Affleck was the best part of the movie to me. Just a shame they didn't explore why this Batman is the way he is in a way that pays off.

Cavill did his best with what material he was given.

Eisenberg was actually fine as Lex Luthor... just not the one everyone is familiar with. Businessman Luthor came about in the 80's. Before that we had mad scientist Luthor and I think Jesse Eisenberg has that down pretty well.

Gadot really could have not been in this movie and it wouldn't be different. The only meaningful thing her character does is fight Doomsday while Superman saves Lois Lane for the third time in the movie.

I agree it isn't the worst superhero movie (F4ntastic, Elektra, X-Men Origins), but it is certainly down there.

I saw it over the weekend and thought it good but not great. Ben Affleck was good as Bruce and Batman, Lex was a good villain for the movie, Superman wasn't nearly as angsty as he was in man of steel, wonder woman could've had a bigger role, doomsday was meh and over all it wasn't all that bad. I think they could've done without the Batman origin story and flashbacks and done with why he was the way he was in the movie. Maybe something like a showdown with the joker and robin or something... the flashbacks and dream sequences were a but confusing imo but meh I'm just rambling now, anywho that's my thoughts on the movie ^-^
