Ajan Kloss (Outfit)

The blinding blue ripples of hyperspace snapped away into the ether as it spat Natiri's ship from its pathways and into the black of space. She always thought Hyperspace was a little funky, what with the weird white light in the middle and the blue cloudy wormhole-like effect - it kind of looks like the Force wanted you to start a rave on your ship while it provided the epic lighting. Natiri leaned back in her pilot's chair as Ajan Kloss inflated steadily to slowly encompass her vision, the supposed Jedi planet all that occupied her mind right now. It had been about a month since the incident in the caves on Prakith, where she called upon the Force for the first time in her life...or it felt like it at least. She would feel so embarrassed if it turned out she just didn't know her own strength, but then again, she was the kind of woman that could barely open a jar, let alone lift several tons of rock. Regardless, she had thought about it enough over the trip, it was best to just focus on the task at hand and let all the thoughts burst out when the apex was reached.

Leaning forward again, she guided the ship into land and grabbed her coat, slipping it on before grabbing her blaster and baton and strapping them to her belt. It was supposed to be a peaceful jungle world, but you never knew what a place was like until you visited it yourself. Moving to the boarding ramp, she raised her hand to the release but stopped herself at the last moment. Everything seemed to slow for a minute, the silence becoming more deafening and the dark surrounding her...until a low honk cracked through the ship.

Natiri's head fell as a grin forced it's way across her face, a slight laugh escaping her lips as her turned to look at Gonk, always there to snap her out of her own head when she needed.
"Gonk gonk" He said, wobbling side to side on his stubby little droid feet. He had a point, she was being a bit too melodramatic about things, this should be a whole new adventure for her, running around the galaxy and helping people, stopping the bad guys, getting discount drinks because she was so awesome etcetera. Maybe she just needed to get out and get some fresh air, a couple hours on a ship could make you feel a little stuffy in her opinion. Natiri moved over to Gonk and ran a tender hand over his chassis.
"You always know what to say buddy," She said softly, her hand moving up to the Lothcat perched on top of him like he was a throne. "And you, you little kriffer, always melt my heart with your floof." Gonk and Floof were kind of like a two-piece band; one of them broke her defenses down with words, the other broke the last of it down with her adorableness, it was a good combo. Anyways, enough monologuing

Natiri hit the button and the boarding ramp shuddered down, the three passengers strolling out of the ship and into the wilderness, ready for their new adventure.

The old Knight had been meditating, when a ship had pierced the sky, landing close to his meditation spot. It was odd, for the old Knight always chose places in the jungle far away from the temple. Far away from what little society existed on Ajan Kloss. The Temple had it's own dedicated landing platform, which made him believe that whoever piloted the spacecraft did not know the Temple its exact location. That was why the Whiphid had decided to investigate, figure out who were on that ship and what their intentions were.

Kraud enjoyed his stroll through the jungle as he headed for the spacecraft. There was no need to hurry; they were in the middle of nowhere. The pilot and possible passengers of the ship would have very little options but to stick close to their craft, which effectively made anyone with ill intentions easy to neutralize. Not that he expected the pilot and passengers to have any ill intentions, no, if that were the case, he would've sensed it already. Chances were high that this was yet another explorer, wanting to verify that the Jedi appearing in the Galaxy's many legends actually existed. If that were the case, he was going to end up with yet another headache.

Roughly a quarter of an hour after the craft landed, Kraud, guided by the Force, reached its location. It seemed abandoned, which made the old Knight frown. Leaving your ship unguarded in the middle of the jungle was a strange decision to make. Cautiously, the Whiphid approached the ship. He had no intention to take anything, but he had to know what he was dealing with first. Or more importantly, who.

The boarding ramp, still open for anyone to enter, was as far as he would go. Placing one hand against the ship's cold metal frame, Kraud summoned the energy of the Living Force and allowed it to vibrate through the craft, returning to him with valuable information. It was a little exhausting to use psychometry on such a large object, but the imprint left behind by its pilot was strong. Within the blink of an eye, Kraud learned a few valuable details. The pilot was female, was looking for the Jedi and had a few companions with her that he couldn't quite place. There was only one way to find out who or what those companions were; he had to find the female pilot.

