"How do I know him? Well I remember meeting Grabarz six years ago, and I remember eating lunch with him again just last week. In all that time, meeting and eating with him once a week, every week, for those six years, Grabarz hasn't changed a bit. He's the routine type, follows the same set of actions day in and day out with no deviation. It's comforting in a way, knowing someone as reliable and consistent as that in this hectic galaxy... No, no I can't say he ever did anything strange that I saw.

He's an odd sort, though I suppose anyone would be looking like that. I asked him about his appearance once, asked if everyone of his kind looked like that, he just laughed. He's a kindhearted fellow, I don't think he's capable of anything like you're describing. Most people misjudge him you know, based on, well, his face and the extra limbs and all that. But I think that's a misguided approach to take! He's just as normal as one of those Miraluka I see among you Sith, but he told me he wasn't a Miraluka, so I'm not sure what he is. But I know for sure one thing, he's definitively not a Force User like you say he is!

Last time I saw him, he was still working the gravedigging job. People die, and people here on Saleucami don't like the cold burials that machines and droids do. Grabarz gives it a kinder touch, handing the dead with care and making sure they're properly laid to rest according to our customs. Most people like him, they just don't like looking at him. Look look he lives outside of town, ten kliks west of the furthest building. Listen guys he's a good man, he'd ever hurt-"
Appearance
Grabarz is a Ebranite, and as such possesses six arms and thick, slow legs. He usually keeps his extra limbs hidden close to his body unless otherwise stated. His species evolved to climb trees, and therefore are quite slow on the ground. His face is one large mass of flesh with no eyes, small holes for ears, no nose, and a small mouth barely capable of opening large enough to speak quietly. His disfigurement is not a result of torture nor anything from his species, but simple genetic deformity.
Strengths, weaknesses, and Abilities
His abilities and strengths are very simple. Grabarz has six arms, this gives him extreme versatility in both utility, climbing and battle. His arms are not abnormally strong, they're quite average. His legs are short and thick, making him slow when not climbing. While he's capable of running, without aid of the Force he's not very fast. He is a trained Force User, capable of using most abilities, though he attempts to abstain from the Dark Side of which the majority of his training is in. He is capable of Sight through the Force. He is an adept blade fighter, but due to his blindness he cannot fly a ship by himself. He is an average shot with a blaster rifle, but finds it difficult to fire accurately quickly at any range with his reliance on the Force to see.

Larisa Arkyadvich is not a troubled person, both of her parents are still alive and she graduated from officer's school at the top of her class without issue. She could have gone into any field, yet she chose the role of official investigator for the Sith Empire's Armed Forces. The Sith way of life leads itself to inner conflict and violence, but the military must be careful not to style itself in this manner. It is for this reason that people like Larisa have steady employment. Someone dies who isn't supposed it, it's her job to find out who the killer was and make sure they're brought to justice.

"The only language people understand is violence. Violence comes in many forms, but the only kind that matters to me is that which is legal and necessary. A well functioning society is one that is predicated on the idea that the state controls a monopoly on legal violence. You steal a bread loaf, you skip out on paying taxes, you burn someone's house down, all these things violate the laws established by the Sith Empire, and therefore, in order to keep you in line, violence must be enacted on you in response. This is violence that is not only agreed upon to be just and necessary by the citizens of the Empire, but also it is agreed upon that only the government itself may enact this violence.

The state is the body, and violence is the hands. I am the hand of the Empire. It's not hard to understand, when you think about it. But whether you understand or agree does not matter. You live in this society, you will agree upon it's rules and principles, otherwise you might find me knocking at your door. Let me tell you, you don't want me at your door."

"I am the best at what I do. I've been trained in hand to hand combat by the Echani at the academy, I've worked alongside the greatest Sith investigators still living on some of their best cases, and I've spent time as an apprentice to a Sith for a short time. The Force runs through my blood and while I'm certainly not a Sith Warrior of any caliber, I know how to use those energies. I'm a quick draw, a damn decent shot, and a good pilot. I've lead men and can direct small unit tactics to the degree required by my work in arresting lawbreakers.

First Defense Mercenary Enclave

The First Defense Mercenary Enclave is a newly formed Mercenary Enclave centered at, and in control over, the Chardaan shipyards at Chardaan. Their primary function is to operate as a non-profit giving bounty hunting and security detail missions to local mercenaries with a heavy emphasis on giving the mercenaries most of the profit from the jobs. What little is taken off the top is redirected to the shipyards, where vessels are created and donated to the Jedi Order.

History​

Created by the Arkanian Mira Jeth, the First Defense Mercenary Enclave was designed to give mercenaries from all walks of life a source from which to gain meaningful, profitable, and legal employment in an ever-expanding galaxy of criminal syndicates and pirate groups. While the enclave was created by Mira Jeth, it is not run by her. A former planetary governor of Chardaan, Micheal Harda, currently heads the organization as CEO. A relatively new enclave, the First Defense Mercenary Enclave has yet to make a strong mark on the galaxy, but it intends to be a name that goes down in history.

Structure​

The First Defense Mercenary Enclave is a mercenary group second, and a business first. It is headed by the CEO, Micheal Harda, and its actions are driven by its shareholders, of which Mira Jeth holds a strong majority.

Outside of its leaders, the FDME employs a wide variety of mercenaries, accountants, and dockyard personnel. It keeps a large contingent of mercenaries on hand for quick service and large-scale protection jobs for individuals and private companies. Should the need arise, these mercenaries can also be called upon to defend the enclave itself. Accountants help with the balancing of the books, seeing to it that mercenaries get paid, taxes are filed, and profits are redirected to the construction of ships for the Jedi order.

Lastly, a significant number of employees are just shipbreakers and assembly droids. Taking apart any salvage brought in for valuable materials and constructing new vessels to fill orders as needed.

Products and Services​

The FDME does not actually create any ship designs themselves, though if someone submitted a custom design they would be able to craft the vessel to the best of their abilities. They offer themselves mostly as a small vessel construction facility and shipbreaking factory. They also, of course, offer mercenaries for protection, escort, bounty hunting and local planetary defense jobs. The only restriction on their mercenary recruitment and employment is that all jobs taken must follow all local and galactic laws of the sector in which they operate.

Intent​

To create a self-sufficient NPC organization to create ships for the Jedi Order. Additionally, I wanted to have a mercenary enclave the Jedi could call upon for legal services. This also provides the dual purpose of being an organization that PCs can state their missions come through and have legality to their work In Character. The main sets of jobs offered legally would be protection, escort, and planetary defense contracts, as this organization is not attempting to circumvent the bounty hunter's guild.
