It was dark, it was quiet, and it was time to kill. Cyzyn-Itza-Rus had made planet fall without issue a few hours ago along with two other sith. Firstly, the well adapted and capable Chosen Cho Wroth. He knew of some of the more extensive things the Dread Lords of the Apocalypse were doing. The same could not be said for Denys Astley, not yet at least. The Tiss'shar had not worked with the man yet but he hoped from what he had researched on the man he was effective in combat. The three were on a rocking ridge a few kilometers to the west of the Norori Star Port. The three of them were to take the location by any means necessary. If they had to destroy the facility or cause damage to eliminate the enemy presence there then so be it.

The enemies were the local authorit, the Lunar Brigands, or at leas that was what they called themselves. They tried hiding behind some false honor and credibility but they were nothing more than a large group of corsairs that had carved out a small kingdom in the Gromas system. Place was meant to hold a few hundred people, hopefully it was not. But even in the best of situations these pirates were probably well armed and dug in like a rabbit in winter. They would need to bee careful about the approach and elimination. In the best of cases they would be able to eliminate them all without sounding an alarm and just have to deal with time and effort. In the event the base taking significant damage then there would probably be more work for the Imperial presence once they arrived.

There were several ways to go about doing this but Cyzyn-Itza-Rus stayed silent, looking through a pair of macrobinoculars at the location from his watchful position. He wondered what the other two were going to think of. This was not just a test for Cyzyn-Itza-Rus, but for his two cohorts as well.

One, two, three, Cho counted the items he chose for the infiltration, pulling them carefully one at a time. The Ion grenades and static grenades he placed in their sleeves of an elongated back pack. Twenty Ion and statics filled the pack yet there was still more room. Another smaller pack he had lugged from the drop ship to open and remove the contents revealing ten smoke grenades which had been converted to be filled with sulfur. The stink bombs were to choke out those that were a little too stubborn to budge from their hidey holes.

Sliding those into their sleeve as well Cho sighed knowing that the pack would be heavy at first but as time would good it would lighten. Closing the long pack he closed his eyes and reach out to see if he was close enough to get a sense of the beings in the compound. Shaking his head he was still a little to far to get a clear focus on how many but he felt the presence of a large group of beings.

If I could bring more gear we could burn them out. .... This saving the building for later use is like getting at an egg with out cracking it open. Which blind spot are we going to hit, or are we entering from multiple sides?

Cho had seen the layout but the hardest part was getting the beings in side to be herded into one side or the other to cleanse them in one swipe.

Checking his belt he made sure his saber was at the ready. It and the elongated backpack full of explosive ordinance were the only weapons he was going to carry in to the mission. The being he was going against would provide the weapons of their own demise.

This was not going to be easy, in fact it would be far from it. Cyzyn-Itza-Rus centered himself and reached out. With his power he checked to see how many he could accuratly sense inside the distant location. The dead wastes of the planet was soothing for his mind. His aspect as a Dread Lord felt somewhat at peace in this desolate habitat. The darkness and twinkling stars reflecting his own heart.

The nostrils of the Tiss'shar flared as they inhaled the cooling air of the planet. It was dry but did not smell like the poluted atmosphere of nar shaddaa, or the fear and anger filled air of korriban. No it was simply wild and Cyzyn smelled death coming like a single tendril of smoke from an extinguished candle.

Turning his cerulean serpentine eyes on Cho he wondered what he was suggesting. "How would we burn them out? It is a large building, numerous exits and entrances. They can put out any fires or suppress most heat. Anything short of burning the whole Port down they would put out and serve as little more than a distraction." He did not mean to sound like he was condescending. He just wondered if Cho meant something other than what he was thinking. Basic was not his first language so perhaps he was not grasping the suggestion properly. Right now he had just thought of infiltrating and taking the Lunar Brigands one by one. Though if there was an option to take out many of them without damaging the port then that would be optimal.

@Foxfire It will just be us in this thread.

Staring at Cyzyn Cho blinked his eyes. Maybe he miss translated his words he did have a bad time with even basic. Cursing in noghri Cho tried to get his point over clearer this time.

How would you go about hunting Sith hounds? You would not go into their lair blind and on their terms.

