Unfortunately, Belgium has been hit by a terrorist attack; this is days after Salah Abselam was captured by Belgian authorities. This is quite unfortunate, and my thoughts are with those that have been killed/injured.

EDIT: Also, @Law abiding heretic , pretty much every country, especially in the EU, has been on terrorist alert since the Paris attacks, and the reason they say Belgium was on special alert, is because less than a week ago they captured Salah Abdeslam, wanted for the Paris attacks in Brusseles, so while they were aware that a payback attack COULD happen, they never received any threats or warnings. Therefore, I think it is unfair to blame them or their police.

That isn't true. There are numerous countries all around the world that have experienced attacks before the Paris attacks, and they also went to special alert.Nigeria, Kenya, Somalia, are some countries I can think of at the top of my head, and I can state that as an African, the countries(especially in East Africa where I'm from) that border Kenya and Somalia are also on special alert. Hell, Kenya unfortunately had an attack in Westgate, Somalia has been having a civil war for years that have involved terrorist groups(although things are slightly better), and well...Nigeria, I think you know how that turned out.

I'd like to point out that this is coming from someone with a history of 'Trolling' and general mischievous and silly behavior. I completely agree; the attack in Brussels is not something to make fun of.

I posted a gif that pretty much expressed my feelings on what happened. It's sad, but I'm not feeling much right now because of the rawness of the situation and how jaded someone can get from constant news of people blowing other people up. It's bad, but I'm more concerned about my inability to care as much as I used to about this stuff, what that means, and how more of this shit can be prevented in the future.

Morality crisis aside, idk what to say other than provide some hindsight and point out the validity of LAH's "troll" post. That guy jumped through more hoops than he should have been able to just to end up killing others and himself along with the other perps. Holes have to be patched.

There's also the problem of media trying very hard to make it appear as though the threat of Islamic Terrorism isn't a huge deal. Remember that #callbrussels thing? Sure, let's invite people into the country and city on high alert and run a campaign that states "It is very safe here. Just come. Just do it, hop on the plane. We have waffles."

I think you are misunderstanding the meaning of trolling my good sir, now unfortunately the same people who where partaking in said flag waving USA chanting nonsense where right all along about what happens when you let people who support a twisted medieval system of religious values that encourages global Jihad unchecked into your country.

Now Belgium is essentially a dysfunctional failed state that has more than its fair share of failed reforms. Now if both the police, justice system, and government could successfully take off their earplugs and blindfolds this attack could've been easily nipped in the bud.

Am I making light of the situation? No I am not. Did sinbi do anything? No he didn't. Do you have the right to be offended at how you interpret what I say? Yeah sure but welcome to the Internet pal, the world is not a hugbox like it is on that pitiful little shiara controlled island of yours.

The actual target of the Brussels attack was a nuclear power plant, they went ahead of schedule because they feared recently captured Salah Abdelsalam would spill the beans.

Suicide bombers who blew themselves up in Brussels were originally considering an attack on a nuclear site in Belgium, but arrests started last week may have forced them switch to targets in the Belgian capital, the DH newspaper said.

The quality of Belgian nuclear sites is notoriously bad, causing an official diplomatic request from The Netherlands to shut them down.

The plant in Doel also employed a muslim extremist who is currently fighting in Syria, he had access to the plant right up until he left for jihad.
