Running along the trunk of the massive tree, perpendicular to Drenn's position, Tris' left hand caught a branch about the size of his lightsaber and it snapped off into his grip. The Sith had not followed. So Tris' boot slammed down, his left knee coiled into a strong bend, and he pivoted into a jump that launched him into a reversed hellicopter flip; lightsaber and branch whirring like a propeller, with body stretched out and up as his feet soar overhead and down onto earth.
Tris landed onto one knee with a shallow splash, back on the side where Drenn had stayed waiting, at a distance from danger; then stood in the pitter-patter of rain. Wishing for these moments to last forever, Tris started walking towards Drenn once more; a power building in his hand.
"You should surrender, Sith... if you know what's good for you."
