I totally get where you guys are coming from. I myself already kinda figured that post was going over the top. I just kinda figured that if there were issues, it'd be easy enough to change. Let me know what/how you'd like things to change. I don't have an issue editing things.

For the suicide bomb things, I didn't mean them to be an legitimate threat. Of course anyone could theoretically climb the walls, but I'd assume that without force aided acrobatics you'd be too slow and just get shot down. The bombers are totally just meant as a distraction.

I didn't mean to just kinda bypass things. I was just trying move things along to create a plausible way to get into the building for PvP scenarios. I really don't want to come off as one of those people who only care about winning.

Thanks, I was scared this'd just turn into a pissing competition. You and Vinny are bros, I respect that. On the real, I'm completely fine with you starting to get ready to grab a whole bunch of Sith dudes and try to bring down the front of the building, but just realize that you guys're currently in a cover-less open Plaza trying to siege a building.

PvP scenarios're fine and dandy, it's just that it really felt as a way of just rushing things to the degree where everyone just paused and said "Wait, what."

It's a Siege. Shit's slow, and it's brutal, with high death tolls. We're hunkered down. You guys can think up a way of brute-forcing it, and we're more than happy to play along, it's just you gotta leave us room to do stuff. The Suicide Bombers ran, not that they made it and went boom. You guys began to pull down the building (which would definitely take time, even for Yoda's crazy ass). You know?

Thanks for being willing to work with us. The PvP is there, it'll happen, but as with all things, there's a time, place, and a small company of angry Republic Troopers shooting at you from cover trying to stop it from happening.

Bear in mind, like I said in the status, that defenders in Sieges have an innate advantage. You guys're trying to blitzkrieg a fortified position against dudes that're vetted and dug the hell in. Nobody said the Republic's going to roll over and die in their own Capital building.

Get creative, but give us a chance to do stuff/react.

Yeah, it's just a Teutonic cluster-fuck of rubble and shit. Also, welcome to the party @Prudence ! After a god damn orbital bombardment, I'd wager there ain't shit left but rubble, though. Despite how badly I want to reply right now, gonna wait for @Calixis to post, a lot of stuff just happened and the GAR guys (@Me, @SonOfTheo , @Ranavik , @Livu ) would be getting orders about now.

I am getting concerned that the thread's becoming far too crowded, however. Do you reckon it's about time we closed up shop on the new joiners front? Especially since we've not had any flakers yet to my knowledge.

A few people from streets are making their way to the capital so I wouldn't recommend closing it. What you could do is suggest for some people already in it to continue plots in side threads. Idk how this is going, but in Streets a few people are doing stories of their own. I was thinking of starting a Main around evacuation for instance.

Not to get on your case, but I just wanted to mention that @saam @Enuf and I are prepared to jump back into everything, whenever. Anything affecting the battle as a whole is affecting our little group as well. We aren't in a little bubble, so... No worries there. We're battling it out, but that doesn't mean we aren't "involved in the happenings of the thread on a post-by-post basis."
