No offense, but from that description he seems kind of boring. If he's just killing over and over again, where's the adventure and suspense in that?

go up head to head with Empress Viea or Matron Lirreka and test that leadership ability * EG*force combat brutes dont survive here long well, in this era now they might do better that is until the ebons return.

but no, some characters don't need affections,,, but others its a defining point..

Kyra would never have made the impact she did to the story were it not for the characters need to have a relationship to validate herslef... and everyone who remembers Kyra's flings... think on this.. would any of the events that made her what she became have happened without that character flaw?

but on the same coin...if Sin was a romantic at heart would he have been nearly as effective a grand Admiral ?

He is a threat to the galaxy cause he has basically mastered the force and anything or aspect of the force he can master. Also he allways starts wars. When he dies he finds ways to come back.He also has a insatable sexual appeptite. He will kill families to suck the fear out of the kids then kills them. He is a killer thats basically what he likes to do. He basically helps eraticate Ubase and Mandalorians and Transadosiens. He hates those species and loves to kill them. He gets sexaually arosed whn he totures people that he hates. Like Jedi. He also has no time for classes or rules and titles. Like lets say hes a Sith lord he has no respect for the Dark Lord at the time and will kill him if he stops him. Even though i was not Dark Lord of the Sith. I basicallly ran tham and did whatever i wanted with sith forces.

that would be a Dark Jedi... though a sith lord is cold,, the Sith are those of deep religion, like the Jedi,, infact a Sith is MORE strict to the rules and traditions

and as I said that style of character is old news, and every one that tried throwing there weight around too much tends to get snufferd out if they catch the wrong persons attention...

so thinking wisely about your rivals is very important.

remember that some of us here have been very seriously rping tabletop, and pc wise for about 16, to 25 years or more

um...the way the charcter is he knows all the Sith Traditions and Knows like all the Secrets.*Hence Sith Lord* He just has no time for restrictions or rules. He does not care about them. But for some reason he likes to train people to use the force.He is the head of the most academies when he is not fighting on the battlefield. He thinks with as many force useing people*Men to fight and kill to him* in battle they can win cause he thinks no normal troops can stand up to the force.

Yes, and that book was top class...

The thing is, Dark Empire should not have been published, its bollocks... and Lucas finalized it with the prequels. Anakin was the one to bring ballance to the force by killing the Sith. He did that. That doesnt mean he could kill the Sith so it would come back to life or clone itself.

The whole of Dark Empire should be ignored.

...but again, Lucas has pointed out that Qui-Gon was the first to learn the secret of the Whills. The only reason why I consider Exar's story to be a part of the overall Star Wars saga, is because he is one of the most awesome characters ever.

Yeah, what Jetzt said. If you notice, I've always hated the idea of the Sith returning after Return of the Jedi. Why? Because, if they do then what was the point of Anakin? That's right, nothing. Anakin destroyed the Sith so they would be destroyed forever, not just a few years. That was the entire point of the prophecy.

Now Exar, Naad, and other ancient sith did not return in the way qui gon did, they were in all practicality Ghosts, and only then it was a FEW Freedon came back twice,, one to teach exar, and onother to try to destroy the new era of Sith that Darth Bane was forming * the rule of two* now he had the ability to make Banes ship crash on Dxun,,but was still dead, only his hatered kept his spirit earth bound

Exar never was a ghost, as much as while he was being defeated by the Jedi he burned his essance into the temple, in the same way a Jedi burns there essance into a Holocron

the way of the Whills is Not a ghost, but a higher plane, a oneness with the fore, where they are not dead, but more hyperdimentional entities
