Saying space was extensive was like saying the ocean was simply damp. The void was large, dark and full of terrors. Among them was Cyzyn-Itza-Rus. Today he was not flying through Trancret space looking to kill, but he would certainly do so if it came to that. Instead, he was flying through space waiting for a heavy freighter to pass through carrying a specific ore that the empire was going to need. They wanted to keep an eye of for a Kuat Drive Yards Venture class freighter. Originally meant as a passenger transport but retro designed to be a cargo transporter.

He sat patiently behind his controls. They would want to board the ship safely and take the ship itself so too much damage to the ship would make it a nusance to transport. If there were escorts then they would need to take those out as well. The ship was supposed to be holding nearly 90 metric tons of tydirium ore. It would be a waste to simply have it blown up and spread out in space to add to the floating mass of random matter that existed in the void.

Sitting in the cold inky blackness simply floating a matte black Triskele Patrol Craft looked like a forgotten ship adrift in space. The ship looked dead from every aspect but one, minimal life support was feeding a space suit keeping one noghri alive. In a deep meditation Cho sat in his pilot's chair waiting for the signal to engage.

The ship Cho chose while on one of the last missions was leaps and bounds better than anything he had ever had before. It would need to be better for the newest mission had to be surgical strike. Cho took the job of dealing with the escorts and then the follow up boarding once the space was clear and secured. He was ready. The ship's cargo hold was full of party poppers, Ion mines, frag mines and magnetic thermo detonators.

He wanted to be ready for anything the one thing he could not get on his ship was missiles, but the mines were the trade off. He could not get the equipment to even drop the mines via the ship functions. So he had marked each with his own blood so that he could quickly find them in the force and release them himself with the force. Of course it works in theory yet he will see how it plays out hopefully he won't have to depend upon them solely.

Through the force he looked for vision of the future but only used what he got from it as a maybe not set in stone. Pulling back from the future visions to the now in the force he searched for clues as to movements and other things that would need to be checked before the mission started. In the force he pinged out a ready for those force users on the mission.

The stars slowly drifted in view as the ship listed. Everything except life support and the scanners were active for the time being. Minutes would go by, perhaps even hours as the two Sith waited. However Cyzyn-Itza-Rus sat in his pilot's chair aboard the Pale Harvest as they waited for their quarry to arrive. His droid was to let him know if anything came up on the scanners. So far it was nothing.

Eventually this would change. Before his senses detected anything the GP protocol droid let him know something had come in. He opened his slit pupil eyes and immediatly focused on the readout. They were within a short distance from them. The two ships the sith were in would not eve be able to reach max speed by the time they were on the ships that had entered the system. Three ships, one was the transport they were after. The other two were bi-vane starfighters on hyperdrive rings.

Activating the ship's engines the lights came on. The moment his engines were ready he gunned them and closed the distance to the nearest ship. Hopefully he would catch them before they had a chance to disengage from their hyperdrive rings.

@Foxfire It will just be us in this thread.

Darkness, endless darkness, it moved silently here and there touching beacons light. Swallowing the beacons and bringing about more darkness. The darkness hungers for more and will not sate it'll darkness engulfs all and all becomes dark.

They come through the darkness, let us show them what true darkness is. Let us feed upon their light and bring true darkness to those who want to bring holier than tho light. LET US FEED!!

FEED!!!

At that last word Cho woke with his eyes glowing red with dark force energy. The ship was vibrating from his connection in the force. Ever since his time in the Korriban Tomb encased and possessed by for ghosts. They showed him their darkness. Their darkness was only a slight glimpse into the darkside of the force.

Since then his darkness was growing faster and stronger. His connection to the darkside was even stronger than it was before. Some where inside him he wanted more of that power and was craving it day and night. This mission was one that the darkness inside Cho wanted.

Let's feast!!

Cho kicked his systems on and doubled his front shields. His new ship roared to life and sped to engage one of the two bi-vane. The jump rings were valuable he would try to disable the ship with his ion cannon only if was not disengage from the ring by the time he got to the little ship. Pushing his engines to max Cho shifted to his partner's left side. Hunger for war and destruction was starting to grow stronger in Cho which made his senses sharpen to crystalline focus.

