Grandmaster and leader of the Rebellion, Arda Breaux, has decided to reclaim heritage worlds of the Jedi. It won't be without notice even as the Sith Empire seems to be forever walking a fine line between success and collapse, the conquerors of the dark side have taken notice and they know if the Jedi reclaim Tython, it could tip the galaxy back into the favor of the once extinct Order and pave the path for a new Republic.

Battle of Tython I

The Jedi have arrived and the Sith know of their presence as a group of Jedi explore the remaining ruins of the temple that stood five centuries prior. The place is overgrown with the natural flora of the world as visitors have not set foot until recently. Pools of water have formed in low-laying areas of the temple giving it a serene look to a place that undoubtedly faced chaos and despair. The Force is strong there, conflicted, but calls the Jedi home.

❅ THEME ❅

Drip... drip... drip. the woman's gloved palm felt the moisture fall from the tip of a leaf a few times. It used to be days if not weeks she had to deal without seeing any greenery on her homeworld. But that was another life. Tython was a rather pretty planet in her opinion. On Atrer III there were nothing but ruins it seemed. For some reason that gave this place a sort of comforting vibe for the Sith Lord.

Shaking her hand and riding herself of any remaining water the large Deucalian Sith stood up. Flicking her braided hair over her shoulder she had choosen to dress in something other than her usual Deucalian garb. While her current outfit provided a nice aesthetic it also still held the same protective plates though was a little bit more subtle about its protective purpose than the overt armor she normally wore.

Carrying her usual gear on her she looked through the light towards where her cohort was. She was a Zeltron, which brought back memories of her days, or rather nights, partying on Zeltros. Darth Valravus had yet to see her actual capability though or hear of it for that matter. Still, it was interesting to not be alone in exploring this powerful, force presiding presence on the planet of Tython.

Raising her hand in front of her she formed a single small purpilish flame at the center of her palm, having it illuminate some of the darkness around her before snapping her previously relaxed hand into a fist. The light was snuffed out as soon as it had come. She wondered who else would be coming. Surely this was not the type of thing that only two Sith would come to look into. Aadya was somewhere on the planet probably. Tython was important. But that did not mean they could hang out even in the field.

This place reminded her of Dromund Kaas, her homeworld, there fight againest nature is always constant. the rainforest was always probing and looking to reclaim what was once her's and natured had reclaimed this place and like nature the jedi have come back to lay claim to Tython once again.

She has been tracking jedi since they're arrival on the planet alongside Darth Valravus. This wasn't the first time she had worked alongside a Darth, she served under Darth Tagus for a time during the conquering of Iridonia. She heard a lot about the deucalian, her reputation proceeded her, a strong warrior who her enemies feared or at least that was one version of her. As she had heard that she wasn't quite 'whole' mentally, that two minds lived her head that contrasted each other but so far she has only seen the one side of the Darth.

Zarya was carrying her standard equipment and gear, ready to fight the jedi in the ruins of their old temple and chase them from the planet as the sith did 500 years ago.

Kaath had received a transmission from the rebellion about the impending battle on Tython. Taking back the jedi home world would be a worthy cause, a step up from his pizza delivery jobs. The man was an assassin through and through, and while it was quite proficient at the trade he had never faced a sith before. In combat at least. He would end up being asked to help retake the jedi temple's ruins, a job that would undoubtedly be hard and loud. While he preferred to work from the shadows, he wouldn't turn down a chance to help the rebellion.

The man would set off in his poorly kept Rockhopper freighter and make his way to the once great world. Traveling through Sith territory was always treacherous, but due to the size and quality of his ship, he went nearly noticed. Radioing in to the rebellion he would simply declare "Galactic Pizza Delivery here, making my way to the site right now."

The pizza guy would land outside of a ruined structure of some kind. His intel said it was the meeting point alright, but where were the jedi. Taking a temple single handedly would be impossible alone. "Uhh, hello anyone else around." He would call out. Whether he received a response or not, the man would begin loading his blaster pistol and securing a satchel around his body that contained two of his signature pizza boxes. He hoped the sith liked cheese.

