Another fascinating class at the Umbara Academy. The teacher had grandly begun discussing the Sith Code's deeper meaning. And as educational as it was, the Tiefling was puzzled. She understood what it meant at its core, but she didn't know how to apply it to herself. Either way. The lesson had come to an end, and Jane, as usual, was among the last to leave. Her gaze lingered on the other students, watching and studying them as they rose from their seats and collected their belongings. And, as usual, Jane did her best to imitate their behavior.
The Tiefling paused as she exited the classroom, looking around the hallways. There were no more lessons coming up soon, and she didn't feel like doing anything in particular. So her feet led her to the gardens, a place she enjoyed being in because it was quiet.
Jane's gaze wandered, taking in everything she could as she walked past students, noticing some animals, a spider weaving a web in the corner of the ceiling and a fly about to dive into it. She hadn't noticed the stares people usually gave her, or perhaps she wasn't aware of what it meant. Regardless, she eventually reached the gardens. She pushed the door open with her small hands, allowing the dim light of the garden to reach her eyes.
The Tiefling, content, walked over to one of the benches and sat down on top of it, neatly arranging her skirt from her typical academy outfit. She lowered her backpack and placed it next to her on the bench, opening its lid. She took out a small brush and her doll, an old porcelain with a soft-bodied figure, red cheeks, and short golden curls. She had no idea how she got the doll; when she awoke for the first time since her memory loss, the doll was next to her. Since then, it has always been with her.
