Lumière sat in one of the transport's rather uncomfortable chair, she could feel the itch from the form fitting suit all over but still resisted the urge to scratch.

Still haven't gotten used to this bloody thing.

She pulled the vibroblade from its sheath on the outside of her thigh, right now it was only a normal blade, but when she hit that switch, it would become a weapon of sonic devastation. She smiled and pulled on the voice-masking plastoid helm that would complete her suit. One more deep breath to relax and then she would be ready for whatever mission it was that awaiated her at the end of this trip. She took another look around at the operatives that comprised elite team alpha. The newest member, a young man by the codename Dragoon looked around nervously, he shifted uncomfortably as he always did.

"Stop fidgeting Dragoon."

The young man turned to look at her, his eyes wide with fear, he knew how rare it was for her to speak.

"Y-yes Ma'am."

She smiled inwardly, always enjoying the fearful respect given to her by the other operatives. Any moment now it would be time, and she would let her enemies know the wrath of Azrael.

Entering the transport, was a officer (One could tell by decorations), holding the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He stood at the entrance with his legs together, and his arms crossed behind his back, his calm gaze looked around in the dimly lit hall of the Dropship. "Colonel Azrael, the Minister of War wishes to speak with you in the Hanger Office," Said the Office stiffly, he lifted a hand up. "Please follow me," His gaze looked about the chamber of the transport, for someone to stand.

Finally, briefing.

Lumière stood, and nodded at the officer, following him through to the Hangar office without a single word. Strangely she didn't recognize this man, though that was likely of no importance. Her feet made no sound as she moved through the cavernous hangar bay of the titanic star cruiser. in this new suit, despite being layered in thick materials she didn't ever feel hot.

Though I can't help but wonder why so many of us are gathered for this mission, this is far from orthodox.

The officer strided past the row of resting dropships, eventually leading the Colonel to a smooth metallic door - the officer pushed a sequence of buttons on the panel based by the side of the door, as eh finished the door slided open. Revealing a dimly lit office room, a dozen tables and several chairs and filing cabinets, some tables having computers. Resting on the side of a room not far from the entrance was a holopad.

"The Minister," said the Lieutenant as he looked at the holopad then her, taking a step further aside.

A nod notified the lieutenant of his dismissal before she passed through the archway and into the rather large office. She looked around a little, taking in her surroundings casually as she waited for the holopad to reveal the minister. The computers on the ship were fairly old, as this ship wasn't the newest cruiser in the fleet, but still an effective one. Eventually she took a seat in one of the chairs at the outside of the table.

Any moment now ...

A light flickered a bit, and within seconds the blue life-size image of Serre De Rouge appeared. He stood at 6'6' but floated above the Holo projecting pad, so he towered everything. He looked around a bit, the hologram shifted a bit with some static and interference but the image was fairly solid.

"Colonel Azrael, Commanding Officer of the Naval Operations Unit. According to the most recent status report you are now thirty standard hours away from the planet Commenor. You're most likely curious why I ordered you and a Operations Group to go on board a ship along with two Marine Companies on a trip down in the galaxy."

The hologram began to flicker and interference came over it but the link was quickly re-established, and the hologram grew solid again with the Minister's form.

"You will be conducting a mission at Commenor, you're mission will to hijack the major ships stationed in the orbiting shipyards and to bring them to another planet called Fondor. Some of your personal should by now being informed of coordinations and details. Your mission is to pacify security, hijack the ships stationed there and if any already active ships try to stop you - try to escape first but if they halt you, fire upon them," The Minister began to adjust his uniform, rubbing out wrinkles, his holographic turned to something but returned to her.

"Commenor is quite a busy world in terms of traffic - your current ship was built twenty-one years ago, a Cargo Ship - we doubt we could smuggle you onto the Shipyards with a battlecruiser. The ship will bring you close to the shipyard, and then the Dropships will be deployed - how you get in the Shipyard and steal the ships exactly I'll leave up to you're creative minds, your mission should be simple, capture 'those' ships,"

The hologram vanished as the holopad de-activated.

Great, thirty hours in this uncomfortable suit. I suppose it could be worse though.

A crisp salute was all the response she could give to the minister before he faded out of view. After the briefing finished she spun on her heel and casually strolled out of the office, and back towards her dropship.

Hopefully I can get some sleep in here before it's finally time to land.

A sigh punctuated her mild frustration as she stalked silently through the hangar. It wasn't long before she reached the fairly small dropship that would see her out of the cargo ship and into the port she was intended to take control of. As she stepped through the small threshold into the main chamber she nearly ran right into a man briefing the rest of her unit on the objectives at hand.

