I was wondering:

Perhaps we could all have communicators? This would be new and a little bit weird, because it would involve us reading both threads and responding in our own thread, however it would allow for a more synchronized attack.

My plan would be as follows:

Everyone states their position. The Base team relays information back to the Woods team. The Woods team communicates with one another to track their position and keep each other from dying. Should the Base team need a hasty escape, Elika totally rocket launches some shit at a wall to make an opening.

I don't know exactly how this would work, but what do you guys think?

And Radz, would it even be applicable? .3.

It's possible they'd hack into or block our communication.

It'd be better to just have your own threads and work within them. Keeps confusion at a minimum.

:( Seemed like a good idea but valid points, Radz. Any issues with the plan me and the others have for our side of the conflict?

Awwww....

If I do fire a rocket launcher in my thread though, can that have an effect on the base?

And to save a post, I have another question. Will we have NPCs in the Forest as well? And how hard will their NPCs be to kill? o3o

As Radz posted earlier, whatever your character brings is what you'll have to use - your ships, whatever NPCs you bring, etc. Just don't overdo it and all that.

Sure, but that ruins the whole point of two threads. We split the battles in order to focus on certain areas.

I'd rather you not try to effect the other thread, at least not until the end. Then you can maybe meet up somewhere in another thread, or whatever you feel like.

Radz. Any issues with the plan me and the others have for our side of the conflict?

I'll read over your other posts in a bit and give you some feedback if I have any.

Waiting for the Mandos. Afterwards, we can discuss it based on how things are goin'. Seeing as we'll be entering the base before the exterior assault, it should be simple - we arrive, try to blend in and find an access point for Sotelo to give us a good layout of the base. With that, we plan further. I've been thinking, we need a way to keep our exit secure. Maybe leave one Droideka on standby near the hangar entrance, to keep the Mandos from sealing us in if things get bad.

What if we roleplayed we stole a freighter and just filled it with explosives? It'll be rigged to blow before we even land, just need to get the plans and intelligence then slip out and blow the place. Probably wouldn't expect the ship we fly in on to be the bomb.

Only issue with that is, if I'm reading the suggestion right, what if a Mando investigates the ship we arrive on and notices the explosives everywhere? Plus, it wouldn't destroy the entire base. That and we'd have a time constraint as a result. So if we get sealed in at all....

Those concerns aside, it'd be doable, I suppose. But how'll we escape if our transport is a bomb?

We could either steal a Mandalorian ship and high tail it out of there or we can leave the base and slip out with the woods party.. Otherwise my ship has an AI that could pick us up once we're a fair distance outside of the base.

As for them searching the vehicle, my suggestion would be that the Chiss hid any explosives in it. Kind of how the Falcon hid the crew on the Deathstar. Have all the explosives hidden within the flooring of the ship or anywhere possible that could be torn off. For it being such a small base they'd have to go onto the ship itself to search it.

We'd be able to blow up a good portion of the base then anything else we'd have to blow we could have preplanted some smaller explosives throughout the base. Though being stuck within if the bomb goes off would be a problem, though always could have it be remotely triggered.

Remotely triggered works. Yeah, we can rendevouz with the Woods team or something and all high-tail on Traask's ship. Sound plan and all. Anyways, once the thread kicks off, we can adapt to it and infil and exfil however we can.

Yeah, my only fear is that if they say they dont know the ship that's lowering into the base they could just open fire on us and we're sitting ducks.. How big is this base? Any idea so we know the amount of explosives we'd need?

We never agreed on a exact size, we just expected the Mando's to post their interpretation of it. If one is needed though, I can talk to Phil.

Agreed, I'd just like to know if it's more of a bunker style base or if its a ground level base. Makes the plans on how to blow it up a lot easier.

Alright. If the Mando's don't post a good enough description of the base in their first posts I'll talk to Phil about getting exact specs.
