Name: Originally John Rogers, now simply "Blasterjoe"

Appearance: When not wearing his Defiant Squadron uniform, which fits him almost perfectly, Blasterjoe dons a black-red garb with a white cape, which essentially acts as his civillian clothes. Even though he has the look of a battle-hardened soldier around him, he keeps his uniform and weapons clean and in perfect shape. His grey eyes usually wear a frown on his scarred face and his hair is of a dark colour.
Attributes: Physical strength and dexterity are not strong suits of Blasterjoe. However, he is a soldier and therefore isn't below expectations either. His strengths lie in his resolve, decisivness and wisdom accumulated over time.
Personality: The most important aspect of Blasterjoe's loyalty. He is loyal to no man or government, but to an idea of freedom, honour and good, and people loyal to ideas are the last ones to give up or turn. Besides that, he carries deep caring for his comrades and soldiers assigned under him. As a war veteran, he has his share of hurtful memories which restrict him from getting too close to people, at least close enough for him to call them friends. However, his idealism is hurtful sometimes. He gets stubborn and stuck-up in his own opinions, not listening to others.
Biography: Born on Dantooine to a family of poor farmers, John Rogers was a little boy with big dreams and ambitions. That us why he often got in arguments with his parents, who always told him to stay low so he won't get noticed. John countered their argument by saying that he doesn't want to die low. The day he turned adult, he took the first transport ship and flew off. He considered doing mercenary work, but he didn't think he would make it far that way. Instead, he flew off to Velmor and got conscripted.
He started out small, but quickly ranked higher and higher. He wouldn't be able to live through his first experience with the true horror of battle if it weren't for a friend he made there, named Joe Vargas. The boys were similiar in many things, including their skills, and even though they had a little rivalry going on, they never took it too far and instead used it to push each other farther. They both advanced in ranks, and after several years, John made it to the general of all armed forces on the planet, with Joe as his second-in-command. However, the toll of many battles proved to be too much, and in one very vicious one, Joe was lost amidst the chaos. While each battle changed a little of John inside, this casualty was a big hit. "Stay low," he muttered as he gave his resignation papers. "Live low." However, he decided not to give up. He witnessed in person danger the Sith represent and joined the Border Alliance, the Defiant Squadron. Taking up the name "Blasterjoe", in honour of his lost friend, he intended to fight for good and freedom now, instead of his foolish ambitions.
Skills: Blasterjoe is very skilled in the usage of blasters and rifles, making him a great marksman. His tactical and logistic skills are also not to be underestimated, given his past. As he often worked in terrain, he has had experiences with explosives before.
Gear: A generic blaster rifle, generic blaster pistol and his Defiant Squadron uniform.