Soran had been sitting in meditation for a while. Tython was such a Force Nexus the felt as he could touch then entire planet and all the living things on it. The Force bond them all together in its embrace.

The Padawan was part of the team that was in charge of reclaiming the temples that had once been the home of the Jedi. it was there on Tython that the entire Jedi Order became what it was supposed to be. It sadly was also there that one could truly see the remnant of what once was. Hopefully one day, these structures would teem with life again, not fauna and flora resulting of abandonment and neglect, but the life of all those that would come here to teach and learn the ways of the Force.

Hope after all, was mostly all the Jedi had left now. It needed to be nourished and kept alive, else it would risk dying for the entire galaxy.

Soran’s meditation came to a close when he heard a voice call out in the direction of the team’s meeting point. Soran stepped out from the cover of a thicked besides an ancient stone stairway where he settled to wait and meditate.

The young man looked around and scanned the area with the Force. He could see an armoured man with a blaster to his side, the man matched the description of the operative that was to assist the Jedi in reclaiming the temple. There was no sign of the other Master Tembra however. The more experience Knight was supposed to be the one in charge here.

“Over here.” Soran called out, trying not to be too loud so as to not bring about unwanted attention. The area was no secured. The Padawan kept his hand close to his lightsaber as he stepped towards the self proclaimed Pizza Delivery Man and kept all his senses alert. The Jedi were aware there was danger on Tython and that the Sith knew they were here, not only that but Soran’s intuition told him something, or someone, very dangerous was approaching

A droplet fell, this time it seemed from the echo that rang through the ruins. A voice, male, from outside was clearly heard. The heavy force presence of the planet itself was almost a camoflage for force sensitives unless directly being searched out it would seem. Darth Valravus would have to keep that in mind.

For now she just pulled the lullaby blaster pistol in one hand and her Kastaöxi in the other. Her two different colored eyes looked towards Zarya to see if she knew to proceed with caution. For the next few momements the Darth began to conceal her presence in the force. She could not reach out, or sense, but her presence would not be detectable for others enabled with an affinity with the force.

"Go set the mood my little sparkle boy." She whispered to her Personal Entertainment Attendant. The spiky looking thing seemed to blink at her and then float towards a separate shadowy area before beginning to play music. The echoing eerie tune would likely reach the two men outside but that was her plan. She wanted to have some fun with whomever had shown up. Darth Valravus enjoyed her job. As she slunk backwards into her own shadows her near perfect white smile disappeared into the darkness, barely able to suppress her mischievous giggles

Zaya would follow the same motions as the Darth, concealing her presence in the force upon hearing the voices.

while the Darth was doing whatever she was planning with her droid, Zarya began to climb the many of the vines that had grown over the walls to a second story that overlooked and hung over the main entranceway of the ruined temple.

once up there she would hide shadows and plant life that called this mezzanine home, waiting for the opportunity or sign for her to take action.

Kaath would hear the soft shout of a near by padawan ushering him to the meeting point, or what he believed was the meeting point. Making his way out of the rusty old ship, the delivery guy would sling a satchel around his body carrying two explosive pizza boxes. The disguise wouldn't do them much good on a battle field, but it may make an opponent hesitate for a second. A second was usually all it took. "Ah, I'm glad I managed to catch up with you. I'm mostly briefed on the situation. I've got explosives and can provide covering fire... Can't say I'm much of an outdoorsy type, so I'll let you take the lead here." The man would reach into his jacket and pull out a blaster pistol.

He was already preparing for action when the first sounds of combat would be heard. Then again, was that the sound of combat? Listening more closely, he would he music playing in the distance. That was odd, and the theme of said music made it that much more ominous. Was this a threat from the sith? It was quite possibly one, but the rebel wouldn't charge in headstrong and alone. This was a battlefield, soldiers from both sides knew for tricks that could lead to a potential victory. This had to be one such trick, a trap. "Hmmm, hear that? Maybe we should come up with a plan before running in there..."

