And they were expected.

Burkhart was wary. He had been in the game long enough to know that those with power attracted the worst of others. So when Daz remarked on him looking around Burkhart's blank faced visor turned to look at him. Normal people would have a difficult time telling where a mandalorian's eyes were when they were behind a helmet but he supposed that Daz was well versed enough that he was making an edjucated guess that the Morling's head was on a swivle, and he was right.

<"Yeh, well when you're dumb enough to get a rep like me ya tend tah keep a look out for anyone that wants ta take ya down a peg. Bull rushin the sith academy on korriban was about as dumb as it gets an not the type of thing that is easily forgotten...among other thangs."> He spoke in mando'a. His right cybernetic arm opened and closed in rememberance of all the mistakes he had made. As for his demeanor, that just the type of presence he supposed he commanded. The Alor of clan kelborn was a large fellow and when it came to business, be it in a suit of armor plates or cloth, he could be equally ruthless.

The two mandalorians would soon arrive in an open sided warehouse with high ceilings. It was more of a small convention hall than anything. Inside were tables of assorted items. Some of them were legally purchasable while others were not. Burkhart paid them no mind.

Towards the back was a small being who noticed them. "Ah, yes. Mandalorians, always a pleasure. I'm glad to hear Dio and Koil have recommended my wares." he smiled nervoulsy with his hands clasped together. Burkhart stared at him silently from behind the helmet knowing he had probably gotten the same treatment in his previous dealings with Mandalorians. "Well....um. If you'll follow me I have the items you're looking for. A tranciever, a scatterweave casing of specific dimmensions and a....fair amount of what did you call it?" He glanced over his shoulder as he lead the two towards the back. "Pyrotechnic party favors."

Daz grinned under his helmet at Burkhart's quip. Yes that was exactly what they were looking for, pyrotechnic party favors. The little being seemed not to know if he should laugh or just ignore the big Mando's comment. The salesman opted for saying nothing, instead leading them over to a tent-like structure where he kept his wares.

He led the mando duo past the array of things in the font and through a cloth partition at the back. It divided his yurt evenly in half. Clearly the shopfront and open air market tables were only the beginning of what this being could provide. Dio and Koil wouldn't waste their time with a nobody. In the inner sanctum Daz saw the most astonishing array of highly illegal weaponry, combat booster drugs and other things he was only partly sure of their purpose.

Perhaps the being had learned from previous interactions with Mandalorians that they didn't like to have their time wasted, or maybe he knew he was going to turn a good profit from what they bought, whatever the case he led them to a large storage locker, keyed the security code and opened it.

"Is that everything?" Daz asked. "I think for a sale of this volume you could throw in one of those." He pointed to something that looked like a whale harpoon tipped with a thermal detonator. "For free."

The equipment that he was here to purchase was all there. The Morling inspected it for a moment. Up the casing, no larger than a small briefcase. Looking over to Daz he took a step away from the items. <"Let's get these packed up and get out of here."> He spoke in Mando'a. Strangely when he spoke in the language his accent was not as pronounced but that tended to happen since it was not his native tongue.

While Daz grabbed the purchased items the Field Marshal moved to stand near the merchant. He stared at him for a moment which caused him to squirm a bit, wondering if his violent customer base was displeased. He pulled out a data pad. Some of the guards watched his hands as he did so but otherwise were unmoved. "I'll transfer you the credits as agreed." He said. He was using a disposable data pad and had a few standalone bank accounts for this sort of purchase. No doubt the money was going into an equally unrelated account for the merchant.

The man nodded glad to see the deal was going down as well as it possibly could. Afterwards the two mandalorians would take their leave and head back to their ship. A quick in and out. Other than the actual building and the delivery of the future package this was one of the more difficult parts of the job. Thankfully it had been completed without a hitch.
