Reports indicate that around a certain time, a convoy of two Voruda-Class Heavyfreighter moving large quantities of Tibanna Gas will leave from Bespin to depart along the Ison Corridor. Once they leave the planet, they will rendezvous with their assigned security detail. We know what time and where and we have a narrow window of opportunity. Deal with the starfighter squadrons, board the freighters, and then take control of them.

The White Lady will be present, to disable the Freighters with it's Heavy Ion Cannons

Reports indicate that a private military firm has multiple squadrons of starfighters protecting the freighters to make sure that their shipments of precious tibanna gas are safe. The enemy starfighters must be destroyed. There are also armed mercenaries on board the freighters as well, they will need to be eliminated.

Once that’s done, the captains boarding the freighters will hijack them and then will unload the cargo at a location yet to be named once the ion cannon disabling effect wears off. The plan is to move in quickly and move out once we have the plunder. If this is completed, it would send a powerful message to the Bespin government and we make off with the Tibanna gas. With this, we start taking control of where the gas flows.

Out in the void of space outside of Bespin, two Voruda-Class Heavyfreighters are in a convoy to head outside the system. They are in a mostly straightened line. At the front is the Heavyloader and behind it is the the Mynock. They are freighters that are loading tibanna gas from the gas giant Bespin to export on other worlds. Its a large quantity shipment, and Admiral Ademaro Di Gino of the Blackbird Pirates is not going to pass up this good opportunity to take it from them for themselves. This should be easy, there is only a compliment of three squadrons of CZ-01 Interceptors, for a total of fifteen of them total. Gamma Squadron is there, as well as Delta and Theta Squadrons The interceptor squadrons are contracted out from a private mercenary group, who pay a very good price to ensure the delivery of their precious tibanna gas. The interceptors are gravitating around freighters while matching their speeds.

"Gamma Squadron Leader here. No problems."

One of the squadron leaders said on the coms channel of which the freighters and interceptors are on. And then suddenly, the Blackbird flagship the White Lady then comes in out of hyperspace. The White Lady is now 50 km right in front of the path of the Heavyloader. Next, more Blackbird ships emerge from hyperspace along with it, including a wing of twenty Stinger fighters

"Do you copy? Pirates came into the system! Be ready to engage! Cargo freighters, get to safety!"

The CZ interceptors then increase their speed to engage. Admiral Ademaro Di Gino is at the bridge of his flagship, observing what's in front of him. He has his eyes on the credits."This is your Admiral speaking. We know what we came here for. The freighters are our prize. The rest of the rabble needs to disappear." The Admiral ordered. Let the battle above Bespin get under way. The plan is for the White Lady's Heavy Ion Cannons to disable to the freighters so they can be boarded. But the starfighters will make boarding difficult, so they must be destroyed.

“Battle Stations! Come on! Hurry!”
Being the very last ship to arrive out of hyperspace, Caj’s ship, the newly dubbed Space Dragon, was able to start making decisions before charging into the fray.

(to all pirate fighters) “all fighters this is Captain Chaos, attack enemy escort ships, but do not, and I repeat, do not harm the ships hauling Tibanna Gas! Also, protect the White Lady, the admiral is aboard.”

(Then to White Lady) “Captain Chaos to Admiral,do you request personal protection or should I help the fighters destroy the escorts?”

Griffin was off sleeping on his chair waiting for the ship to leave hyperspace. Honestly the captain was tired from his time wondering around having fun. But now he was dragged to help out the fleet in taking some Tibanna gas, sure it was a lot of money but he needed him time sometimes. Regardless when his droid began yelling at him to wake up, the captain opened his eyes to see several small fighters surrounding the target.

Which wasn't good but Griffin was experienced enough to know how to handle this. One of his two security droids went up to the turret ready to attack. Shaking his head Griffin got onto the controls listening to the communicator as one captain began trying to tell him what to do. While also the Admiral was telling him to attack.

"I got this guys!" Griffin replied in the communicator letting everyone know that the pirate was going in.

Pushing the engines to full, the freighter launched forward firing its missile, with the forward laser cannon fires into the fighters and the turret began firing, though slower then the forward laser cannon. Sure as soon as Griffin began firing into the crowd of fighters they scattered but still around 3 fighters were down. Now to see about the new captain.