There was a reason that Cyzyn had set the ambush like he had. The enemy's escort was capable and powerful. They were not to be underestimated and could tear the two sith apart if they made the wrong move. Cyzyn-Itza-Rus had an auto blaster turret on the dorsal part of his farsight scout ship. It was meant more for defense and to disuade corsairs, the exact sort of people who would be acting out the very events unfolding now. While the bi-vanes had two of these they were fixed on their wings and forced to fire on targets in front of them. Cyzyn could have the Pale Harvest rotate and fire from three hundred and sixty degrees. Of course the star fighters also had concussion missiles though if they wanted to use them.

Getting very close was what he needed to spray one of the star fighters. However they were still small and nimble as well as his autoblaster rellying on a high rate of fire to compensate for its inaccuracy. Thus it annoyed him when he only managed to land one shot on the first fly by of the closest starfighter. He used his tractor beam on the other starfighter to help Cho get a better shot, perhaps making it a little harder to maneuver out of the way of the Noghri's incoming attack.

Through the force he felt his partner's frustration as well as the pilots' fear in the combat. Catching on that Cyzyn had grabbed one with a tractor beam Cho aimed his Ion cannon which he double charged for faster recharge and sent three blasts at the slowed ship. The first missed but the other two hit their mark. Swinging fast he tried for the other ship in a juke maneuver. His regular cannons went hot and lazers jump from them hungry to hit their mark. The shots went either wide or missed all together which made Cho's anger flare. An instinct of reaching out in the force and yanking at the pilot was Cho's first response.

His second response was to turn and pursue alternating every third shot with an Ion blast. Pursuing was not as easy for Cho in his new ship as it was in the Junkie he had. The turning and acceleration was slower but the fire power and the shielding was better for when the other bi-vane was on his tail after dropping it's jump ring. Dragging himself back to a calm state in the force he could find a better foot hold upon the fore knowledge of the other pilot's maneuvers.

He started to get a better feel for when the other pilot was going to move and where. In time Cho was almost able to direct by danger the other pilot's flight path. Two more hits with his regular cannons and one of the ion landed after a quiet a few minutes. Yet when ever he was near enough to the main ship he would send a few ion shots their way. Cho was never able to see whether they hit or not for he was constantly chasing the bi-vane.

Turning the bi-vane again Cho called on his coms to Cyzyn....

Turning mine back into the main fray if you are ready to take a shot or two have at it.

The bi-vane was starting to look a little rough and slow.

Cyzyn realized that his first mission working with Cho had ended in a dog fight. Back then Cho had just an Ugly but it seemed he had come some distance since then. The enemies then had also been the ossein design ships. But they were fairly common so it would be no surprise or pity to remove a few more from the galaxy.

It was a good reason he had wanted to wait until they were in optomum position before engaging the enemy. Star fighters generally had a better chance in a dog fight than other ships. It was plain to see now that one of the bi-vane disengaged his hyper drive ring and manuevered around to fire on the Tiss'shar's scout ship. Luckly it was a manuever that was allowed the Pale Harvest to barely avoid damage. The shots missing the ship by a few meters, a hair bredth in space terms.

However the pilot of the ship was not so lucky and gained a face full of Cyzyn's auto blaster. The bi vane had an impressive armament for offense. However it relied on its speed and manueverability to avoid damage and do what is refered to as speed tanking. Coming out of its hyperdrive ring left it at a disadvantage and the short range with the Pale Harvest coupled with a completely lack of armor or shields it was shredded by the hail of auto-blaster fire. Cyzyn was too focused on that Bi vanes distruction to notice the one that Cho had been chasing after.

Getting a read that his partner was not going to engage his target Cho swept fast and hard at the last bi-vane. Pushing his guns to their limits he led his target. With a wicked grin he swung wide to make the last bi-vane regret for running like it had. Spinning back upon the main ship Cho doubled the power of his Ion cannon to start making crippling strafing runs.

Dropping a small group of Ion mines in the unavoidable path of the cargo ship Cho flipped his ship on it's head and cut his engines. Floating in space with his ion cannons raining down on the nose of the main ship Cho watched for the bi-vane and the laser fire from the cargo ship to leap out at him.

COME ON HIT ME!!!!

