The blinding blue ripples of hyperspace snapped away into the ether as it spat Natiri's ship from its pathways and into the black of space. She always thought Hyperspace was a little funky, what with the weird white light in the middle and the blue cloudy wormhole-like effect - it kind of looks like the Force wanted you to start a rave on your ship while it provided the epic lighting. Natiri leaned back in her pilot's chair as Ajan Kloss inflated steadily to slowly encompass her vision, the supposed Jedi planet all that occupied her mind right now. It had been about a month since the incident in the caves on Prakith, where she called upon the Force for the first time in her life...or it felt like it at least. She would feel so embarrassed if it turned out she just didn't know her own strength, but then again, she was the kind of woman that could barely open a jar, let alone lift several tons of rock. Regardless, she had thought about it enough over the trip, it was best to just focus on the task at hand and let all the thoughts burst out when the apex was reached.
Leaning forward again, she guided the ship into land and grabbed her coat, slipping it on before grabbing her blaster and baton and strapping them to her belt. It was supposed to be a peaceful jungle world, but you never knew what a place was like until you visited it yourself. Moving to the boarding ramp, she raised her hand to the release but stopped herself at the last moment. Everything seemed to slow for a minute, the silence becoming more deafening and the dark surrounding her...until a low honk cracked through the ship.
Natiri's head fell as a grin forced it's way across her face, a slight laugh escaping her lips as her turned to look at Gonk, always there to snap her out of her own head when she needed.
"Gonk gonk" He said, wobbling side to side on his stubby little droid feet. He had a point, she was being a bit too melodramatic about things, this should be a whole new adventure for her, running around the galaxy and helping people, stopping the bad guys, getting discount drinks because she was so awesome etcetera. Maybe she just needed to get out and get some fresh air, a couple hours on a ship could make you feel a little stuffy in her opinion. Natiri moved over to Gonk and ran a tender hand over his chassis.
"You always know what to say buddy," She said softly, her hand moving up to the Lothcat perched on top of him like he was a throne. "And you, you little kriffer, always melt my heart with your floof." Gonk and Floof were kind of like a two-piece band; one of them broke her defenses down with words, the other broke the last of it down with her adorableness, it was a good combo. Anyways, enough monologuing
Natiri hit the button and the boarding ramp shuddered down, the three passengers strolling out of the ship and into the wilderness, ready for their new adventure.