Since the enemy fighters were scattered it created a slight problem but having better maneuverability than Captain Griffin’s freighter, Chaos was able to put his speed to use. Angled slightly to be able to hit more targets, The Space Dragon, zoomed forwards and a bit to the left, to take the enemies down from the side.with his gunners fully hyped and ready he ordered for one proton torpedo to be fired, and then as it got close enough to both damage and block the enemy, Chaos ordered the torpedo shot at the escorts to get it to explode into the “faces” of the enemy. Calling this tactic the - shoot the ‘boom’ tactic, with the ‘boom’ being the proton torpedo and the beginning what he does after launching the torpedo.

Then just as the smoke and shrapnel started, The Space Dragon, “jumped” through the smokye region and quickly shot up 2 with the heavy laser cannons and lightly skimmed a third with the light ion(partially shredding the enemy shield), however, his shield of surprise being lost, he quickly turned right and barrel rolled out of there. Now, he could wait for the admiral to give him the “go” for either one of the jobs asked for while the rest of the raider squadrons peppered the enemy...

“Captain Chaos to Admiral, do you request personal protection or should I help the fighters destroy the escorts?”

"Destroy the escorts. With our numbers advantage the White Lady will be safe" The Admiral replied to the captain known as 'Chaos'. It's true. Their interceptor escorts are being pounded on by not only Captains Griffin and Krayte but also the Blackbird's Stinger Fighters. If the interceptor escorts to focus on the pirate corvette, then that would open them up to being destroyed by the aforementioned groups. Di Gino liked Krayte's initiative as he ordered that the Stinger fighters form up on him and his subsequent tactic to cause quite damage. Griffin is doing his fair share as well. The Blackbird fighters are also doing some damage to them as well, although they limited in what they can do because of the interceptors outclassing them in terms of specs.

By this time, about eight of the fifteen interceptors are lost, with half of Delta and Theta squadrons being lost with partial losses to Gamma Squadron. Losses were mitigated by various evasive maneuvers somewhat. Gamma Squadron (four interceptors) goes engages the Space Dragon @Chaos from the rear, going at full speed as to press their speed and maneuverability advantage, firing their laser cannons once shots are lined up. As for the Alabaster Freighter @Richie B. The remains of Delta and Theta would be (four interceptors also) would go to engage the freighter at every angle save for the top, provided if they could help it, once again aiming to abuse the superior speed and maneuverability of the smaller interceptors to dish out damage.

Meanwhile, the Heavyloader and the Mynock have both turned port-side, taking the advice of the Gamma Squadron Leader who heavily suggested they flee to safety. Ademaro Di Gino is not willing to let the prize get away. The White Lady then starts moving towards the Heavyloader, which is the closest to the White Lady. "Heavy Ion Cannons ready?" He asks some of the bridge staff. "Yes Admiral." "Aim for that target" He said pointing to the Heavyloader. "Fire!" And then the Corsair corvette then fires a volley of heavy ion cannon fire at the Heavyloader. It hits. With a standard Vordua having only civilian grade shield generators. The ion bolts shred to the shields like wet paper. The shots also directly impacted the Heavyloader's engines, disabling them and stopping the vessel right in it's tracks. It can't prepare it's hyperdrive either in it's current state. With the Heavyloader disabled. Di Gino then set his eyes on the next target, the Mynock. "Alright. Move at full speed and prepare to do the same thing to the last freighter." Ademaro Di Gino then goes on the comms channel to communicate to the fighter squadrons and Captains out in the fray. "Alright. One of the freighters are stopped. Griffin or Chaos, see if one of ya'll can get started on boarding it." The White Lady then moves and realigns itself to prepare to fire it another volley at the last target freighter remaining. Di Gino knows that the enemy fighters are in the process of attacking them, but they should be able to handle it with the Blackbird Stingers especially.