Passing over a sulfur bomb he pointed to the words written in basic on the sulfur canister.

Make them blind and let their eyes burn from this. They are hidden but what is around them always,....the air. Poison the air with brimstone. Drive them out or force them to fight blind. The building needs air .....yes? Get to the air systems and make the building fill with these.

Cho shows the bag with the 10 sulfur bombs held within. A wicked smile grew upon his noghri face.

Brimstone burns most beings so let the toxic air give us the help where our number can not.

Then Cho pulls the other two types of grenades out of the bag. The ion and static grenades glistened in the light.

Then with these we cripple what would help them and take out larger numbers of those who stand in the way. The building will still stand but the prey will not for very long.

Cho uses the force to levitate one of the static grenades in the air and moves it around his person to only be grabbed out of the air with the same hand that held it. Almost purring Cho was almost hungry to get this mission going thinking of the challenge ahead of them.

The reptilian was glad he had asked for clarification. The Noghri had meant to smoke them out or to get them to leave their place of defense not literally burn them out of the star port. While it would be effective against the normal humans and other species within the star port it would mean that the two Sith would also have difficulty entering the port for some time as well. As long as it worked well then Cyzyn would not have to suffer through the bombs effects.

Simply nodding in response he would take some that Cho would provide and then the two would be able to place them around the base. If they were discovered then it would not do the enemy much good. They would have to come out of their base to confront the two sith. That was already what the dark siders wanted in the first place. But if they were not discovered then they would be able to spring their plan on the Lunar Brigands and sweep away their forces quickly. This would be easier if Cyzyn had brought the group of sith troops he had earned through accomplishments but it was easier to be stealthy in a smaller group

Cyzyn's movements not only went unnoticed but he made sure that the sulfur bombs he placed were in ideal locations for maximum circulation with the air system. It looked like only two exits were functioning at the moment. This could have been for security reasons or the lack of maintenance on the star port. Either way it would allow the two sith to bottle neck the enemy easily.

Cho moved in utter silence as he approached the base. Checking the other vents and emergency hatches Cho used his saber to sever the mechanical parts of the vents and hatches allowing the electronic systems alone. Jamming and damaging the joints would hinder the escape of both gases and the being within from leaving the base.

Going to one of the many external power stations Cho looked it over and noted that he could either disconnect the lines or shut them down. He reminded himself that they needed the base in one piece and more functional than a heap of smoldering ruin. Manually shutting them down Cho listened as the powered ebbed and silence filled the air. Quickly he cut the main line from the power plant. Cho listened to see if the air vents were effected. Hearing the vents were still sucking in outside air. Cho moved to a nearby vent sitting he focused his force power down the vent to see how far down the shaft went. Noting that it went over half way down Cho cut a hole in it and dropped a sulfur bomb to go off in two minutes and then dropped it down the shaft.

The darkness with inside Cho started to grow hungrier for more destruction, yet Cho snarled at the dark insistence. He was the master of his actions and fate not the darkness. His time in the crypt showed him this and he was not going to let the dead drag him to their end.

Moving across the roof top to one of the two choke point Cho came across the external towers for communication and surveillance. With a simple swipe of his saber he cut the cables and sent the base into darkness as to the outside coming and goings. Those in the base were on their own they were getting no help from anyone on the outside.

Moving to one of the two choke points Cho dragged cover for himself and readied himself for the coming fight. Speaking into his coms Cho spoke as clearly as he could.....

Main power down as well as coms. They should have the deep back up power sources for the vents and some internal systems. I dropped one brimstone down to the bottom to see what will be driven up. Make sure to gather a rebreather from those who were smart enough to have them.

The two sith did their jobs so well and the enemy had not suspected a thing. It was not long before the faint sent of the sulfur reached even the outside of the star port. Cho would be at one choke point while Cyzyn waited at the other. Of the fifty one Lunar Brigands inside, less than a dozen were smart enough to get rebreathers in time. The rest, some forty odd corsairs stumbled out into the cold night air coughing. Cyzyn took this time to kill them with his tooth and claw. He did not use his lightsaber, the light would startle some to prioritize stopping him instead of worrying about the sulfur in their lungs.