"... How you get into the hangar will be up to your commander- Azrael."

A small tap on the shoulder and a quick nod let the man briefing her troops know that he was dismissed.

"Get some rest, tomorrow is a big day guys. Dismissed."

She slept rather fitfully in her seat, nightmares plaguing her. Her father had caused these nightmares so long ago, and she would bring judgement on him when the time was right, but for now, she had more important things to focus on, like being well rested for this mission.

During one particularly powerful nightmare she was wrenched from sleep entirely, thrown into complete wakefulness. She removed her helmet, placing it on her seat before leaving the twenty-man dropship.

What to do now?

She wandered silently through the near-empty hangar in aimless thought. Even though there were visible signs of degradation on in the old cargo ship she still found the scale on which is was built rather impressive, perhaps not as awe-inspiring as a Flagship, but incredible nonetheless.

Before too long she had found her way back to the little dropship and fallen asleep once more, this time, it was devoid of her painful nightmares.

"We're nearing Commenor, all ships prepare for launch." The voice came over a PA system in the hangar bay, and various personnel returned to their drop ships and began steeling themselves for the battle ahead.

It's time!

The ships launched, creeping towards different shipyards, Lumière's toward the largest in sight, it wasn't long before the small ship made contact with the yard, alongside a group of Marines to fend off any Security that might be present outside the ships.

Security Commander Brennus observed the ship yards with a keen eye. Early sensors had picked up some strange activity, but it was passed off as simple radar scatter. The shipyards, while not massive like the ones found on Kuat, or Mon Calamari, were large enough to fill the needs for the simple planet they orbited.

"Sir, radar picking up numerous small vessels across the board, I think they're dropships!" An ensign cried, frantic hands pressing down keys on the monitor in front of him. "Shit, they're going hot sir!"

Jona cursed silently as he moved to a security panel, where he viewed the numerous dropships unloading their crew, unleashing their fury on the dock workers. "They've come prepared." He muttered as he studied their suits. "Armored and heavy life support."

Getting up from the panel, he quickly moved over to the command console, and took the reins. "They'll be wanting our ships! Get those turrets live, I want those droppers blasted out of the sky! Ensign Ricky(:P), locate the command ship. I want it crippled and cowed!" The Ensign acknowledged his order before searching through all channels for the ship.

"Sir, security dispatched to yards 3, 5, and 8. Yards 2, 6, and 7 all have hostiles crawling over them. Only yards 1 and 4 are left blue." Another bellowed out.

"Send an anti-personnel team to 1 and 4, get out ships in the air people! If they can't get to them, they can't steal 'em!"

Her little comlink crackled to life with the sound of the marine captain's voice "We'll take care of the turrets and security, you and your men push into the ships as soon as possible, these guys seem organized." With a quick wave of two two fingers toward the location of the turrets several clusters of marines pushed forward, one man leading the pack with an energy shield up to absorb the first few shots before they could get to cover.

Her eyes quickly broke away from the Marine's actions, drifting towards the little indicator on her HUD that pointed towards the entrance of the nearest ship.

"Follow!"

Several voice broke out in acknowledgment of her orders.

"Breach!"

Dragoon quickly went to work on slicing the blast door that blocked their path, his hand a flurry on the small, specialized datapad that he stored all of his slicing programs and utilities on.

Roughly 20 seconds later the control panel that Dragoon had been doing his work on spoke in a calm effeminate voice - "Security Lockdown Overridden." - The large steel door snapped open and Lumière quickly led her twenty-one man squad through the door as the massive ship left the yard.

"Nihil, Enfer, Guard!" She spoke harshly with her sweet voice through the comlink. Two crisp salutes followed by two men taking their place on either side of the inner airlock door to guard their master slicer.

A quick hand signal let her soldiers know to go about their specific objectives. Five men to the engine room, five men to the armory, and five to the dormitories. She would go to the bridge with only two others, her most trusted lieutenants, Erzengel and Seraph it was time for stealth now. The crew could be patrolling anywhere on that ship and she knew it. She tightened her grip on the specialized stun blaster in her hand as she silently prowled through the metallic halls towards the bridge, she could taste the beautiful victory ahead, but this was no time for arrogance, anything could still go wrong with a little bad luck, such risk was the beauty of life.

Please, everyone be safe, I'm counting on you.

"Sir, we have an unrecognized signal overriding the Devault's lockdown!" Cried Ensign Ricky, looking at the screen in front of him, a red light signaling the breach.

"HUD the schematics!" Brennus ordered, a large holograph of the ship's layout appearing in the middle of the room. Twenty-one red lights flashed as they dispersed through the large ship. They know what they're doing.