By this time, the Captain of the Mynock then gets on an comms channel back to the mercenary group they hired out, in a hurried and panicked voice. "Attention! This is an emergency! This is the Mynock we are being attacked by pirates in orbit above Bespin. One of our freighters is disabled. The interceptor squadrons are nearly gone. Please send back up ASAP." "Consider it done. We will be there as soon as we can." The Mynock got a reply on the other end of the channel. Soon, reinforcements will be arriving after they are mobilized and make the jump to hyperspace. (OOC: Four rounds of posting till arrival.)

Griffin smiled, enjoying the battle so far diving head first into the fighters. But even with his ships shields he knew better to stick around for such a long combat, so seeing that several fighters to coming at him. The captain figured that the only way to get out of this is to push past the Starfighter. Playing a little game of cat and mouse. While he continued to move forward straight into one of the fighters shooting the forward canon, the pirate would swivel to the left with only a few seconds to spar. Even with the droid on the gunner spot the top turret couldn't fend of every fighter leaving the shields at half power.

Still watching how the enemy were beginning to circle around him, the pirate began to try and get close to the now disabled freighter just so the fighters will be less likely to shot. Using the scanners to see where the enemy was if they would to continue to be behind him, Griffin made sure his ships belly was facing the freighter so the turret had free range to fire behind him. Getting on the comm's to talk with his fellow pirate captain, Griffin wanted to see how his buddy was doing.

"Hey what is your situation like. I am close to the freighter but might not be best for me to get in it right now." Griffin would wait for a response as he tried to stick close by the freighter for protection.

The situation could be better, but since the mynock got off an emergency relay i should probably send you my four 'friends' and ensure the assistance of our stingers and my torpedoes, all while boarding the Heavyloader, i mean, --- we have to bring something "home"... said Captain "Chaos" over the comms. And with that he quickly got the stingers to go to where they needed to go: All Stinger Pilots, this is Captain "Chaos" speaking. I need 12 of you to follow me and to blast the intercepters off of my back, while the other 8 go around and start shooting at Captain Griffin's 'little friends'... We shall afterwards meetup while blasting the rest of the intercepters to smithereens... After his "speech" Caj rounded up his crew(via comms) and told them of their duties in the skirmish and then the boarding of the HeavyLoader ahead. Tyrealon would stay as pilot and ensure our safety from aboard. Logri would be backup gunner and main gunner while Ral joins the boarding party. and Jaydfra would aslo be on the boarding party. The boarding party would thus consist of: Ral upfront, Caj second, and Jay last. Ral and Jay would have the two shotguns while caj would go in pistols 'blazing'.

Thus with the 4 intercepters that had once chased him gone, the skirmish began... Caj ordered the torpedoes fired for maximum damage and ordered for all stingers to hold tightly to their triggers. With torpedoes exploding and laser fire going off at the same time, the plan would work on one account: if the stingers didnt mess up the formation and leave a gap big enough for the intercepters to escape. Luckily none of that happened as the enemy had their rear ends to the stingers and took massive damage during the first 5 minutes of the fight. Three were suprisingly shot down by the stingers, another got blown up by a torpedo, and a unaccounted third got shot down by Ral. Thus, with Captain Griffin free, the boarding could begin.

They locked up next to the hatch and scrambled into the heavyloader, weapons up and fingers itching for the trigger. One blam, one scream, and one less mercenary.. All because Ral was,was, facing a bit off to the right. Jaydfra shot the doorlock and they scrambled even further into the depths of the ship...
Jaydra yelled to turn left, make a quick right, and then we would be at the 'cockpit' after a long corridor where some more mercenaries could lay in wait. Everything happened as they thought it would, mercenaries in place and the door to the cockpit locked. Six on three, were the odds. Not that good. Yet, everything can be used as a weapon, so Caj got Ral and Jaydfra to grab the utility droid that they had passed on the way and to throw him into the midst of the mercenaries, thus throwing them off-balance and maybe setting up a shot or two for Caj. One headshot brought the guy who had fully stood up down to the floor while a second shot only hit another mercenry in the arm, thus slowing him or her down for a bit. Jaydfra got charged by two big twi'leks and was able to quickly dispatch them with some well timed shots, while Ral gave suppressing fire towards the others, only managing to clip an enemy blaster and was then forced to reload. When the small amounts of smoke cleared, both sides found that they'd effectively positioned themselves in such a way that neither side could shoot without getting hit. Thus with a draw under way, they would need a distraction, such as the boarding of the Mynock...