Cho's rage rang over the coms. In his connection to the force he started to pour fear from the force the same way the Phantoms of the Sith tombs had tried not so very long ago.

Firing up his engines again Wroth charged the cargo ship rising above the lay of Ion mines to strafe down the spine of the cargo ship. Taking a couple of hits Cho's focus and connection in the force turned to the bi-vane. His hatred in the force poured down upon the bi-vane. Turning his full unfaltering attention to the on coming ship Cho let the ship have every thing he had in fire power.

So far Cho had kept his temper and blood lust in check though Cyzyn knew he had a latent aggression like many sith tended to. He was splitting his attention between two different targets which was hazardous for himself. Perhaps he had a death wish or had become so jaded by time and experience that the rush of adrenaline from a near death experience was the only thing he could feel. Those people tended to be dangerous but not without purpose for both friends and enemies.

With the distruction of his own earlier target Cyzyn hoped that Cho would be able to dispatch his own without Cyzyn's assistance. The Tiss'shar focused on the cargo vessel and began hailing them. He used his tractor beam to slow them down only slightly and he was easily able to keep pace with them. "Cargo vessel, this is Pale Harvest. Cut power to your engines, drop your shields and open up your airlock. Failure to comply will result in your ship being fired upon and being depressurized." He waited a moment, his clawed finger on the trigger for his ship's autoblasters, ready to fire on the ore transport ship in a heartbeat if they did not obey.

After a few moments Cyzyn began feeling he had given them plenty of time and was about to light the ship up. However a voice came in over the comm link "Alright, we surrender. Just hold your fire." They said with a bit of fear in their voice. Now they just had to dock with Cyzyn's ship and then he could take it from there.

Within himself Cho was roaring hate and fear, yet a cold silence started to fall upon him. Some thing the darkness called him to calm himself. Crushing his rage Cho noted that his focus had all but lost to him. The calming silence in the force gave him crystal focus. The renewed focus made his shots almost as if he knew where the ship was going. Soon the bi-vane exploded from a very few shots that leaped from Cho cannons.

Flipping the ship 'round he charged hard back to the main ship. His Ion cannon was ready and Cho was very focused on the main targets for the Ion cannon. Easing to flank the cargo ship Cho locked his Ion cannon on a few targets of the ship. Listening to the coms Cho heard the order for the ship to surrender and to be boarded. A small part of Cho wanted to blast the ship, but another part wanted to bring real fear by boarding the ship. Viewing Sith in the flesh and blood is more fearsome than the thought of freezing in vacuum of space.

When the ship surrendered Cho's ship took a defensive position to target the ship's systems and protect it from other ships that might jump in to save the doomed cargo vessel.

I have your six. I'll stay to protect from in bound jumpers.

Cho hoped for more than just being a protector but some one has to do it.

The Pale Harvest would dock with the cargo ship. If they powered back up then Cyzyn-Itza-Rus had the power to storm it from the inside. He doubted the members of the crew inside the transport would be able to defend against a Sith Master of his caliber. But on the inside it appeared that they had indeed surrendered. Cho's presence kept them from trying to make a hasty start. It would have taken them a few seconds to restart all the necessary systems to make a jump. But Cyzyn was already inside as well. If they jumped to another system suddenly he would still be inside the ship.

He came to the cockpit and had them open the door. They were filled with fear. The presence of him in person seemed to instil more fear than anything they could have imagined. He was a two meter tall mass of scaly flesh, sharpened spines, and teeth. "Y-you said you would let us go if we surrendered." One man said with a shaky voice. The Tiss'shar shifted his gaze across the three crew members in front of him as the moment paused. He took one step forward as he spoke. He had agreed to no such terms. With a swift swipe of his left hand, his claws cut throats of the two crew members standing close together. Their life fluid spurted on his dark cloak as he followed up the action almost immediatly by biting the head of the last remaining crew member.

A few moments would pass as he took a few bites out of the hastily killed individuals. While he had just worked up an appetite he dropped a few spare chunks on the deck, only half chewed. They were not particularly to his liking. Reaching over to the console he signaled to Cho. "Well done Cho. Let us leave this place." With that said he plugged in the coordinates to take their haul back to a safe location.