"Sir, Yards 1 and 4 are secured, security fighters are in the air. We have yet to locate their flagship, I think it may be masked as a cargo vessel." A corporal yelled to the Commander.

"Alright. Do we have any teams near the Devault?" Brennus asked, his eyes scanning the layout of the large ship.

"Yes sir! A ten security personnel. Shall we send them in?" The corporal asked.

"Yes, and inform the crew of the Devault." Brennus replied, before leaving his station and moving to a large computer panel. "As soon as we have confirmation that the hostiles have entered the buildings, issue contaminant leaks and fire alarms. They're meant to go off regardless of any lifesigns." Brennus ordered as he saw the movement of the Devault's crew become very organized. "They've got our message, send the group in."

After pressing on for another thirty seconds towards her objective the comlink crackled to life again. It was the oh so familiar, yet somewhat nervous voice of Dragoon.

"I'm working on bringing down power as best as I can, but I think that there's someone trying to block me."

"I trust you."

The young man swelled with pride and doubled his efforts, his fingers bouncing over the small datapad's keys. The two soldiers at the door kept their stoic post as they stood aboard the ship, keeping the airlock room secure so the unit's newest member could work his magic.

I'll show the commander what I can do, this ship will be ours!

Lumière knew that the key to inspiring her crew was quite simple, to trust in their abilities was to have them trust in their own abilities. After roughly another thirty seconds the comlink transmitted the calm voice of her engine room team's captain.

"We've reached the entrance of the room, and we're waiting on your orders to eliminate threats and secure our position."

"Use discretion, execute capture when you're prepared Sol."

He let out a grunt of acknowledgment and the encoded transmission broke off once more.

"Azrael, this is Luna, we've reached the dormitories and have encountered no resistance as of yet. I'm afraid we may be walking into a trap."

"If we spring it, they'll be caught in it."

I won't be killed by a bunch of scared pilots.

"Captain Azrael, this is Ether, we've reached the armory, but there's a security door blocking our path, we're just waiting for Dragoon to slice it before we enter."

"Understood, hold your position ether."

"Power is now going down, and all security protocols are cleared captain! Nihil, Enfer and I will meet with the engine room team and work our way up."

"Good, keep this channel clear now for emergency situations."

It was beautiful when a plan worked so flawlessly. But now it was time for her to do her part, the hardest part of them all, three people to take hold of the bridge.

A quick hand signal let her lieutenants know it was time to engage the stealth field generators and thermal vision now that the power was down.

---The Devault's Armory Room---
"Power's out. They'll be coming in any second now." A whisper rang out in the pitch black room.

"You ready Hackit?" Another, deeper voice.

"Yes, just give me the cue." A third, Hackit, replied.

"Good, on my mark. Three... two... one... now!"

The heavy doors flew open, and two grenades exited the room, landing on either side of the five men outside. One was on the control panel, closest to the blasts.

The three unloaded their payload on the condensed group of soldiers, green and red streaks of light illuminating the room. "You chose the wrong ship!" Hackit yelled as his rifle fired around the corner. The man with the deep voice lobbed an incendiary grenade out into the room, before a wave of heat and fire enveloped the hall.

---The Dormitory---
"Where'd the lights go?!?" A nervous recruit exclaimed at the sudden loss of power.

"Relax, recruit! They've cut the power to try and cow us. Obviously they don't know the crew of the Devault!" A senior returned, a blaster held confidently in his hand. "I'm sure they've already notified the Senate, soon we'll have ships crawling the skies." Placing an energy pack in his blaster and cocking the gun, he smiled. "For now, we'll just have to play a little game. Lad's, you ready?"

"Yes sir!" A number of voices returned, the dim light of the emergency bulbs illuminating the armed men. They didn't have anything fancy, but they were still lethal weapons nonetheless.

"Good!"

---Back at HQ---
"Have we found that damn ship?" Brennus yelled, sighing at the secure state of 1 and 4. They wouldn't be getting in those two. Now they could focus their attention on those power uplinks. "I need a reading of all hostilities, pinpoint their locations, we need a coordinated attack. Has the Senate been notified?"

"Yes sir, a sortie of 8 corvettes are on their way, holding 100 fighters. That's all they said they could spare." An ensign replied.

"Good, what's the status on those emergency systems?" Brennus asked.

"They're standing by. They'll have to space walk if they want to get into any more of those ships." Another Ensign replied.

Brennus smiled. "Good."

Alright, consider this thread closed, I just don't have time to write anything anymore if I want it to be even remotely verbose, so, have fun.