"Good. Good." The Blackbird Admiral muttered to himself. Chaos is boarding the Heavyloader. Captain Griffin and the stingers are handling the rest of the rabble. So now the White Lady's Heavy Ion Cannons are ready to fire. "Ready when you are boss." he was told. "Heh. Fire at will" The White Lady then unleashed another volley of ion cannon fire, this time hitting the Mynock. The Mynock was extremely close to having it's hyperdrive powered and ready to jump out of the system. But it was too little, too late, as with the Heavyloader before it, the Mynock's engines were disabled from the burst of ionized particle bolts directly hitting it, leaving the heavy freighter standed in the void of space, left at the mercy of the Blackbird Pirates. At the bridge of the White Lady, Ademaro Di Gino smirked. "Alright. The last freighter is disabled. Griffin. You able to get that?". He communicated with the Captains on the coms. With the Stingers ordered to assist Griffin, Griff should be free. Ademaro then issues one last order to the bridge crew for now. "Alright. Turn the ship port-side. Let us deal with any of the escorts that happen to be present" "Aye, aye" he heard. The White Lady then turns it's self around port-side and then moves at full speed to engage with any of the interceptors still remaining with it's laser cannons. The Interceptors are putting up a good fight with the significantly out-dated Stinger fighters, but they can't hope to match up to the flagship of the Blackbirds themselves. Oh. looks like they've been taken care of already. Now, if the boarding captains can get this done quickly, they can get out of here with the gas.

Griffin was surprise to hear the other captain start giving out orders like that. Seemed like he knew what he was doing, which was good since Griffin was too busy with making sure he didn't crash into the convoy, and keep his shields from going down. Still he wasn't going to be jumping into any sort of boarding action yet. To much risk better to join handle the fighters in something he was sure won't blow up on him. Sure it was cowardly but, Griffin didn't plan on living till a old age by being brave. So for now he was content with fighting the fighters. Watching as some fighters join him and taking care of the enemy at him, Griffin realized that he was going to have to board now since the second freighter is disabled.

"Got it Admiral." Griffin understood that now that the Admiral had told him to join in the boarding action that he will was going to have to.

As the fighters that were chasing him were shot down by the pirates fighters, he smiled shaking his head knowing that he was about to get into a firefight. Flying though the mess wasn't that difficult but taking a second to watch the fighters smash into each other in the middle of the void of space was somewhat pretty. But Griffin didn't have time for that and so he got to docking on the disabled freighter.

"Come on droids time to get going." The two security droids that he had on his ship began to walk towards the door, as they would be joining him in the fight.

While the astormech droid stayed on board and made sure the ship wasn't destroyed during the boarding. Grabbing his two DP pistols, the captain walked over to the door where the ship had clamped onto the freighter, now was the time to earn his pay. The two droids stood upfront as the door opened revealing the interior of the enemies ship. The lights were off and no one to greet them. Griffin didn't like that. So the two droids walked forward slowly prepared for anything.

As soon as Captain Griffin had started to board the Mynock, the Captain of the mercenaries got a message via comms about the recent boarding. The idiot stood up, this ensuring a quick death from Chaos’s sniper. Afterwards the small party watched as Jaydfra pulled a small spherical object from inside of her armor. A grenade. Of all of the things to have on board Chaos’s ship, a grenade was illegal! Jaydfra! That’s one week’s pay and one month on probation for you! Also daily searches! ... However, as you do hold it, I give you my express permission to chuck it towards our “friends”.
And so having chucked the grenade, the party jumped away while the mercenaries blew up along with the door into the bridge. Ral raced in and quickly put at least two shots into every being inside. And finally, with the HeavyLoader secured, “Chaos and Co.” were able to relax. But first, one quick call to the admiral.
Admiral, this is Captain Caj “Chaos” Krayte. We have secured the HeavyLoader and I shall now be sending two raiders from my personal crew to scout out the rest of the ship and to be 100% sure of capture.