Natiri removed her tracker and clicked it on, the device interfacing with the ship's nav data and highlighting the structure it picked out hidden among the greenery. It wasn't the best of leads, but it was a start at the very least since she couldn't find any kind of landing pad. Perhaps the lack of any discernible facility was a good thing though - a blessing in disguise. It gave her a chance to just walk through the jungle, after all, breathe in the pure, unrecycled air, feel the bark of the trees, feel that ground beneath her feet. It was good to get a feel for the solid ground again, the vacuum of space could be pretty depressing if you let it get to you.

Trekking through overbrushes and taking refuge in a clearing, Natiri quickly double-checked the tracker to make sure she was going in the right direction when a gentle blooping noise buzzed out from her belt. It was the ship's intruder alarm, an add-on that she didn't really care for since she was planning on just ditching it. She considered just ignoring it when a thought came to mind...what if a Jedi had found her ship? It would be faster getting to one, in that case, it wasn't too far back since Gonk and Floof moved at a snail's pace.

Turning back, Natiri was quick to slip through the path she had taken, Gonk and Floof following along at their own pace as she moved ahead. Sure enough, there was someone at her ship, and with dress sense like that, it had to be a Jedi. Natiri was about to stand and call out for him when something grabbed her shoulder. All thoughts of the Jedi quickly left her mind as she let out a high pitched scream and grabbed her stun baton, whacking and flailing at whatever it was that had tried to attack her. It was only when the brief high had worn off and Gonk's wheezing laughs reached her ear that she saw what had touched her.

That loose tree branch would never trouble anyone again.

The large hand of the mighty Whiphid moved to his chin, as he considered his options. Of course, he could run after her, follow her tracks and hope that he'd find her in the labyrinth of trees. It would take some time, good perception and luck. But the Whiphid wasn't the kind of person who based his chances on luck alone.

A second option, the more plausible one, was to trust the Force. If he was meant to meet this woman, the Force would guide him to her. The old Knight closed his eyes, surrendering his mind and body to the Living Force. It echoed through the glade, but gave him no clear direction. Not even an indication of what he was supposed to do. And that, in itself, was his clue. Kraud briefly smiled, as he realized that he wasn't supposed to find the woman. No, she was supposed to find him.

With slow movements and incredible patience, the hulking Jedi sat down. The sun was awfully bright today, which finally gave his conical straw hat some purpose. Kraud peered at the treeline, half expecting a blaster pistol to fire at him from the cover given by the jungle. That's why the sudden high-pitched scream coming from behind him startled the Jedi a little, although he still appeared calm and unshaken. "Is this how you usually greet people?" he teased, amused by the woman's reaction.

Natiri froze at the sound of the voice, turning around and laying eyes on the Whiphid sitting by her ship. She had just screamed like a little girl and whacked a tree branch to death like it was a deadly predator in front of them...uuuuuuugh. The embarrassment flushed her cheeks a rosey red as she covered her fold, haphazardly folding her arms together and looking away a little.
"Um...I ah..." She started, but found herself lost for words. All she could manage was a few chuckles at herself for being so silly. It wasn't the best first impression, to say the least.

After a moment, when the humiliation had started to wear off, she looked back at the man in front of her closely. Given the robes and the calm, unperturbed demeanor, she felt that she could safely guess he was a Jedi. Of course they would find her before she found them, it was their planet after all, they had to have seen her landing. Once again, embarrassment and the feeling of idiocy started to well up, but she pushed it aside this time and shook her head. "Um, no, I don't normally give such a...painful greeting, hehe," She finally started nervously, her lips curling inward as she pointed at him. "Hello, I am Natiri, I'm an archeologist...and you are?"

A smile played about his lips as he took not of the woman's embarrassment. It was understandable, for it wasn't the most graceful first introduction she had just given him. The two unknown imprints in the Force he had sensed with his psychometry were clear now as well. A gonk droid and a lothcat. Both harmless creatures, but he was unfamiliar with their presence in the echo left behind by Natiri.

"Kraud. I'm a Jedi Knight, as you may have guessed." he began. "What brings you to this place, Natiri?" It was a bit of a rhetorical question. He knew why people visited Ajan Kloss and in this case, he could even sense it. Her presence in the Force was still raw and unrefined, but not necessarily inexperienced. Did that trouble her? Was she here because of her Force sensitivity? The Whiphid decided against asking her about it. If it was something she wanted help with, she would share it with him. Despite being a Jedi, he still preferred to follow one of his former beliefs; live and let live.