All around the entrance he used the force to accelerate his movements. He dashed and lunged from one enemy to the next. His tail thrashed out and sliced flesh and tore through the clothing. The men had not been prepared for an assualt and had just evacuated without gathering weapons or armor. They were easy prey and cyzyn used it to his advantage. The darkness of the night coupled with his already dark figure and force enhanced speed allowed him to drench the cold sand with their warm blood. The sounds of coughs, moans of disgust and surprise covered the slick death dealing the Tiss'shar conducted for his half of the lunar brigands. Soon there was no sound at all save for the waste land winds that blew in. He wondered if Cho Wroth was able to dispatch twenty some guards on his own.

Within the silence that Cho waited, he drew in the force which spoke of the coming pain, blood and death. Opening his bag of metal shards that he kept at his side he broke them down into six piles. A nudge in the force made him lift his head. The doors opened and beings started to flood out five at a time. Taking a pile within each hand Wroth used the force to fling the metal shards at the unsuspecting beings. The shards pasted through them at great speed and Cho recalled them to plunge back into the bleeding beings. Each wave came another five after five. Wroth used each pile and whatever was left over he dispatched with his speed to break the neck or ripping of the throats with his claws.

Twenty bodies lay at his feet Cho. One or two were still twitching as three other beings were dragging themselves back toward the doors. Looking over his left shoulder he saw them and with the force he dragged them back to him. Standing over him Cho ran his clawed forefinger up the beings spine to stop at the area of the T3/T4 of the spine and with malice he slowly sunk his claw to separate the spine. With a spasm the being stopped moving tho it still breathed. Paralyzed it whimpered as Cho raised it up to a sitting position. Cho wanted this one to see the pain of those it knew as a Sith dealt with with the other two.

Moving to the next Cho lifted it and rotated so that it would face his paralyzed partner. Fear showed in both of their eyes and Cho could feel it and savored it. A nudge in the force told him that his partner had dispatched the last of his prey. Dropping the wicked smile he moved up to the floating victim. The sound of a snap hiss and the glow from the being's open mouth gave the evidence of Cho's saber. Moving quickly to the other being he sunk his claw into the T3/T4 of the spine and paralyzed it too. Flopping the being so that each of the last living beings could watch on each other as they slowly died.

Moving to the doors Cho used his lit saber to sever the manual components of the doors to keep anyone from opening them. With his saber he wielded the metal doors so that even forcing them open was not possible. Making his way to the other door to Cyzyn Cho let his hold upon the force slowly release so that he could get back some physical strength. Cho looked about at the bodies and noted the carnage that his partner had wrought upon those that were exiting the base. Bowing his head Cho turned to the door to wait for Cyzyn to OK the entrance into the base.

Having been in the midst of his own melee Cyzyn had not paid to close attention towards his cohort's blood letting. However he was able to still notice the peaked pain that shot through the area from the Noghiri's actions against the Lunar Brigands. Cyzyn-Itza-Rus did not ask Cho any questions when it came to his previous violence. He was confident the man was capable and wise enough to not leave any mistakes behind. Turning towards the only door that remained. Instead of entering it he called out with his dark side warped voice. "Those of you that remain are small in number and weak in prowess. The majority of your compliment are dead. I tore out the throats of your comrades. If you not wish me to do the same than exit your domicile and surrender." He did not use any mind tricks, any force powers to make him seem more intimidating. He only spoke the truth at a high volume so that the survivors within the Port could hear him.

After a few moments passed the door opened once again. The light within showed silouhettes within. Each of them had their hands up and as the remaining Lunar Brigands stepped out into the cold dark night they came towards Cyzyn and Cho obviously surrendering.

Cyzyn looked at the leader. He stopped before him eyeing him for a moment. "A wise decision. You have saved the remaining lives of your men." He took some cord meant for strapping down heavyy lugage and wrapped it around the Brigands, securing them from trying to make an escape. The Tiss'shar did not want them making any attempts to flee or cause further havoc. The misssion seemed to be completed and the base was there. Now the occupying Imperial forces would have to deal with some minor damages and the smell of sulfur for awhile. But it seemed the star port was successfully taken.