“I cannot say I am much used to it either.” Replied Soran matter of fact. The Padawan began to try and think of the best way to deal with the situation and the environment around. However his thoughts were interrupted by the tune of faint music come from ahead. Whoever was inside the temple was aware of the Jedi and his ally and wanted them to know.

“I do not think we have to go inside at all, they seem very content to come for us.” Soran could not shake the terrible feeling that something extremely dangerous was coming their way.

Soran pointed back at the various foliage and underbrush that surrounded the area around the temple. “Perhaps take cover in there, keep watch for any tricks and cover me.” He said in a low whisper so has to make sure not to be overheard.

Soran had no means of combat beyond his lightsaber, so he would have to face the threat head on. The young man stood in the open area in front of the temple, his lightsaber still turned off but ready in his hand. His fighting style was purely defensive so he would gain no advantage from going on the offensive in a conflict.

Drali sat, and waited, and waited, but nothing happened. Homwever was outside was staying outside. Her shoulders sagged a little in disappointment. Exiting the inner corners of the parts of the temple she had been hiding in she moved towards the entrance where the shout had originally come from. She switched from her deucalian weapon over to her lightsaber.

In one hand she held an inactive lightsaber in one hand only intending to activate it to defend against possible blaster attacks or an ambush. Drali walked quietly and not in any hurry. She waited until she was on the other side of the wall where the two possible hostiles were located. She switched her blaster to stun.

In the next moment, Drali became a cloud of quickly dissipating black mist amongst the shadows inside the temple. It was easy to say in broad daylight but in the dark area inside the temple it was hard to see. The same mist appeared outside the temple, behind the form of the one she could sense the most of. She had used teleportation and now had the back of Soran just two or so meters in front of her. A mischievous smile etched on her Deucalian features. She pulled the trigger twice from her blaster a the center of Soran's back.

OOC: @christhebarker @z0pu @James Steel We timed out originally but the other side also timed out so we'll pretend nothing happened there.

She waited as droid made it’s noise to bring they’re prey but it seemed they weren’t biting. They would have to go on offensive but she was fine with this.

She stopped hiding her prescience, and Jumped down from position on the broken mezzanine, she activated the blade and cross-guard of her saberstaff and ran through the main entrance towards where voice were this would consider with drali’s teleport.

The woman had expected at least a half turn. That would have been nice. The look of the jedi's face turning to look at the barrel of her blaster. But instead he took the two stun bolts in the center of his back before his body fell to the ground. "hmm" She murmured in disappointment.

Mentally shrugging she dragged the blaster over towards the only other person she saw there. She assumed he was either another jedi or some other associate. Either way she would squeeze the trigger on him the same way she had done on Soran. He looked like a pizza delivery guy or something. Maybe she would treat Zarya to a slice somewhere after all this was over.

OOC: @christhebarker @z0pu @James Steel GA side timed out. All initiated attacks from the sith side hit.

The same thing happened again. It was the pizza delivery looking guy that fell this time. She would have expected more considering their location. Maybe these guys had just stumbled onto the temple. I guess its technically possible through a series of increasingly zany events. The Deucalian Sith was trying to rationalize why this interaction had been so quick and lack luster. She put away her weapons for the time being, seeing no point in keeping them out if both her targets were down.

Walking over to the nearest guy she grabbed his arm and pulled the sleeve up. ooooh, he's kind of got some muscles. heehee But she was not looking for muscles. Instead she conjured a small blade in her now free hand. "Let me give you something to remember me by." She hummed the melody to the song she had been playing earlier. The blade cut into the man's upper arm, just enough so that it would leave a scar but not cause any lasting damage. Darth Valravus carved a two centimeter diameter frowny face along with a single star above the head. The same symbol was repeated on the pizza man on his opposite bicep.

Standing up the small blade disappeared back into nothing. Darth Valravus looked down and admired her work. Satisfied, she picked up both of the men, took them to the shuttle she had come on, and dumped them a couple files out into the wilderness with no clear way of telling where the temple was. She just wanted to make sure they would not head back that way when they recovered. If they did then she would have to kill them. Today the Red Yeeter was being merciful. She was heading to see how Aadya was doing anyways and inform her of Zarya and her own success.
